With a heavy sigh, Celeste Banks walked up the staircase leading to the Pryce manor. It was about seven c'clock in the evening, and she had just left the the office, where she had bent the better part of the day working on the article of Time Magazine. Right now, all she really wanted to do was relax, however as luck would have it, her roommate had decided this week she wanted to paint their appartment, which meant she was out of a place to stay for the next couple days. Luckily, she practically had her own room at the Pryce's.
Taking the spare key from under the flower pot, she opened the door and walked inside. "Hello..." she called, not knowing if anyone was home for sure or not. "Is anyone here?"

Jordan Pryce was never home. He always seemed to be a person active and on the go. But today, he was laying on the softness of his bed, cushioned with relaxation so that he could rest the muscles that he had overworked all week. Hearing the voice of someone, yet again, barging into the Residence, he sighed. He arose from his bed and pushed his door open, "Look, Aaron is..." He stopped, his eyes widened and realized who it was.
"Oh sorry, I thought it was Lauren...again!" He sighed, crawling down the stairs and jumped on the couch.

Glancing up, her own face visibly brightened at the sight of Jordan. God it was good to see him. Even if he wasn't in the best of moods, just him being around her always seemed to put her in a better mood, like some sort of security. She had compared him to a teddy bear once, but he hadn't exactly taken to the anology, so she had to take it back. Setting the key on the table, she shut the door and walked into the living room. "Sorry to disapoint," she said with a smirk. "Mandy is painting the appartment again, so I kind of need a place to crash for the next couple days. Is that okay?" Like she'd except "no" for an answer. As if.

Immediately, the television was no longer his interest. Having Celeste around the house was pleasurable, although he would never admit such from his own lip. He could remember the few times when he would send messages through Landon to her, and then he would simply play it off. Ugh, those were the days. He looked up, and turned to her as she stood waiting for a responsem,as if he'd say no. As if.
"Sure, you know you are always welcomed here." He smiled, a glow from his eyes showed the boost of happiness that suddenly overwhelmed him. "I mean, I can promise you the most boring weekend you would ever experience in all your life." He giggled quietly.

"Did you just giggle?" she pointed out with an arched brow and an amused smile. "Did my ears decieve me or did Jordan Pryce giggle like a little school girl?" she teased, sitting on the couch right next to him, elbowing him playfully in the abs. It had actually been a while since the two of them just got a chance to sit around like that. Granted, she didn't know how long Jordan would be home, but at the moment it was nice just getting some down time.
Sitting back, she let out a soft sigh before glancing around. It was unusually quiet there, especially for a house with three full grown men. "Is anyone else home? It's really quiet."

Jordan, slightly embarassed by her words, offered only a mere glance from the girl to his lap. Jordan was always comfortable around Celeste, the two practically grew up with each other and are most detailed in their experiences together. Unlike all the others, including his brothers, he trusts Celeste. Such is a trophy with Jordan as he usually is on lengthy tirades about the things that belong to him. However, today, he was home alone as his brothers were out---Landon with the normal business related stuff and Aaron, more than likely at the Times. "We are here alone, you know what they say when you are alone with your best friend." He joked as he returned her nudge.

Celeste frowned in curiosity at his comment, though a smile quickly followed. Truth be told, if there was anyone in the entire world Celeste felt safest with, it was by far Jordan Pryce. When they were kids, he was always there for her, being her protector, the guy who was always there to help whenever she needed it, like today for example. She needed a place to stay, and he was offering up his place without question. Not that he had much of a choice. But it was the thought that counts. "No Jordan... I don't," she questioned, turning around and laying on her back, her head resting in Jordan's lap while her legs hung over the couch. "What happens when you're alone with your best friend?"

Jordan, surprised by her reaction, simply cleared his throat. "Nothing." He said politely, placing his foot on the coffee table before switching on the television. "What do you want to watch?" He questioned nervously, switching the topic. Jordan and Celeste were best friends from as long as he could remember. He couldn't help it if he felt as though they could've been something just more than friends.

Celeste couldn't help but smile at his reaction. Again, she's known Jordan for as long as she could remember, therefore she knew what every single one of his little manerism meant. Turner her head to the television, she shrugged. "What time is it?" glancing at the clock, she smiled and took the remote from his hand. "Oh! Judge Judy is on," she said with a smirk, quickly changing the channel to her favorite reality court room show. Taking a deep breath, she set the remote on her stomach and glanced up at Jordan. "So how has work been for you lately? I've barely gotten to see you lately."

"Ugh, I can't take Law any longer!" He said at the mention of Judge Judy. He laid back, grabbing the pillow beside him and throwed it at Celeste, only to offer a small smile as he stared at the roof with a smile. "Work...tiresome. It takes up all of my time. I turned off my cellphone because of it!" He said as he shook his head.

Celeste couldn't help but laugh. "Isn't that a against Detective rules? What if someone get's whacked? Arn't you the guy they have to call to solve the case?" she teased, flipping through the channel before stopping on Oprah. She was sure he'd hate it, but at the moment she was purposely getting him worked up. "Remind me never to go to you to solve a murder case." For as long as she could remember, she always knewthat Jordan would end up in some branch of law enforcement. He was always the hero type, the kind of guy that seemed to work better fighting the good fight.

Hearing the television suddenly freeze and the sound of Winfrey echoing throughout the room, Jordan took his feet on the table, becoming alert. "Uh, no Celeste.No." He said jokingly, shaking his head to match his words. She was clearly trying to play mind games with him, as though he was to fall for her tactics of arguing with her---again! "Please, Pryce is famous in the U.S judiciary."

She couldn't help but laugh at his reaction, attempting to hold the remote out of his reach before turning the volume up. "but Dr. Phil is the guest!" she reasoned, refusing to change the channel just yet. Leave it to Jordan to bring out the kid in Celeste, to help her forget about any stress or troubles she had to deal with during the day. "Yeah... when Pryce actually answers the phone, instead of lounging on the couch watching Oprah Winfrey all afternoon."

Jordan, suddenly annoyed by the program, arose from his seat and attempted to disarm Celeste of the remote, reaching over her to get it. "Let's just make this easy, huh?" He said as he continued to struggle to get the remote from her hands, it being clutched tightly by her.

Celeste's head, which had been resting comfortably on Jordan's lap, quickly fell back on the couch when the man stood up. Clutching the remote tightly with one hand, she held out the other against Jordan's chest to keep him at bay. "No!" she yelled, though in all honesty it was more of a laugh. She definitely wasn't going to make this easy for him. Bringing up her legs, which ahd been hanging over the armrest in the opposite direction, she attempted to kick Jordan away, however she was at too much of an awkward angle. "Jordan!" she continued to giggle, fending the man off as best she could, though it didn't take a rocket scientist to know that the Jordan was great deal stronger than her, and if he tried, he'd be able to get the remote away.
