"Nah it's okay. Sorry I was worried like how a brother would. You know? But I'm sure she is okay. I'm like that if I have friends. I even was worried for another friend of mine who was so close to me and knows about my powers. Though I miss him since well he died thousand of years ago. But he did live a good life, well what I heard from his descendent Amanda."
Alex rose an eyebrow when Khoua started to talk to a woman over the phone. He wondered what is going on? Then he kind of knew. His brother did the same thing. "Yeah I mean if they get married that is." Which is a true thing of course but knowing her she probably did. "Great, you too? I mean hell my brother is trying to set me up. I don't know about it so I have to decline. I'm not really into the surprise dates stuff. But why not you try it out?"

"..admirable."
The word spoken slowly, Khoua's eyes would shift down towards the counter slowly. He was proud of this one, Alex, who seemed to be on the right path to becoming what he was meant to be. It seemed that every time they spoke Khoua found something more and more within this man. "Thats always the hard part.. watching your friends pass on while you'll live forever.." he said slowly as he stared at the counter. He knew what it was like to love someone who aged normally, only to be heart broken as she died of disease. A soft sigh issued forth from his lips, this was perhaps the reason why he would casually date and sleep with women.. but never grow close to them.
"Then, perhaps it's a good thing."
He would look up slowly with a tiny smile on his face. Alex's brother was trying to find him someone to love, which by all standards was a very sweet gesture. It was not a matter of finding someone however, but more along the lines a matter of getting Alex to loosen up and have some fun. Socialization was a great way to get out there in the world, experiance new things. "Aww, come on. It's not like you have to marry them, unless you'd rather I found a.. guy?" he asked slowly.

Alex had to chuckle and realize that this guy is so like his brother. Its a shame he's not bi he would've definately hooked him up with his brother instantly but then Ashe would kick his butt when he is trying to set him up. Alex shook his head. "No I mean its just I know you both care about me but come on if I wanna go on a date or even go out, I could do it on my own. I mean I had Ashe constantly asked me and setting up dates."

"..suppose so."
He would say as he yawned. Once more the usual group of girls would walk by giggling loudly. Khoua's eyes would follow them slowly before resting once more on his charge. "Fine, I'll back off.. a little." he said with a wink as he stood up suddenly. "So to the mountain then?" he asked with a smirk, not really giving Alex time to answer. Grabbing his hand, he would pull him off towards an alley, where they would now orb. Only moments later the orbs would gather upon a slightly high up sumit, the two over looking the country. "Welcome, to Mount Fuji!"

Alex was going to answer when suddenly his whitelighter took him to an alleyway and orbed them out to right on top of Mount Fuji. His eyes grew wide and a gasp escaped from his lips. "Oh wow!" he exclaimed and looked around them. "This is incredible!" Alex took out his camera he had in his back pocket and snapped a photo of the view, which had to be taken of. Then he turned and grinned. "Say cheese," he said. He snapped a pic of his whitelighter then leaned close to him and snapped another of the pair then stuffed the camera back in his pocket once more. "I just had to take the pics. I can't wait to show them to Ashe."

"..heh."
He was quite glad that at least his charge was able to have fun with this. The mountain view was spectacular, one that only a magical being would ever be able to see which was a shame. So many humans down there were unable to experiance the true wonders due to their ignorance and lack of understanding. It was just then that he would come back to reality, Alex having said something. Before he could protest, the picture was already taken. Khoua grumbled slightly, before putting a smirk on his face. "Well that was rather.. sudden. Could have warned me." he said with a laugh as he was rather image concious, most Japanese people were. "Im glad you like it up here, many don't get to see this. I wish people had more of an open mind sometimes, then we could all truly see the world for what it was.." he said slowly as he seemed to slip into even more of a daze.
"So why did you decide to come to Japan, alone I might add? Why didn't you and your brother travel together?"

"Oh sorry," Alex answered with a chuckle afterwards, "I'll warn you next time. Um to answer your question, he's back in the states for work and couldn't be able to come. Plus he said I should travel around and if I need him I could orb to him or give him a call. Besides I might even tell him about this place and invite him next time."

"..I see."
A slow, simple statement that escaped his lips in an almost emotionless, boring tone. His mind was elsewhere at this point, thinking about a certain someone that had recently come to mind. His father lived somewhere here in Tokyo, and he had a nagging desire to meet him. From what his mother had told him, he was a very flighty guy, one that could not be truly depended on so he would be better off never knowing the guy. However, inside was a child burning to know his father, especially when he was so close.
"What was your father like, Alex?"

