Haden was pacing the wall of magic school, these huge, silent, empty halls that weren't just the same after the wars ravaged this place and everyone say that Magic School wasn't the same again. But over time, the protection it once had was restored and strengthened and young witches, whitelighters even warlocks and others came back and learned to use their powers in an equally neutral manner but not many came as many parents and guardians still feared its vulnerability and still do even after centuries, but in time, things were changing, but that wasn't his concern, it was a concern, but not his, the other Elders would manage Magic School.
Today, Haden was here just for the sake of being here, to just kick back and relax in a quiet place where he could easily occupy himself and he found that place in the Headmaster's vast office, granted, there hasn't been a Headmaster in too long so it was basically an unoccupied office, one that had many comforts, like the large comfy chair behind the desk and the two small couches in the corner at right angles to each other, both facing windows that looked out into the clear blue sky with the periodic clouds floating on by. And as comfy as the Headmaster's char was, he headed over to one of the couches and dropped onto one, lying with his feet propped on one of the chair's arms, his head propped on two cushions, just gazing out the window.

Justin was a bit preoccupied with life lately. He had been caught up with so many things; his brake up with Max, his sons, and Magic. Today he had found himself in Magic School. The place he himself had lost to Becca. He had always regretted loosing Magic School, but he couldn't let this get in the way. But he knew that over time, Magic School would begin to heal and shift from Evil to Neutral. Justin hoped that he could help in that sense, to restore and preserve Magic School.
He was now in the Library of Magic School, looking at and for books. He had found several that were very old and dusty. He had accumulated, 'Ancient Arcane Words, Mystical Artifacts and Objects.' He gathered several more books in his arms and set off for the Headmaster's Office. He put on his glasses because he knew that the writing would be small and barely readable in the books. He walked into the Office not paying any attention to who or what was in the office. He had his nose in a book that rested on top of the pile.
Justin set the books down on the desk. The books made a loud thud, and it sent dust flying. He started the process of sneezing. 'Ah, ah, ah. Chooo!' A breeze picked up in the room and sent dust and papers flying. He blinked and the breeze died, the dust and paperwork settled. He walked around the desk and looked at the bookshelf that sat behind it. Justin rose into the air and began looking at the higher books and artifacts. Every now and them. he came upon a book or two of importance. He pulled them out and dropped them over his shoulder and onto the desk. He continued his search, not knowing that his friend sat in a couch behind him.

When he heard the loud sneeze, he sprung up from his slumber with his hands raised about to blast some sorry ass into non-existence but he held his fire...not like he was gonna anyway, especially knowing that the intruder was none other than his best friend and virtually older brother and he just had to sit up and smile and he did that for some five minutes ad he went completely unnoticed. watching as Justin went about his diligent search for some elusive book or books, because he had brought in a handful with him and left them on the desk, chances are he was looking for me. Haden always thought he was more interesting in the ancient texts but Justin exceeded him and his interest, and it was admirable, made him want to continue his studies after a quarter century break.
"You know.." Haden said suddenly, waiting to see him startle at his words and with that he smiled as he rose from his seat and approached the headmasters' and sat himself in it. "You should check out a room before you enter it. Never know who you might end up intruding...or who might sneak up on you." he said a she turned the chair to look at Justin with a clever little grin on his face. "I see you haven't given it a rest...still reading. I tell ya, you are probably the only one alive with this much knowledge of ancient magic...bet i could still rival you. But aside from that little challenge that you have to accept, how long have you continued reading and how come? Who not stay home and raise your family? You, Max and Colby and hopefully soon...the other." Haden said, quick not to mention the name, he didn't want to sadden his friend. "Why not take a break and have coffee." Haden said as he conjured to hot cups of coffee with milk and sugar. He reached forward and took the steaming cup and took a sip of the piping hot coffee. "Yeah...should have added cream instead."

