V The Vanessa Comrad Show Season Two, Episode One Special Guest: Lauren Halliwell
Vanessa Comrad was back into the Media House, hours ahead of time. She had missed this place, The show had taken a break in between seasons and was finally back! The show was now showing in more states around the country, and in some areas streamed over the internet! The last season had really boosted her status in the Celebrity land, and surely, Vanessa was enjoying the attention!She was afterall, running the #1 show in the country, and besides, this meant an increase in salary and way more advertisement now!
She had already dressed when the producers all came running backstage, shouting that it was mere seconds before the live show. She smiled, leaving a list of orders on her dressing room door for Stephanie and then made her way down to the set! 5,4,3,2
The huge V opened, and out came Vanessa! She catwalked down the runway and stopped, a prolonged wait as the audience erupted in applause. She laughed, finally walking over to the chair where she always sat! She sat, crossing her legs as the applause continued!
She finally waved her hands, nodding her head in a form of thanks and then finally she spoke. "To a serious issue, the Vanessa Comrad show offers condolences to all the lives lost in the recent earthquakes!" Vanessa stated as the crowd silenced and she closed her eyes nodding her head.
"But today! Today is the season primiere! We are now broadcasted in more states and in more countries around the world!" The crowd again erupted in applause and Vanessa smiled. Then finally quieting them once again,"Our first guest of the season has hit a media homeroom, and we all want to know what really happened that the media was not able to get! But tonight, You host will get the answers you want to hear! Ladies and Gentlemen, Lauren Halliwell!" |

That was unbelievable! Lauren was going to be on National/International television and she would answer questions and probably say things that she never mentioned in her column. She wore a short sparkly blue dress, but it did cover both of her legs, so she wouldn’t look totally vulgar during the interview. Lauren sat down on a comfy red couch backstage and stood in front of the big V when she was told that it was almost time.
Lauren breathed deeply and smiled…she had to smile during the whole show, that would be tiring. Suddenly she heard Vanessa saying “Lauren Halliwell”. Shortly afterwards the big V opened and Lauren walked down the runway, waving and smiling at the people who applauded and whistled at her. A few years ago, Lauren Halliwell was just an ordinary girl with magical powers and she suddenly became rich and famous. Well maybe that’s what gave her the inspiration to give her column the name of “Suddenly Lauren”. Lauren shook Vanessa’s hand and sat down at her seat. “Thanks for having me.” she said politely and smiled at her loyal fans.

Vanessa smiled, standing as the huge V opened to reveal Lauren coming down the catwalk. She nodded, as she passed and sat. Vanessa crossed her lebs, her short black shiny dress stopped at her lower thighs, and her high heeled silver heels added complements to her dress. She continued to smile as the audience applauded, and finally Vanessa looked over across at Lauren, "The pleasure's ours!"
"You have been through a lot lately..." Vanessa stated, getting straight to the point, "...but you still manage to write a daily column. How do you do it?"

Lauren smiled politely at Vanessa and heard the first question , but at the same time Lauren started to think of what to say. “Well…writing my column is kind of what I do in order to keep an inner balance and I just like write when I want to relax and forget about the whole pressure coming from the paparazzi and people from the media.” she began and kept that beautiful smile of hers decorating her face. Lauren could really find the right words to answer V’s questions and hopefully everything would work out. “Really writing an advise column or just a column with an encouraging poem or something is no big deal. You just have to wait for the right mood to come..erm.. . Live a healthy life, go out friends…go shopping every once in a while.” she said with a laugh then got back to the subject. “Manage to find a balance and you’ll be successful.” Lauren finished and crossed her legs.

Vanessa nodded, looking at the audience as the question was answered most superbly. She then looked down at her cue cards and uncrossed her legs, the cute stuff was done now, and the real show was about to begin. "Is it true you are dating the Editor of the L.A.Times Aaron Pryce? Is he the reason for this sudden media blitz?"

