"They're summoning him again" she thought to herself worried as she looked at a little cloud. It serves as a way to monitor what's happening on earth. The cloud showed the Mathias attic where the two sisters stood behind a podium the Book in their hands as they chanted the summoning spell.
In a swirl of white lights she vanished from the heavens appearing on the attic of Mathias manor wearing bluish white flowing robes.
"He won't be able to answer your call…well at least not at the moment." she stated matter of factly. "Not until you accept the fact that he's gone." she said knowing that what she said hurt, but she had no choice for it was the truth.

Keriann had gone out for a short while so Liah had called Krys. She had been trying for sometime now to summon her father's spirt but to no avail. She decided to try with her sister who she had hoped would agree to help but Krys hadn't yet returned home and she wasn't answering her cell. Liah wanted desperately to see her father, so much had changed. She wanted his guidance; advice...maybe she just wanted to hear his voice. It was her 2nd time doing the chant, she was tired of waiting on her sister and had started again on her own, when suddenly a swirl of white orbs appeared and for one blissful second Liah was convinced she was about to see her dad but the person who stood before them when the orbs cleared was not her father but some unknown woman dressed in robes. Before she could say anything the woman began to speak.
"How do you know this?" she asked trying and failing to keep her frustration about her voice, "And more importantly who are you?"

"I am Minerva, the Angel of Destiny," noting the frustration in the woman's face.
"I am here to help, help you understand what has happened." she replied calmly wisdom radiating in her voice. "To understand that things are as it should be." she said with finality.

She was stunned. The Angel of Destiny. She had hear legends about this woman and had doen some reading of her own on her If everything she had learnt she was indeed in the prescence of one of the most powerful magical beings ever known. She listened intently to what the woman had to say as it was indeed a great honor to be graced by her prescence. Her face however darkened when she spoke of things being how the should be. How could her father being murdered be somthing that should have happened.
"I would love to hear this." she said, an edge to her voice.

"Don't get angry child," she said seeing her face darken. "Haden...your father's destiny was planned even before he was born... she said with certainty in her voice.
She walked towards the window and looked outside, it was a beautiful night, the skies filled with stars. She sighed and turned back to her.
"It was meant to happen...it was his time...pretty much if it weren't for what happened, the Angel of Death would've appeared and took him." she said as she waited for her response.

"His destiny was to be murdered after everything he has done?" she asked her voice rising, "What good does him dying do to anybody else's destiny? He deserved to live. He gave his all; risked his life time and time again to protect his family, good, the world and you're telling me that despite all that he didn't deserve better?" Liah was yelling now, "Destiny's change. You could have changed his! But instead you and the Elders and whoever else let him die! And for what? Tell me please! I would love to know what purpose his death served!" Her voice broke, "He didn't have to die."

Raine chose to wear faded blue denims and a dark green shirt hugging his body and let his necklace hung outside his shirt.
It was only after dark and it was perfect to ask Liah to go out and get something eat, or they can just lounge at her home and just call for pizza or something.
He arrived at the house knocking on the door but no one answered. "Hello? Liah? Anybody home?" he knocked again but still no one answered. He debated whether to teleport inside or just use his telekinesis to open the door. He decided to do the latter.
Opening the door he shouted, "Liah?! anybody home?!" he said walking towards the stairs. "Liah?!" he shouted expecting to get a response but was surpised when she heard her screaming. Alarms went off his head as he ran up towards the attic.
"Liah!" he shouted bursting inside the attic but instead of seeing her battling with a demon. She saw him arguing with the woman she saw at the park. "What's happening here?"

Minerva just stood there accepting her anger. This destiny thing is really tiring sometimes. They couldn't understand that some things have to happen, need to happen. It was really hard to be like this, she was always blamed for things that happen in people's lives. Yes, destiny was designed and planned for a person even before they were born, but it wasn't constant...it was erratic...always changing. The higher power gave her the ability to lay out destiny for all beings but he gave them far more power than she had. Free will, they had a choice...their destiny must've been already planned...but it was still their decision that mattered...
"I understand your grief...but I'm only saying what is true." she said gently "Haden lived a colorful life...he had his ups and downs and he's already fulfilled his purpose here on Earth... she said her voice trailing off not wanting to give anymore hint. Yes' she could have changed Haden's destiny...being the overseer she had the power...but it would upset the balance.
"You are also one of the reasons..." she said waiting for any reaction but none came so she continued. "You are very powerful Liah...you and your sister...it is very rare to have a priestess who can wield the four major elements and another who can wield the weather. But your father's presence is holding you back...keeping you from fulfilling your destiny." she told her.
"You had to stand on your own two feet, without anyone to cling on...you are entrusted a great responsibility in the upcoming battle and its pivotal that you ready yourself." she said as she paced the attic.
"And don't blame yourself for what happened...it was his time, your not to blame of whats happened." she finished wishing that what she said would suffice to calm her and help her move on.

"He was my father! He would have taught me to stand on my own!" she said, "How can you say that he was holding me back? He was the one who always pushed me forward! YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO KILL HIM!" she screamed. Tears began to ran down her face as she was forced to sit in the window sill before her knees gave way, "You didn't have to kill him." she repeated.

"Stop it! Can't you see? She's not ready yet...she will be ready soon but not now!" he shouted at the angel anger boiling inside of him.
When his dad died...he had to dwell on it on his own...and it took him full 3 months to recover...and there is this woman...forcing Liah to move on after just 3 weeks when his father died.
He went beside her and hugged her against his chest as he felt his shirt getting soak with her tears.

"Yes, he pushed you into being ready...but you depended on him too much. And now that he's gone your crumbling...letting your emotions get the best of you." she said ignoring Raine's outburst, she had to help her move on, for the final battle.
"You have a big responsibility Liah and you know to yourself that things happen for a reason. What's done is done, you can't fight it...cry on it, dwell on it but don't fight it." she finished with more emotion in her voice than she intended to.

She raised her head and looked past Raine. She just stared at the woman. She was right. Maybe her dad had known this too and had raised her for this moment. Her dad would want her to be strong, turn her pain into strength and push on. Is that not what he would've done? What he had done countless times? There was nothing she could do now but honor his memory by following his example and pressing on through it all.
"You're right," she said simply though it pained her to do so, "You're right...but that doesn't mean that I don't miss him and that it doesn't hurt."

Raine felt his anger die down as he heard Liah speak. Maybe this was really good for her. He looked at the Angel of Destiny and mouthed his thanks. Though he's still pretty pissed at her for doing this to Liah...in the end it still served it's purpose.
He looked at Liah and held her tighter to him. "Cry Liah, cry it all out...I'm here baby and I won't leave you... he whispered hugging him into her.

She nodded her head acknowledging Raine's appreciation. Finally someone thanks her...she knows her role is sometimes harsh because of the realities happening but appreciation was always welcomed.
"Now before I go...I am going to let you ask me any question...and I'm going to answer it no matter what." she said smiling at Liah. She deserved at least this before she orbed away.

She looked at the woman in suprise.
'Any question?' she thought to herself
A million different things were running through her mind. She decided not to ask about her father and just let things unfold so she decided to ask a question to which she kind of already knew the answer.
"Will the love between Raine and me endure?" she asked smiling then looking into his face.