"My father? Well, what I know of him was he was very fearless, and independent. He was a laid back kind of guy and I loved him so much. I was crying so much when he died. Despite that he was a witch/demon, he was like me. He never used his demonic powers for bad like our uncle did, but for good. What about yours, Khoua?" Alex sat down on a nearby rock, his brown eyes focused on his whitelighter. "What was your dad like? And is he still around?"

"..sounds like an amazing guy."
He said slowly as he thought about what was said. Having someone like that in your life sounded like it was an amazing experiance, something he wished he could have had for himself. It wasn't that having his mother wasn't enough, it was just that he felt that he was being robbed by never knowing his father. "I rarely ever use offensive powers myself. There is no reason for them most of the time, I really wish they didn't exist so they couldn't be used against humanity.." he said slowly as he frowned. Despite what he was, he was still perhaps one of the purest people alive, always doing what he thought was right for the good of the mortals with his powers.
"I never knew my Father. He lives here somewhere in Tokyo, I've seen him once or twice in the streets.. but I've never spoken to him."

Alex nodded. "He was." He felt bad to just say about his father like that when this poor man didn't get to know his but well at least he would know what his father was like. If only his uncle had stayed good. He wondered if his uncle would've gotten married and such and had kids if he stayed good. If so, he would've had a cousin or so right about now. "Yeah, I don't use mine until you know if I really have to. Like a demon attack or something." When he spoke that he saw his father, Alex tilted his head to the left. "Really?" he got up and headed to his whitelighter then clasped onto his hand. With that he gently pressed his lips against his cheek and pulled away. "You know if or when you decide to see your father, I'll be there with you if you want." And its the truth.

"..I normally won't even use mine then. Unless it's threatening an innocent, or else I just dodge and flee."
He would shrug lightly at this, that was pretty much his strategy. He was a pacifist, so he could never truly use something offensive against someone even if they were evil. Harming things went against his moral code. "Well Im glad you show self restraint, evil seems to run deep within your family thanks to your uncle. Even if you don't give in to it, you have been tainted by the sight of it." he said slowly. It was perhaps true in a way, that just by witnessing it and the feelings behind it, evil could exist somewhere deep down within Alex. "If you ever feel something within you.. something wrong, do not give in." he said sternly as he watched Alex get up and come over.
His charge would take his hand, pressing his lips gently against Khoua's cheek. Being just as vain as most of his people, his first instinct was to reprimand Alex for not gaining permission, however he would not do so, it would be the rude Japanese blood boiling over. "I suppose I wouldn't mind that." he said slowly. He would not want to appear weak, so the choice was still up in the air at the time being.

"I won't. I never do. There was once my uncle tried to have us turn evil. He would throw hints or what not but we ignored them. We just went on with our lives and it was I who suggested we had to stop him. I didn't want to but we had no choice. He kept on killing innocents and even had personally killed some of our own family members." He sighed. "I wonder if it would have been different if he wasn't evil." Alex gasped when he had kissed him on the cheek and blushed. He never did that though, and thank god he didn't kiss him on the lips. "Sorry, but hey at least it wasn't on the lips right? But whenever you want to I'll be there with you."

"..good. I'd never want to have to vanquish you.."
Khoua had grown a bit tired now, his tone sluggish. Perhaps it was the lesser amounts of oxygen coupled with the temperature of the high mountain peaks. With a yawn he would turn to Alex, wondering just what was going through his head right now. It was hard to have someone you know become evil, betraying the trust you grew up putting in them. Never having personally felt it, Khoua was left only to be able to guess what it was like. "Never spend your life wondering what if. By the time you finish, you'll miss everything that could have been." said Khoua with a smile, taking Alex's hand gently. "Trust me, this is the one thing I do know." he said with a smirk. Khoua's hands would glow suddenly, healing the slight case of frost bite that was starting to creep up.
"We should probably leave here soon, before we're consumed by the cold. I don't know about you, but I'd rather not be a popsicle." he said with a laugh. Just then, he would recieve a jingle, however it was not truly that important.

"Yeah and that wouldn't be good," Alex first pinpointed out, but he didn't want to end up like that. Thank God he ignored his uncle. Besides, Alex, evil? Nah. He never really would turn evil even if he would, he would rather just turn on his own timing, not by anyone not even by family if likely. Alex could tell the guy was tired, mainly from the sound of the voice. He nodded his head. "I'll remember that," Alex added, even when the man grabbed onto his hand. He had begun to get cold and when his whitelighter healed his hand, he continued to smile. "Yep I agree. So if so where to? I mean you pick the place."