"Ah!" Justin squealed as he got startled. He fell from his high perch with the shelf. He hit the ground with his but and fell back. "Ow." he said sitting up. A book slid from where he had pulled at and fell and hit him on the head. "Ow." He shook out the kink on his head. He got up and said, "I know I should but I was reading." He laughed and bent down to pick up the books. He stood up and placed them on the desk. "Probably." he smirked at his friend. "You would rival me at this, you do and I'm glad you do. Gives me a reason to keep going." He laughed and spoke after the awkward moment. "For the last thousand years, but it keeps me smart and on top of the game." He paused for a second and said, "Me and Max broke up." He looked at Haden and said, "You were right. I went in to fast without opening my eyes. I saw the real her, I haven't seen in a very long time."
Justin picked up his coffee and began to drink it. "Damn, you sure know how to conjure up good coffee!" He laughed and sat in the headmaster's chair. "I hope we can get this place, back to its former glory!" He stacked up the books, for reading.

"Yeah yeah...former glory, right.." Haden said, back tracking on what Justin has just told him. He and Max had broke up and that he was right about her...not the kind of words you'd like to hear from your best friend at all, it made Haden feel guilty for even saying that, but he had to look out for Justin just as how Justin had looked out for him in the past and in the future, he couldn't just let his best friend jump into something without testing the waters first too determine if this was right, or if it just didn't fit. "I'm...I'm sorry to hear that." He said to him, and he was, he actually thought Max had changed from the last time he remembered her but it seem that Justin saw otherwise in her, and he was taking his friend's side.
But aside from all of that, he had to know....well, he wanted to know why exactly he and Max had spilt. "So...when you say you saw the real deal in her, what do you mean? What did she do or say or whatever that caused a change in heart in you?" He asked as he set the cup down to conjure a cup of cream, some of which he poured into his cup before setting it in front of Justin's cup before taking another sip of his own up which had improved to his liking. He set it down then he sat back and looked ta Justin. "What happened between you two, the other day we were at the ball, the next...you're here and she isn't? How's your son by the way? Still handsome?" Haden asked, seriously sidetracking near the end.

"Well, I went to Valhalla, cause she invited me. We began to train and at the end of it, she began to steal life force from me." He smirked and continued. "So she began to overdue it, and her eyes turned black and she kept stealing it. So I stopped her." He poured some cream into his coffee and took a sip. "Then when I took her up to her room, she began to criticize how I fight. And she was showing off, with her powers to." He paused to take another sip and continued, "So I told her I wasn't ready to rush headfirst into a relationship. So I ended it and left." He laughed at Haden's look on his face. "Don't feel guilty, I should have tested the waters before I jumped into them." He rose an eyebrow to Haden's sidetracked mind. "He's great. Cuter than ever! Oh and he can make little fireworks. He can control light just like his Uncle Haden." Justin started laughing. He pulled out some more pictures of Colby and blew them over to Haden.

"Light? Really?" Haden asked as he gladly got off the topic of Max for his friend's sake, what's done was done, Justin would find someone else, someone better definitely, someone he could only dream about, but God made his dream come into a reality, and Justin deserved just the same. "I'm starting to think that the more I use that power, the more it goes into the universe and the more it shows up...and since I'm around little Colby so much, he's going to be a powerful one...I just hope he doesn't learn to use lightning..." Haden added, grinning at his friend. "I can only handle one of you...two of you would be just...shocking." he said a she got up from the chair with the cup of coffee in his hands, walking over to a book that had caught his eyes time and time again. It was a book that had a pale yellow cover but a couple centuries or more ago the cover would have shone with gold. He took it from it's place and returned to the desk, sitting down back in the chair, setting the book down and the coffee cup on top of it. "If he is photokinetic...he'll be able to handle things fine, but if he has solarkinesis...this could help. It is a theoretical book because until a century or so before you and I were born, they witnessed the first child who could manipulate the sun, and this book was written five thousand years ago...so i don't know how these authors got their knowledge, but it seems pretty accurate so far, it works for em every time i open this book and learn something else. Ill see if I can replicate it, renew it and give it to Colby when his birthday comes around." Haden said as he took another sip of his tea. "Speaking of sons...how is the other one? Been to visit him?"