Lauren rose an eyebrow and smiled, she wasn’t going to hide the fact that she was dating Aaron. That was nothing to be ashamed of. “Yes…we’re dating and I really see no point in hiding that from people. I’ve reached my current status, because I worked hard, studied a lot and I gave up many opportunities like going to parties, skipping school…etc… because I wanted to help people through writing and I think that my dream came true.” she answered the question asked and folded her arms. “ And we like each other…so that’s what matters.” she said calmly and kept a good composure.

Vanessa smiled, it was cute that she found love so quickly, but the drilling and interesting questions were just beginning. "You two seemed to become a couple immediately after your split with Aiden, so were you two dating whilst you were seeing Aiden?" Vanessa questioned, her smile gone and her eyebrow raised.

Lauren laughed and didn’t show any sign of intimidation. “No….Aiden and I broke up a couple of years before I started dating Aaron.” she answered the question and smiled at Vanessa and at the crowd. Lauren was confident that she was going to keep things under control and that she wasn’t going to be humiliated in front of half of the country by Vanessa Comrad. “I hope that answers your question. There really weren’t any fights when we decided to split up. We handled the situation as two grown up people that realized that things were not going to work out.” she finished once more and kept a confident smile.

Vanessa squinted her eyes, looking down at the cue cards in the palm of her hands, she gritted her teeth and pointed her nose in the air. "According to sources, you Lauren Halliwell knew that Aiden Black-Density was not dead. And that he visited you a few times including in your office and in the cemetary before he was seen in public. That sounds like you two were still together don't it?" She stated as she turned to the audience who applauded the evidence.
"Well I guess you were seeing them both at the same time. But the question is, what made you choose Aaron over Aiden? Is the sex better or what?" Vanessa said intrusively.

“ You know Vanessa…I think that your source’s information is nothing but rubbish . I thought that Aiden was dead like everybody else and I was proven wrong when we met at the cemetery. The second time I saw him…we had a normal conversation, things between the both of us ended long before his return.” she explained and looked at the silent crowd. Lauren sighed and smiled at Vanessa, Lauren wasn’t mad at the hostess or anything, Vanessa was just doing her job and Lauren totally understood that. “Aaron is a nice guy and he understands me and he knows that I take my column very seriously.”

Vanessa placed her hands beneath her chin as she stared at Lauren as she spoke. Vanessa crossed her lebs once more, placing the cue cards in her lap and she flung her straightened hair to her back, the camera roatating to accompany the new position in which she was sitting. "So are you saying that you and Aiden are still friends and that you all broke up amicably?" Vanessa asked as she stared at the woman, looking down at her cards once more, "Has he seen you since you started dating again or Do you think he's jealous?"

Lauren laughed and crossed her legs, trying to ignore the camera and keep an eye contact with Vanessa. “Everything was fine we behaved like two grown up people. Now I haven’t seen Aiden in a long time…maybe because I’ve been working on my column and I guess that he’s a bit busy with his new life and stuff.” she said and kept her radiant smile on her face. “I don’t know if he’s jealous…only Aiden would be able to answer that question, but we’re good friends and I don’t see why he would be jealous of me now.” she finished with a giggle.

Vanessa stopped Lauren in between her statement by turning towards the camera and raising her hands, "We'll take a commercial break and when we come back we will drill Lauren on only our first solo interview for the season on the recent rumors that had surfaced and her new life with boyfriend and boss Aaron Pryce. Stay tuned!" Vanessa stated and immediately as the camera went off, she was bombarded with hair and stylist protocol that began to refresh her.
"Where's Stephanie? I need her to make sure the primiere party is going well. If not promise her her death!" Vanessa shouted at the people around her.

God….The commercial break finally arrived and it gave Lauren the opportunity to breathe and walk up to the crowd and sign what the fans asked her to sign. There were signature books, some of her own columns , pictures that Lauren took a few months ago. Yeah…living the “Paris Hilton” kind of life was great fun and definitely something challenging. Lauren took a few pictures with her fans and then returned to her seat, while she waited for the interview to continue.

They were sginaled that the break was coming to an end, and Vanessa regained her composure. Upon the cameras cutting on again, Vanessa smiled, welcoming the audience back to the show. She then gave a brief nod to the live audience before she finally continued the interview as though it never ended."Is dating your boss different?" Vanessa questioned curious.
