Becca had been practicing her shape shifting once again on the other side of the cemetery near the trees. She padded on wolven paws through the tomb stones her philosophy book tied to her back. She lifted her head blue eyes glistening she flared her nostrils and walked up to the grave the door was missing, a low growl rolled from her furred throat as she quickly ran into the tomb. Her blue eyes blanked as she stared at the destroyed coffin a howl that soon turned into a shriek of pure rage spilled from her shifting lips as she was once again magically in her humanoid body.
Her back pressed to the cool stone her philosophy book dangling down her side from the broken strings. She slide down to her hips her plaid skirt flaring around her thighs, She drew in a sharp breath as tears built in her eyes, she'd failed to protect him. After all he'd done for her...She started hyperventilating, how could she not have heard....she was so stupid to stay with Tara now she'd have to spend her time trying to find him and once his body was back she'd have to be ever vigilant in her guard.
She gripped the tight fabric of her white button up shirt as her blonde hair fell around her face hiding her tear stricken features. She bit into her black painted lips, luckily her eye liner was water proof and didn't run. She wore loose knee socks with white Nike's. She shook her head hugging her philosophy book tighter to her chest as she felt the night fading away to make way for the day.

Dawn was fast approaching and Rayn had no better place to rest than his tomb, perhaps it was a bit weird, but it wasn't the first time he had taken shelter in a grave. Entering the cemtery, his ears caught the howl of a wolf that soon shifted into a scream of a woman. A fine brow began to perk, yet he didn't hurry himself towards his tomb, in fact, he moved casually towards the door. He was dead, there was no hurry at all and dawn wasn't for another few hours, luckily. Letting his boots crunch the grass, his legs carried him up to the door of his tomb where he saw Rabecca crying beside his coffin. Leaning against the doorway, he rested his head against it and merely stared at her with his chocolate orbs while his black locks waved down his shoulder. She hadn't aged a single day since he last saw her and her beauty still radiated, shining the dull tomb like she always had in Mash's eyes. Sliding his hands into the pockets of his black coat, he tapped his boots against the cement as if to get her attention.
Smiling softly, his pale lips parted as he spoke softly, "Did you lose something?" the question passed his lips so casually, almost as if he had never died all those years ago. There was little doubt that Rabecca would be confused on what was going on, perhaps even a little scared, but that didn't matter to him right now. Dropping his eyes from her face, he noticed the book wrapped within her arms and he gave a faint laugh, "All this time and you still have that book and it looks as if it hasn't aged a day, just like yourself." Raising a bright smile, his eyes stared down at her until a soft meow entered the air, Acoliss sneaking in behind Mashadar, moving between his legs and the doorway of the tomb. Acoliss didn't seem to care about his master right now as he moved towards Becca, someone he hasn't been with for a long time, but he had been watching her for all the centuries Mashadar had been 'dead'.

Becca felt the chill of another body disrupting the air of 'her' cemetery. She hid a knife between the pages of the philosophy book and resumed her position of the woefully be grieved female. She tensed as a voice she had not heard in centuries spilled through the air and glided into her ears. Her muscles had become to cramp with how tense she'd been as she slowly uncurled her legs from her chest and shifted her hair from her face so that she could see the face of the man she had been so madly in love with so long ago.
"Rapheal...You...you can't be.." her voice was breathy as she climbed to her feet, the shock making her forget her grace. She looked down at her book as a small smile shifted her lips. She gently put the book down and moved through the early morning mist towards him. She felt the soft fur of the small beast as it wound around her legs mewling happily. She stepped over it, she'd get back to it later.
She finished her easy stride towards him and swung her hand out slapping him hard and resting her hands on her waist. "That is for years and years of grief! Why are you alive Rapheal tell me what has happened! Vous faire sait ce que vous accentue m'a mis par?!"Do you know what stress you have put me through?!

