As he was near the exit, he had felt the sting of a would pierce him in his shoulder, causing him to fall to his knees with the girl on his other shoulder. Jordan allowed a loud scream to curse the air as he saw blood draining down his shirt. Jordan, hoever, realized that if he was to stop now they both would be dead. With this thought in mind, Jordan crawled out from his fall, collapsing soon after he left the room of which this man was in.

He had seen the scare tactic for what it was, as he stood in the center of the room and facing the thing. He was piercing into this beings mind, trying his hardest to ensure that every single person was given ample opportunity to escape, well, most at least. He then took a step towards the being, he had never been more afraid to walk up to something ever in his life, the life which included great disappointment, great fights and love and worse, which included him failing.
This brought him to his past as a whitelighter. He was on assignment to ensure that his charge was safe from the hands of the source’s men. But he was too much into himself then, thinking that his charge was strong and could handle it as he was fulfilling other duties. It was on that day that his charge was killed, incinerated and banished from the face of the earth. Thus, it made him undetectable and having him a future that was cut short by death. It was those moments of failure that made the Head Elder push on. He wanted to ensure that his selfish past was not his future.
He waved his hands and sent the risen tiles flying into the walls, thus, showing his power. He didn’t know if this was such a good idea, but he was stalling, trying to ensure that this thing didn’t get further than he already was.

He was annoyed with the man’s antics, causing him a whirlwind of anger. It was clear that this man had no idea whom he was, that his essence was something far greater than what was rooted in good and evil magic, that his moves alone were capable of overthrowing the grand design. The Elder was pathetic, he didn’t understand why he hadn’t joined the other cowards in escaping, no running away. With a blink of his eyes, the room was once again ushered in darkness with a stench that was of the same as before. Then, the floors were set aflame as his anger was beginning to show in his vast power. It was this similar power that had caused the mighty strife in the heavens and caused whitelighters to find escape without trying. How cowardly!
He refused to step up to the elder any further; instead, he waved his hands and drew a sharpened tile form the wall and sent it flying towards the elder’s chest. If he wanted to be the one to absorb the pains of the magical community, then so be it! [/blockquote]

The sudden darkness had sent the Head Elder into confusion. Further, the stench had caused him want to escape. It was the scent of burnt flesh, rotted over thousands of years that had resurrected. It was a clear attack against his endurance and he hadn’t known how much longer he would’ve been able to stand. Upon the lights returning on, he had noticed that much of the people had left, and hating to be a Utilitarian, The Elder knew it was time for him to escape.
As soon as he was about to orb away, he felt his feet afire, causing his to levitate into the air, but only to be hit by a broken and edged tile that caused him to be knocked out of the air and against the opposite wall. Hitting the wall on his shoulders the Head Elder allowed a scream to escape his lips. He fell to the burning ground and felt himself becoming weaker against the beings power. For some reason that stench was draining him, making him much weaker and more confused than he normally was.

Seeing that he had had the man, he was suddenly pleased, boasting at the fact that even the Head Elder’s power had fallen weak. It was unfortunate, that even now the power of an Elder had fallen into the depths of weakness. Elders were truly now losing their glory. They were suppose to be beings well respected by all, being being able to foresee what was to come, but their pathetic stance in the magical community now made them unworthy of respect.
He moved closer to the man, focusing on him his shadows moved against the wall raising their hands, summoning a huge sword that the being now held in his own hands. He looked at it, seeing a reflection of himself in it. He saw his dark fiery eyes with his eyebrows that extended way beyond the coated veil that covered his darkened face. His teeth were long and protruding with his beard extending beyond the darkened and wet coat that covered his form. His face, however, remained hidden from weak eyes, only being able to be seen by those that had seen death before. But to others, they were only able to see a darkened image that hunted one in the night.
He lifted up the sword in his hands and surrounding it with the elders own power he was preparing to drive the sword down the spine of the head Elder. [/blockquote]

Haden felt that nerve-wrecking chill that he had felt earlier, that same chill that he's felt for the passed few weeks and with the appearance of this guy...everything he said to Aiden, everything he wanted to say to Aiden everything that had happened that evening became so very insignificant, not to mention, that starling feeling of being enveloped in darkness and that stench...that God-forbidden stench that seemed to reach through his nostrils and grip his lungs, squeezing all the precious air he had left out of him and it didn't seem to want to stop. He clutched his chest and coughed and took a slight breath, the bit of it that he had taken in was strong enough to strangle a horse.
He looked at this...thing, then he turned to Justin then he turned and held his hand out to Keri and orbed her home. She'd be safe there, she'd get better...and she'd be safe. He then turned and looked at this guy and he was about to race forward but the floor tiles flew up in front of him and he had to so a bit of maneuvering so he could avoid those below him so he could remain steady on the concrete floor, but still, he couldn't do much because there were tiles everywhere, floating hazardously and they could just as easily become weapons but Omni took care of those...good thing to...well, that was until Omni was taken down...and now, everyone should be truly fearful, because before he got stabbed by the tile...he was getting out of this place and that seemed an idea all to perfect but he couldn't leave Omni here. He looked at the creature, then he raised his hands and all the tiles pinned into the walls were plucked out, he clenched his fists and they bent and elongated into thick, very pointed, very sharp spikes that he sent hurtling towards this freak of death, then he ran to Omni, grabbed him and headed for the exit, closing the door behind him and he made sure that this guy would have some issues getting through.
"I forbid you to get through, The way out you will never know. This secrete password you'll wish you know, Know this now, there's no where else to go."
He recited, and with that, the door and all the other exits were locked immediately. Hopefully everyone had got out, they should have, they were ordered to get out...no one was foolish enough to remain in there, but yet, he was kind of hoping Aiden felt a streak of courage at that moment. He rested Omni on the ground, pulled the tile out and he placed his hand over his wound to heal him. "Come on...come on...come on..." He whispered as this bit of healing went on unusually too long. "Come on and get up? You want Hariette to become the Head Elder? That's worse than hell on earth." Haden said, hoping to make some amusement in this situation, praying that he would hear him and give some sort of smirk before he got to his feet and all the while, he was still coughing from the stench that followed them out and his coughs were getting worse and worse...maybe he shouldn't have inhaled.
