This was the biggest night of the year, the BlackOut Night Special, this was the tenth anniversary of the Club's first opening, just seven years after he escaped the Underworld. He pulled some strings and he had the hottest DJs and artistes like Mariah Carey, Fall Out Boy, Boys Like Girls, Nelly Furtado, Bow Wow, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Beyonce, Jordin Sparks, All American Rejects and an old favourite of Chase's Dido, this was truly going to be the biggest and it sure was. The crowds started lining up from 5:30, and that was saying something seeing as the club didn't open until 8pm and when the doors burst open, he had to work fast to hire two more security guys for the front doors. Opening was Fall Out Boy with their hit Thanks for the Memories, instantly, the crowds went wild on the dance floor while the rest occupied the tables on the ground floor, the first level, the second level and even the VIP where they got the chance to meet the other artistes and celebs who were coming for the event. Chase undoubtedly had the biggest club this side of the US and everyone who was in, who was with it, knew it and he wasn't about to let anything ruin his life nor his business. He was seated at the bar opposite his sexy bartender Latoya who just fixed him up a drink, a vodka actually. He sent it down then let out a gasp. "That was a good one, hit me up when I come back." He said a she took her hand and kissed it smoothly before getting up and heading across the dance floor, women brushing themselves against him, so he could meet with the owner of some failed L.A. club that had a good size, inside was spacious and it was well situated. He was so interested in buying.

She knew things were different her father was died leaving her to do what she pleased. The girl had aged fast looking older then what she was going into the club was a snap. Krystalline had been through a lot with her father dieing and sister always out with her boyfriend. It seemed the Mathias family was growing apart something she never thought was to come true. Krys wore a very simple white tube top and black shirt with ankle black boots. Magic had allowed her to enter without any trouble and went up to the bar asking, "A coke," then looked around.
Her sister was out with the guy somewhere and with Kerianne away most of the time it was a free for all. High school was difficult and she preferred the night life already compared to what her fate awaited her. Aayliah was going to rule leaving her alone to do what she wanted a life without magic interference there wasn't going to be no fighting. People had told her of the prophecy she had spoken that night and swearing on her own blood none of her descendants we're ever going to see either Avalon. She took a sip of the soda given to her then turned around to see what the area had to offer.

Tonight was the night when rules, regulations and the constant worries of magic would be left at home. Tonight was Beti's time to let loose and roam the mortal realm freely, without the demonic or valkyrie race on her back. Ever since her arrival at Vahalla relaxing or time to reflect was a thing of a past. She was now always on the go, whether it be recruiting, fighting or gaining control of her new found abilities, she felt she was no longer Beti Chavali. The small wiccan store in which she had owned for several years was also beginning to take its toll. Financial worries were beginning to slowly creep in, it came apparent she would have no option but to sell up. With these on going worries pushed aside just for this evening, she decided to go wild and forget eveything, afterall, a night out was long overdue.
This morning Beti had splashed out and hit the shops of San Francisco with Twighlight Moon's takings. She had paid well over $150 for the long, black dress she had purchased especially for tonights occassion. It was a tight fitting, somewhat revealing garment that hugged her figure and emphasised her beautiful body, it made her a definate crowd pleaser.
After waiting just over two hours to enter the club (alone sadly) her excitement began to slowly fade. While in the que her thoughts wandered all over the place. Her mind ran over and over the on going responsbilities she gained ever since joining the magical community. She had grown distant from her family, friends were rare and her mind focused on her duties rather than her personal life. Beti desperately yearned for a family of her own, a loving husband, a large family home and more importantly a beautiful child, a daughter infact. Sadly, Beti knew this dream was merely a fantasy.
The doors to BlackOut finally opened and the crowds poured in like a stampede of wild animals, much to the distress of the security guards. Beti bolted in also, she couldn't bare another minute outside, the cold air was relentless and her feet ached, it was a surprise she was still up for dancing. Upon entering her eyes scanned the area around her, cheap dressed tarts and drooling men spread across the club, perhaps P3 had been a better option. Sighing aloud she pushed forward, pulling up a seat at the bar. "Hey! Can I get drink over here?" she shouted, trying to be heard over the blaring music. "I'll have a cok-" Beti paused, she was going to have fun tonight and a coke certainly wasn't going to fulfill her needs! "Make that a rum a coke!" The bartender nodded and poured Beti her drink, trying to be friendly in the process by offering her a large grin and a cheeky wink. "Thanks!" Beti smirked, handing the man the appropiate change. Beti sipped lightly on her drink, she would go easy on the alcohol to begin with, she didn't want any men to take advantage of her... not that she couldn't handle herself of course.