It was perhaps a good thing to finally see her again, alive in all things, and seeing her smile again was yet another luxury he had never had in centuries. Of course, his dreams in torpid were all about her, but it wasn't good, they were nightmares of watching her grow old and die over and over again. That was also the reason behind his faked death and him going into slumber, to save himself from having her die in his arms like all the others. When she spoke, he gave a faint smile and a shrug of his shoulders, yet said not a word as he watched her stand and move closer. Half expecting a hug, the sting across his cheek wasn't fully expected as he found himself staring at the wall. Adjusting his jaw, he rose his hand and rubbed his cheek as his eyes moved to look back at her. Words spilled from her mouth, clearly in anger that he was in fact alive and he gave a faint laugh before replying, "Don't blame me, I thought you were mortal, so I set up my own death so I wouldn't have to go through losing you. And believe me, I know the stress I put you through," he paused as his mind idly drifted before quickly coming back, "I've watched many of those I loved wither and die, so if anyone knows the stress and grief of losing the one you love, its me, I have had thousands of years of practice too," there was no point hiding it now, she clearly knew, "But here's a question for you, did you ever not take my blood to add to your little book? It would have told you everything, I almost feared you would do it too, but it was a risk I was willing to take," he stated softly. Staring into her eyes, his own didn't blink at all and they didn't even water up like everyone else's would at this point. "I'm not human, my dear, I'm a four thousand year old vampire," he openly admitted to her, "Doubt me," he mused as he rose his arm, "Find out for youself."

Becca threw up the book it opened automatically. Her and the book were in fact one, it read her thoughts and did as she requested. The pages spun wildly before it stopped on the page all about him. "I know. I don't care I still protected your tomb." In fact after she'd found out he was a vampire it had urked her as to how he had truly died. She had gotten herself hurt very badly after wards and the being that did it offered her eternal life, she had stupidly turned him down but he would not take no for an answer and had infected her.
She shuddered rubbing her arms as if she were cold, just thinking of him the book had turned to a page about the very monster. She swiftly slammed the book shut the latches falling into place. She shook her head hiding half of her face behind a sheen of blonde hair. "I was always here Rapheal...or have you changed your name again?" She softly, she sounded so hurt so alone. He had left her, she had begged the God's for death, cried to whoever was up there listening to take her to the place he had gone.
She had suffered so much after his death binding herself to his grave, killing any and all thing that tried to disturb his resting place. So much blood had been split here, and she had slept in the same tomb for years giving up on the world outside, thinking it was horrible to abandon him when she'd promised to protect him for the rest of her very long life.
She'd allowed her rise in power, being with Scott and moving in with Tara to distract her, she mentally cursed herself for her stupidity. He had awoken while she had been with Tara she knew it, she sighed heavily and the sound flitted through the cold tiny room echoing magically, she had learned to control her voice to get her what she wanted. She gave him her best innocent shimmering tearful eyes her eyes telling of the immense pain she'd suffered keeping his place of rest safe.

Finding out that she protected his tomb, even after finding out what he was, he was oddly relieved as his arm fell back to rest by his side. Staring down at the book, he scolded softly as his real name stood upon the page in big bold letters. A pure shudder ran down his spine and than he lifted his gaze once again to stare at her, uncaring for the monster that arose on her book before she slammed it shut. Sliding closer to her, he rose his right hand and rested it upon her cheek, "Rapheal is dead, you saw his body and you protected his grave, the person before you is eternal and his name is Mashadar, but he is no different than the man you loved centuries ago," he said softly to her, "but for my new mortal name, the main one is Rayn Chaput." She was perhaps his biggest weakness, specially since she was back, even though his memories of her were blurred, his feelings for her weren't.
Suddenly, Mashadar became slightly distracted as his body turned to face the doorway and a hiss rippled off his lips, "Daylight is coming," he hissed softly than in mere seconds, the door moved from the ground in front of the tomb and slammed back into place in the doorway. Mashadar stood directly in front of it as he finished putting in the final hinge. Stepping away, he turned to stare back at Becca and he gave a faint smile, "Now, do tell, what have you been up to since my death, and spare me the suffering you went through, I've had enough in my life thus far," he said, his words holding only a tinge of coldness, but he always looked after himself before others...perhaps another thing bad about him.

"Bâtard ingrat" she hissed under her breath efore quietly mounting the small shelf that lined the tomb and crossing one leg over the other. "It's to long a story to tell....I'll let you borrow the philosophy book you can read it at your own leisure." She said quietly, she really didn't want him finding out about Scott or Aiden, she couldn't tell him yet. She seemed distracted suddenly feeling the sun rising just beyond the cold walls.
She felt Acoliss jump into her lap and smiled as she ran her fingers through the cats course furr and hugged it to her chest. "I've missed you dearly...la luz de mi vida." She said quietly at the end, she'd have to get used to calling him something other than Rapheal now so she resorted to the soft pet name she'd given him so long ago. In english it most nearly translated to the light of her life.

