Vanjensa soon found herself bored out of her mind. She had grown way to tired of her same ole routine. She decided to just go for a nice walk. A walk to clear her cramped mind, thoughts, and just relax. She gathered her clothing for it was a bit chilly outside. Vanjensa found herself walking in the snow. She heard the loud crunch of her weight under her heavy shoes. She looked around and sighed for her thoughts began to sore and she just almost felt helpless. Such thoughts that would make the smartest man in the world's head hurt with frustration. She tried to shake the thoughts for she was having a splendid time just taking in the beauty that surrounded her.
She noticed how the sun ever so slightly peeked out from behind a mass of clouds. Almost like a small child hiding in a game. She smirked the thought aside as an ever so chilly breeze swept past her already shaking body. This breeze sent a chill up her back. Vanjensa laughed at this for she had not seen snow in a very long time. She had longed to just play in the snow. She looked around not seeing a soul but she was to frightened. She thought someone might find her silly or even childish. Vanjensa just kept her slow and relaxing pace in the forest.
She heard some twigs snap at the feel of her weight. Vanjensa tried to be as silent as possible because one never knows what lurks around the corner. She smiled as she looked at a pair of birds. They seemed to talk to one another as if a human would to another. She laughed a bit as it seemed they were a true pair. She smiled as they seemed to sing as she walked. Such a tune that would make any mortal or immortal smile. Vanjensa suddenly heard aloud cracking noise. She jumped what seemed ten feet. She looked around taking in all that surrounded her.
Vanjensa looked up as this huge tree began to fall. She stooped dead in her tracks as the tree with it's might hit the ground before her. She was breathing heard by now. Smoke seemed to come from her mouth as her warm air it the cold. She put her had over her heart as she was not prepared for such an event. Vanjensa didn't even have time to use her powers for this was not expected. It was as if time froze for a moment in her mind. Vanjensa fell to her knees as she tried to catch her breath.
She placed a hand on the tree. Such a lovely tree why would this poor tree fall? She soon found out that it was not nourished enough by mother earth. She sighed as she was now calm. She got to her feet and kept on her journey. Now she was on her guard more than ever. Maybe that tree falling was a sign of what is to come she thought to herself. She continued walking as she noticed nothing near her. She just relaxed and began to think of what is going on. She needed to get back and practice her magic.
She turned to start back. The sun decided to come out once more. She looked over her shadow as prominent as she walked. Vanjensa smiled as she felt good after walking. Her mind was now clear and her thoughts were still numerous but who doesn't have many thoughts? She kept walking as she felt a sharp pain go up her arm. She looked around and not a soul was there. She kept walking but her arm was in much pain. She didn't stop to look. She soon forgot about her arm as she kept walking.
Vanjensa looked around. She didn't know where to turn. She was lost. She couldn't remember where she started from. Footsteps where everywhere so it was hard to find her way back out. She stopped her thoughts and movement as she tried to find her way out. She closed her eyes and nothing was coming. Was this a moment of weakness? She didn't know but she was determined to find her way out. She started to walk northerly. She heard a noise close to her but was not afraid. She soon heard large footsteps. She stopped and turned to face the direction of the noise. "Hello.......who is there?"
