Aysel moved her hands around in the crane position she was practicing her karate on a matt as the sun came up. She was out to get some air her hair in pigtails the way she wore when out exercising. The black pants moved against her with a white t-shirt that hugged her. Water moved nearby in a puddle from when it had rained the night previously. Elements ran in her family line along with oriental looks she didn't have that either taken after her father mostly.
The waves moved going across it she heard a sound then she stopped it. Eyes averted from what she had been concentrating on now scanning for what had made the noise.

His hard boots was cranking down on the somewhat rocking, eroded pavement. His hands in his pocket as a chain from his neck sat on his bare chest, covered by a black jacket, matching his newly bought shades and blue jeans pants. He was walking to where he saw the ducks the other day, thinking that it was becoming his hub when not on University grounds. He sat down on a bench that was nearby, noticing that a girl was doing some sort of excercise and looking around as if distracted. He smiled, hoping that he wasnt the reason she was looking around, for he did not like being a distraction. He knew how annoying it could be.

She saw a guy who was sitting on a bench she had not heard him come sitting there. Aysel knew that she was loosing it she wanted to sit down knowing that she was overdoing it. The day was still cool she loved what potential each new day brought. "Mind if I sit," asked Aysel she looked at the guy for a moment before she put her hands into the pockets of her pants? Sounds coming from a nearby pond caught her sight the ducks playing and fish going by it was a perfect picture. "I'm not that talkative," said Aysel turning back to the guy.

Kevin seemed dazed in the stare that he didnt even notice when the girl had moved and come next to him. He turned around to face her, feeling a bit awkward that the girl caught him staring. He smiled, knowing that he was not the only one that came here at the end of the day for just a brief workout or a time of relaxation.
Upon her saying that she as not talkative didnt bother him at all. He met many people who were simply silent, not knowing what to say, or just too shy, even when he was setting them up with their soul mate. "That's okay." He said as he placed his hands in his lap, looking away for a moment to observe the ducks. "Peaceful, aren't they?"

She took this as the signal to actually sit down the girl sat down on the bench. "Yeah, it is relaxing here it is my favorite spot," said Aysel looking at him. The practical joker and talker she was when meeting new people she asked, "So what are you doing out here not many people come out here,"? Aysel moved her legs back and forth then laid her back against the back of the bench. Ducks were in the pond a little old lady came around the corner in order to feed them.

"Not many people?" He said with a laughter, last Saturday when he was hear, the place was filled with people feeding the ducks, attracted by them, walking and talking, just enjoying themselves. Kevin then thought maybe this only occured on the weekend, and by the looks of it, he was right.
"Well, I just come here after school. Just to relieve stress I suppose." He said this time looking away from the girl to see the lady with a small purse throwing small pieces of food into the pond, he laughed as she looked so fragile, and her throws were a little less than powerful.

Aysel looked at him she said, "Yeah, school and other things can get stressful,". The little old lady then prepared to disappear behind the tree. "I think that it looks like rain," said Aysel staring up at the clouds that were starting to form. Clouds started to come together and the darkening skys made her think of her uncle who controlled the weather around their house. Storms were over her house whenever he got angry though it was nothing compared to her grandfather with his mood swings of fire.

Kevin looked up at the oncoming nimbus clouds, he shook his head in agreement that it was indeed about to rain. He stood to his feet and pushed one hand in his pocket. "I guess I better go then." He said as he looked back over at the clouds and then the ducks that were seemingly following one another.

Aysel asked, "Care for some company I need to be leaving as well if there is rain coming,"? The skys were indeed blackening she looked at him before the first drops started to come down. She said, "It seems nature wants it's way on this day," her eyes going to the skys. Power was something that she didn't have if she did then she would control it making it go away. "I'm Aysel by the way," said Aysel smiling at him with more optimism then one would think was possible.

Kevin smiled, looked at his watched and concluded a meal at the Quake could be satisfying. "Aysel, want to come to the Quake then?" He said with the same optimism she gave. "And I'm Kevin." He said looking at the skies and determining they had to move quickly if they wanted to reach there without getting wet.

"Okay, let's go," said Aysel she smiled at him then she started to walk staring at him. She started walking almost running the moment she looked at them. "Race you there," said Aysel she started to run she knew where the restaurant after living her entire life. Running past a few trees she was running the rain had started the witch was running. The element she wanted to control was storms maybe someday she might acquire that power.

By the time he had interpreted what the girl had said, she was already ahead of him and the clouds had already burst, drenching him on the spot. He started running as the rain beated against his back, his short hair now becoming wet and somewhat curly, his clothes sticking to him as it absorbed the rain.
Kevin laughed a bit, this was the second time this happened to him in a week, and he was slowly falling in love with this new way to exercise. He noticed that the Quake was right ahead, and soon they would be there, hopefully, they would allow them in the place in the conditions they were in.

She smiled at him then she went in the waitresses looked at them then lead them to a table. The witch couldn't believe that she was sitting here with all the wet clothes. "Here you go," said the waitress handing them some towels. "Well at least we're someplace warm and dry," said Aysel before she dried her hair. Her eyes were on the guy infront of her this was a weird day. "Well are you hungry because I'm starved," asked Aysel her eyes on him?