Listening to her curse at him, he gave a soft smile and looked over at her, "And thank you for being my gaurdian angel while I slept and also thanks for knowing just what I love to be called," he added with a soft laugh. There was little she could do to piss him off, in fact he rather enjoyed her spurts of anger, they were sometimes oddly arousing for Mash. Slowly moving towards his coffin, he stared at the broken wood while Acoliss made his home upon Becca's lap, the only warm place in the tomb. Running his hand along the coffin, his facial features instantly changed as his smile faded quickly. So many years trapped within something so simple, it was almost amusing yet also disturbing. Shaking his head, he pulled his hand away and turned his back to his old bed. Eyes falling back onto Becca, he gave a soft smile, "Dear, long stories are my specialty, you would know that if you read mine," he laughed softly as he moved towards her.
Sitting up beside her, he rested his back against the wall and stared across the tomb at the corresponding wall and perked a brow, "Recent reconstruction," he mused softly being able to tell from the different colors of the cement, "Clearly I owe you my life several times over," he said softly as his eyes turned to stare at her. I'd ow you anything, he thought to himself knowing there was nothing he wouldn't do for her. Even though he looked after himself first, she was second and sometimes put to be first if the situation called for it. He loved her with all his unbeating heart, if that was even possible. No one else could make him feel so alive, no one. "I've missed you too, for that slumber was more so a nightmare, watching you die over and over again, each time different. You wouldn't believe how many ways there are to die, but it all felt like millions of years have pas-," pausing abrutly, he perked a brow, "How long as it been anyways?"

"Almost a thousand years." She stated churlishly as she scooted closer to him resting her head on his shoulder the lines of there bodies touching. She felt how cold he is and hoped her warmth could help him. "Yes the walls needed to be redone after that man came and blew this place all to hell I was so worried you'd be hurt, I started staying off the tomb after that but I got strong enough to kill anyone who dared hurt this place..." She drifted into her memories momentarily before looking up at him and smiling.

Feeling her body move against his own, his arm moved to wrap around her shoulders. Almost a thousand years, he replied to himself and somehow it felt shorter than that. Giving a gentle sigh, he could feel her warmth against his body and though it wasn't truly enough to warm him, it was still comforting. She was immortal but not undead and that was an odd comfort for him for she could protect him during the day or merely be company during the day. Mashadar found it hard to sleep the first few nights after a long torpid such as the one he was just in. It will probably be a month before he sleeps again. Turning to look at her, he smiled brightly at the fact she had protected him all these years, stood by him during his slumber unsure of if he would wake or be killed. Bitting the inside of his lower lip, his eyes softened and he would swear his heart would beat out of his chest in this moment if it were to beat at all. Combing her hair behind her ears, he smiled brightly as he leaned closer to her and whispered softly, "I still love you," before he placed a tender kiss upon her lips.

Scott appeared as it was almost morning time and he had not seen Becca for some time. He was in the Underworld all night trying to find out certain things. He enjoyed using his new Touch of Death power as it came to be very useful. Link B. Orbed into the cemetery moments before the sunrise. However when he arrived he was not just in the company of Becca, there was a man also, and they were kissing. Scott became infuriated and immediately lost control of his temper "Becca...How could you?" Scott said standing there looking at the both of them. "And who is this?" Scott said in a furious tone.
Scott immediately probed his mind and filled him with pain. "Get away from her" He yelled in a jealous rage, while using his Suggestion power. He wanted to know what was happening and how could Becca cheat on him after all of this.

Becca was caught off guard by Rayn's lips touching hers. She turned out of the kiss delighted in the sensation of his lips sliding over the skin of her cheek. She let out a soft breath as Scott suddenly appeared across from them in the tomb. Her eyes widened and she shuddered from the presence of such rage. Gliding from the shelf she went to him and cupped his face in her hands.
"Scott...please calm down. You're overreacting it is not what you think." She said in a quiet tone forcing him to look at her, she held his gaze and the tenderness in her eyes was all for him. "You keep forgetting I am French." She said making light of the situation going on the 'all Europeans kiss as a sign of hello' stitch she'd seen the humans of today laugh about. She turned back giving Rayn a stricken look. This was not how she wanted him to find out.
Of course Becca was still madly in love with him and her loyalty knew no bounds, but he had been dead for so long and she had been so lonely that when Scott had shown her the smallest amount of affection she had gone to him carelessly without thought. She slowly moved her fingers up and down caressing his cheeks calming him down. She was standing right here in front of him she wanted him to know she wasn't going anywhere....for now.