Justin laughed at his friends joke. "I think he can, I haven't really observed them fully, yet. Thanks. He'll love it!" He began rummaging through the books again. "I haven't, but thats why I'm here. To see if I can find a way to turn him back, like when I turned you. But it won't be that easy. He was touched by an evil goddess. So its gonna take one hell of a spell or two to change him back."

Haden looked at Justin carefully. Talking about his first son Haden was something he heard Justin talk about on rare occasions, of course he could get Justin to talk about anything and vice verse, no secrets between at all. It was a sore topic, Justin's son was a good by, but his twisted aunt got to him, messed everything up, and Justin had to do the unfortunate, he had to do what no father should ever do, he locked away his son, not in a cell or anything...in fact, Haden didn't know, Justin never revealed the personal details of what happened that day, and Haden didn't bother to ask, he knew that it must have been harsh to do, sealing away a son...Haden himself had to seal his own son in a coffin when he lost Vince and it was the saddest thing he ever had to do, but the difference was, his son had moved on, Justin's...he was waiting to be freed, when that time would be...unknown, it was up to Justin.
"I'm sure you can come up with a spell to get him back...you got me back...but then again, you beat the shit out of me so I guess that doesn't count, but still...your magic is stronger than mine, you could write a kick-ass spell and do the deed, and you will...it might take some time for you to do it, but eventually...it'll happen." Haden said to him trying to end the conversation right there and then but he had grown curious about what had happened, just by thinking of it made him curious, a fate he usually fell prey to and far to many times at that and he needed to ask or it was going to eat at him. He took up his cup, took a sip and set it back down again beside the book. "Justin...what happened that day you went after Haden." He said, feeling kinda weird saying his own name and in that exact sentence but he went on. "What happened? What did he do and what did you do...to him that is."

Ten centuries and a score ago, Aiden Black-Density first scrolled down the halls of this very Magic School. He remembered it ever so clearly, it was a bright and sunny day and he had decided to go to the place where he was told the very future of Good Magic was. Little that he knew, when he was eavesdropping, was that they were speaking about an entire Institution. It was from that day that Aiden learnt that being in the classroom was not so bad, and going to the University of San Francisco proved him right. It was there that he met Rabecca for the first time with her wild streaked hair and her pompous attitude. If only he had known that it was destiny herself that had caused him to meet her at an institution. He learnt that learning never ends, even if you are the teacher.
As he scrolled down the halls leading to the Headmaster's office, he could see the signs of the invasion that had hit this place so long ago. Which, evidently, caused this place to remain neutral rather than a Good Sanctuary. This was good afterall, even if there was no Headmaster or someone who would control the general running. But it wasn't all that necessary, as classes were little and people usually came simply to train than to learn. His big black boots pounded the properly glossed floor of the brown tiles, his fingers running down the tan walls that were, in some areas, cracked. He hissed, as he reached the door labelled 'Headmaster.'
Without knocking or concern for who was inside, Aiden blasted the knob from the door and pushed the door open. He walked in the room and then was surprised to see that two familiar faces laid in the room like dead cockroaches after being stumped by his feet. "Well well, say it isn't the marvellous Brokeback cowboys!" Aiden hissed, standing in the frame of the door. [/color][/blockquote]

"Please. We are equal!" He said laughing. He took a long sip of coffee and then set it down. "Well, it was a thousand or so years ago and we; Emma and me were about to turn in for the night, but I received an urgent message from a nymph, actually she popped into the bedroom. She told me that the forest was under attack. Emma told me to go without her, so I left. I saved the forest and the nymphs, and when I came back..." Justin trailed off for a minute. "Haden was standing in the bedroom and she was laying in the bed, a big thorn was poking out of her chest. Haden turned to me and smiled at me. He teleported out of my room and went back to Isis' hideout in France. So I went to the top of the Golden Gate Bridge and I began to search for them. I moved at least all of the air currents so I could track them. It only took me an hour to find them. I teleported to that cave and saw them celebrating the death of Haden's mother. That had fully completed his transformation to Evil." He took another sip of coffee and set it down. "I cast a very powerful spell, one that I don't ever want to use again. I created a temporal stasis field, I froze them in time. I left the cave, but before I came back to San Francisco, I cast several protection spells, so that no witch, mortal, demon, or elder could ever find that cave, until I remove those spells."