Jeffery was out to get a break tonight it was only fair good guys had a break. He was wearing the usual dress dark jeans and white dress shirt. The elemental entered the club being well known in the club area. A bar ahead he walked over ordering a water because of having to go on duty at the firehouse in the morning. Clubs were a great place to get away and the last few days magic had been more involved in his life then he would have liked. There seemed to be a lot of people around and scanned around before moving up to enjoy the band on the edge of a crowd. When on the way there he bumped into a waitress when someone pushed him on the right side causing him to loose his balance and go falling in the floor in front of the bar area. He looked up there was a woman and turning red he got up brushing off himself.
The night had started out promising now look what had happened. "Sorry," said Jeff when upon noticing the drink he'd been holding had went off towards the bar area. "I hope it didn't hit you," said Jeff referring to the dark haired woman seating infront of him.

Chase took a pen from his pocket and with his accountant by his side, he signed off $4.3 million over to this desperate man who sold a $9 million dollar Club for less than half, but he had some cash and Chase was about to make more and that was business for ya. he turned and made his way across the dance floor back to the side which had the booths, the table, chairs etc. He took a seat in his favourite booth at the very back in the dark there, alone, not doing much. It had been a while since he saw Jason, but he was over the dude, he was the first guy and the last, Chase was a ladies man, evidently, so why wasn't he out there picking up a girl to get freaky with...he didn't know, he didn't care, maybe he was waiting for the right person, like Ja...like a soul mate or some shit, whatever it is they talk about. His booth door opened and Natalie brought him his two shots of vodka. he tipped her big then she closed the door and left him there. Gawd why was he such an ass?

Krystalline walked around the floor for a second before she started dancing with a guy. She was trying to have fun because of the recent battle that was going to be hard to do. The priestess had a enormous wait on her shoulder protecting her sister and trying to have a normal life while the prince of all evil was after them. He was a good dancer and was going at it for a while when he attempted to lead her over to a booth. Krystalline was a very thoughtful person and giving him the benefit of the doubt attempted to follow him. They sat down for a minute when he attempted to make her kiss him and this made her temper rise. Lightning came from her hand putting it on him she made him light up and he went unconsciousness. Krys hoped no one saw what she had done then attempted to get out when two guys came up to her.
"What did you do to him girl," asked one of the men that appeared to be a few feet taller then her? He went to grab her the other one grabbing her shoulders. Krystalline had grown scarred looking around for anyone to help or someway to get away without exposing her magic.

Beti's feet began to tap the floor and her head moved rhythmically in time with the music, she was beginning to relax and more importantly get into her party mood. "What the hell!" she screamed, feeling a cold pool of water cover her body. Catching her breath after the sudden shock she bolted upright and pulled the dress material away from her body to prevent it from sticking to her skin "This outfit was 150 dollars!" she roared, glaring at the man that stood infront of her, an empty glass clutched in his hands. With clear frustration she grabbed the beer towel from the bar and began to dry herself off. It was obvious something bad was going to happen tonight, fate was at work, but why would should she give in? She was not going to allow this to stop her from enjoying herself. Beti looked at the man in embarrassment she had acted over the top and extremely dramatic, afterall it was only an accident. "Sorry hun, I've just had a lot on my mind lately, I didn't mean to snap.." she sighed, offering the empty seat next to her with a hand gesture. "You get me another drink and your forgivven.." she grinned, knocking back her rum and coke.

"Sure, what are you drinking," asked Jeffery looking at her with a smile glad it was happening better then it he had thought? He took up a seat beside her he said, "One beer and," then waited for her to answer. The elemental was smiling like a fool at her with his right arm propped up on the seat. Jeffery took a closer look at the woman glad she hadn't got her mad because she might be able to beat him up. "I can be too clumpsy sometimes," said Jeffery knowing it was true no matter his powers or training he could be very clumpsy. Jeffery said, "I'm Jeffery," with a smile waiting for her answer the elemental had found a interest for the night. "May I ask your name," asked Jeffery trying to be as smooth as possible?

"I'll have the same again, Rum and Coke please.." she said to the man, admiring his beaming, brown eyes. "Jeffery, ay?" she laughed. "Cute name!" She offered the man a hand to shake so there introduction could start from afresh, she was traditional like that. "I'm Beti.." she replied, feeling a little flush. Beti had suddenly felt somewhat embarrassed, she soon caught on that the man was attempting to flirt with her, something she hadn't experienced in quite a while. "So Mr, are you single?" she smiled, trying to get into the whole swing of things. She hadn't looked at a man in this sort of way in years, there was something obviously attractive about him. There was certainly nothing to loose so she decided she would go for it, afterall, destiny may have been at work, could this man be her future husband?

Jeffery smiled at her he said, "Yes, I am," not wanting to tell her the face of having no time for relationships. He was always off running errands for the elders, fighting fires, or battling evil it didn't leave time for things like this. "Well I'll go first I'm a firefighter what do you do," asked Jeffery trying to make some conversation? "And it's Jeff," said Jeffery already feeling very comfortable with her then what he'd come to find was right in front of him. The drink he drank down was good and smiled at her with a big smile it was goofy for what the situation was. His beeper vibrated in the back pants leg he reached back and turned it off. Elders we're going to have to wait it was different the one way to reach him.
