Alex shrugged his shoulders at the question, though he just thought it would be cool to sit on the roof. He decided to answer only onto they are on the roof so he led her straight to near the bathrooms, away from everyone so they won't see them, and then orbed out. Instantly they appeared on the roof itself. That was when he pulled away from her and shrugged his shoulders once more. "I don't know I thought it would be cool. I mean I also think the roof gives an awesome view of the city and stuff like that. You don't mind do you?"

"Well I suppose thats a good reason!" she said with a smile as she looked out towards the city. While alot of it was being rebuilt, there was still a few things stood from the old days. Perhaps however soon they would manage to restore this place to what it looked like it had once been, like she had seen in the picture books. She would then walk over to the ledge and have a seat. Dangling her feet she would ponder something silently for a moment before she looked back to Alex. "You know that there is a war going on...right?" she asked with a passive stare. "I was just sort of wondering what you thought about it, where you stood." she said as she went back to looking out at the city. He was a new friend, she didn't want him to be caught up in what was going but he just might have been simply by knowing her.

"I heard about it really but I am not sure if I am really part of it. I try not to. Besides I don't know which side would accept me since I am half demon and half whitelighter and witch. But being the demonic part isn't of by choice it was by birth since that was my uncle. I have seen some places where the last battle had taken place. It totally destroyed Alcatraz! And look at how this city is." He took in a deep sigh before adding, "sure wish I would know a spell that would restore everything but once you do you know it would once again be torn down."