Haden looked sadly to Justin when he retold that story which truly was epic on an emotional level. He never knew that Justin's son would do such a thing...I mean, that boy should have know better, he should have feared his father and what his father could have done before he sided with Isis, gawd... "I'm sorry about Emma...I know you loved her, and she really loved you, she had to. I"m just so sorry dude that it had to happen and that your son." Haden went silent, just looking at the dude, then eh sighed and sat back in the chair. "When you're ready, I'll come and help you out with those two. I'll take care of Isis...I'll more than take care of her, and you...you'll get your son back, the good one, ok...don't sweat it, all in due time." He said.
Haden looked around when he heard the voice and his eyes instantly narrowed. Him again. The man who had so rudely disrupted what he wanted to be a quiet retreat, poisoning something so pure with the toxin that he is. The thing is, Haden didn't even bother to get up or pay that much attention into keeping himself armed against a prick like him, a smart-mouthed ass who just need a kick up the seat of his pants to set him straight. Haden looked at him with a calm look then he reached for his cup, took a sip then he set it back down, conjuring another on the other side of the desk in offer to him and he did so expressionlessly because he would sooner spike his tea, if he decided to drink it, that act as if Aiden was a good guy...sorry, still a good guy. He was lost and he couldn't ever be found, case closed. He didn't care how Justin looked at it, after that moment in the church, he wanted to rip the hairs off his chin and punch his ass into hell.
"Yeah that's funny." Haden said as he held his hand out to allow a book to fly into his hand. It wasn't directed at any specific book, it was just a random gesture and it reaped something nice, incidentally, it's a book on Vanquishing. "I always thought this room catered to the needs of the occupant or occupants." He said to Justin as he searched through the book trying to pretend Aiden just wasn't there but with that stench of evil that actually manifested into an actually scent when Aiden was close, how could he. "Don't you have someone or something else to breed? Or do you use your children for that?"

"Thanks man! I really appreciate it!" He smiled at his friend but frowned when he heard the strut of a familiar person. "Aiden is here." he said moments before he blasted the door open. He looked up at Aiden and remembered that he was a friend, a lost friend, but he knew that he would never be found. "How funny! Did you come up with that yourself?!" He was ready to attack if need be. He looked at Haden and said, "I've found that to be true as well!"

They were like two fruits on the same tree; except one was spoilt and rotten whilst the other was all looks with no substance. Aiden, walking profoundly into the room stopped at the bookshelf after noticing a book fly from it by Haden’s manipulation. He could tell that he interrupted something intimate and so he was a tidbit sorry for catching the boys in the act. He smirked, turning to them both as he placed his hand on his chin listening to the boy’s insults that made him want to squeal.
”Well, Haden,” Aiden stated with an evil laugh as he walked a bit closer towards the table with the conjured coffee, ”Unlike you, Justin and I actually have children that are well and alive. I wonder what ever happened to yours?” Aiden stated as he raised his eyebrows, knowing very well what had happened to Haden’s children. In fact, the story couldn’t have been more real to him. It was like, like he was actually there.
”As for you Mr. Evans, I’d be worrying about the importance of getting the weather forecast out for tomorrow, something tells me a storm is coming. What use are you sitting here with coffee lips?” Aiden stated with a laugh, walking pass both men to now stand in the farthest corner of the room. ”I suppose you two are here to talk about the future of Magic School?”

Justin jumped up out of the chair, his eyes glowing white, and wind whipping around the room. "I'll tell you what the weather will be like!" He paused and blinked, his eyes back to normal, the wind subsided. "You know what, Aiden. Your not worth it!" He sat back down and looked to Haden, trying to make sure he was alright.