As she turned her face to only let his lips touch her cheek, it took it never the less. Than another decided to show up, uninvited at that. Turning to stare at the man who stood there, his rage filling Rapheal's tomb like a smoke bomb would. Cascading over his own words, clearly he was not Romeo, yet when Becca moved from him to the man, Rayn knew this man was in fact her new lover. Leaning back against the wall of the tomb, he gave a gentle smile at the man as his words began to filter past his lips, "Monsieur, why be so hostile?" he questioned as a French accent took his voice, "Is it so wrong of me to come and visit my ex-wife? I merely wanted some company since my business is slowly being taken over by the new wife I have, she's such a vampire." Scott's suggestion even seemed to go in one ear and out the other, but than again one tended to have great amount of will when they were four thousand years old, even Scott's attempts at reading his mind were failing miserably. A gentle laugh passed his lips, "Your rage is clear of jealousy, yet somehow I doubt she will ever truly be yours." Now was the time for games as he hopped off the shelf and moved to wards the broken coffin, his back being turned to both of them, "And besides," he paused for a moment as he ran his hand down the broken coffin, second time he did that too, "you're not the only one she loves," he spoke, his accent magically disappearing, "but than again, I wouldn't blame her after I have been dead for about a thousand years. It's a shame though, she picked you to keep her company in her times of loneliness, so I certainly hope the sex was good, cause you probably won't get much more than that." His words were cold and malicious now and a soft grin filled his lips as his back still faced Becca and Scott, almost daring Scott to do something stupid.

Scott sort of calmed down at Becca's soothing touch. He looked her in the eyes and tried to force a smile. It may have been true she was French but Scott still did not like what he had seen. Scott gave her a quick peck on the lips, trying to stay as calm as possible "Who is this?" he asked gazing into her eyes. He then tried to relieve himself of the jealous and anger emotions so he drained them out with his Empathy power.
Scott was about to apologize to the guy however he began talking and threw Scott into an uproar. Who did this guy think he was, Scott asked himself. The anger was evident on his face, and even the caressing of his cheek could not calm him down. Even though Scott was in a temper that by most would be uncontrollable by most, Scott kept his cool. It was probably had to do with his powers, he was more honed to the mind and heart due to them and could control them better than most, however when he first saw Becca and this guy, he had to admit he lost it.
Scott knew he was playing mind games and he smirked in an evil manner, because mind games was all Scott did. "Oh Monsieur" Scott said sarcastically "I must admit, I did lose my temper, however upon actually seeing you, I know I have nothing to worry about" Link said giving a sarcastic smile and then looking at Becca. He once again gave her a kiss, this time a little more heated. "Now love, why didn't you tell me you had friends of this...nature" Scott asked but loud enough for this guy to hear, and when Scott said nature he sounded more like an insult. It was Scott now that was waiting for him do something stupid "Oh and Mashadar, or wait your name now is Rayn right?" Scott asked. He probed his mind to find his name "Why have you come so far, you said you are from France no? Surely it was not to try and win Becca's heart right?" Scott now said more sarcastic then ever.

Becca suddenly felt nauseous, Rayn had always been able to read her like a book. She pulled her hands away from Scott's face slowly and took a step back seeing as it wasn't helping much. Her soul felt torn and conflicted she owed Rayn her life, he had been there for her a thousand years ago, took care of her taught her everything that made her the genius she was today. In effect HE had created the woman standing there, he had taken her virginity when she was the 16 year old girl her body pretended to be.
The man known as Raphael was her first in all things. She looked at Scott and felt her heart skip a beat, she shook her head hard and went to him again burying her face into his chest. He made her feel like she wasn't a monster, he had been there for her when Rayn had left her alone for all those years, it was his bed she sought comfort in his arms that gave her strength and made her feel alive. She pressed closer to Scott shaking slightly she didn't know what to do.
