He stood dressed in all black waiting for Leah to arrive and smiled excited for a normal date his heart going a mile a minute. Troy had just gotten something to drink at a nearby Red Cross supply where it cost him plenty to buy it. The night proved to be beautiful and very quiet after Johnathan hadn't tracked him down. Vampire senses picked up people's heartbeats and their very breath making it hard to focus basically teaching himself everything in order to survive. Rumors had been flying of a new power gathering yet every week it seemed to be a new one.
The new Halliwell birth had created quite a sensation had left it to real witches too handle. Troy wanted a normal life for just a little while no magic and waited for Leah to arrive with great anticipation.

It had taken Leah forever to get ready for her date. It had been so long since the last one and she didn't want to scare him off just yet. Funny... she was afraid of scaring the vampire. Finally she'd managed to settle on a dark blue skirt, that she didn't even know she had that reached just above her knees and flowed around her body. Without any other shoes she had to accessories with her red Converse sneakers and eventually threw a black coat over the ensemble.
She smiled at herself in the mirror before dashing out of her apartment. She rounded the corner and grinned at Troy. Little had he know the restaurant he'd chosen was right by her place. Maybe they could just skip the club...
"Hey," she said with a smile and gave him a hug before stepping back and looking at the restaurant. She'd never really looked, but it didn't seem like a bad place at all. "You do know you don't have to dress in black just because... you know. Really. Colour looks good on you."

"Well you look good youself and I'll take it under advisement," replied Troy before opening the door for her to walk though with a dumb smile on his face. Troy had found someone not afraid of him and a sense of peace never known before it would be a good night. He noticed a few people around thankfully no cameras because fo the last article had called for a lawsuit to be brought forward. "You look great," said Troy with a smile while walking in after her and a server came up to ask them. "How many," asked the woman with a warm friendly smile and made Troy glad for the night?
"Two," said Troy while the woman lead them to a table and he pulled a chair out for her always a gentleman. It didn't matter what form the vampire was in he would always be a genteman because of his upbringing.

"Thanks," Leah said with a smile and glanced down at the shoes. "You don't think the shoes are all kinds of wrong?" she asked as the server approached. He wouldn't mind - he was a guy, but it didn't hurt to check. Plus if he said they were fine it would make her feel a little better.
She smiled as Troy held the chair for her and quickly took her coat off and threw it over the back of the chair before letting him push her towards the table. She'd never had anyone do that for her before and the gesture made her smile.
"Thanks," she said as he took the chair cross from her and again when the waitress handed her a menu. Troy took his menu but barely glanced at it. "So," she said when the waitress hand walked off after she'd ordered a coke. "Do you eat at all?"

"Not really I do enjoy a good steak," said Troy having a craving for a rare steak while their drinks came back with a smile Troy gestured for her to order first. He only ate meat well done anymore not much different from his werewolf days and smiled at her. She didn't freak out at all with what he was doing and knew the night to be a good one. While vampires didn't need to eat a good burger sometimes helped fight down some cravings especially fresh meat. Human voices started to interact with his new found telepathy as held the already aching head and smiled at her. Lights flickered overhead while his hand began to twitch from the headache his powers kept awakening thanks to his new vampire blood.
The vampire had to have control he kept focusing otherwise risked loosing control on everything and held his a throbbing head. When a lot of people we're around it got his telepathy going and made him go a little crazy.

((if you use commas, ill understand some of it better...)) "Hm, okay," Leah said with a nod and glanced down at menu. Ugh... there was so much meat on it and now this guy liked meat as well. She didn't really know if she coud handle that. She looked up at the waitress. "I'll have an Italian salad and the spaghetti napoletana, please."
She turned back to Troy and stared at him for a moment with a frown. He was holding his hand to his head and she noticed the lights flickering briefly in the same tact as his blinking. Some of the guests complained but a moment later Troy seemed better and so did the electricity.
"Let's get to the date part then," she said with a grin. Questions were in order. And although she knew there were a lot more interesting questions she could ask, normal, human questions were in order. "Where were you born?"

"Well right here a very long time ago," said Troy not willing to admit about a thousand year jump through his history where he'd served evil literally. He noticed her tense up when the vampire mentioned steak almost laughing and thought maybe she wasn't as tough. "I'll have a steak rarely done," said Troy to the waitress before waiting for more questions where he deceided to give more details. "I work as a freelance photographer," said Troy looking at her for a second for drinking some soda to steady himself. While others might have thought such a strange life really had no clue what an exciting life he lead.

Leah pulled a face when Troy ordered his steak. Not only was he eating meat, he was eating it as alive as it could get. She took a sip from her coke and listened to him speak to avoid thinking about it.
"That's pretty cool. I'm glad I have you then, you'll know all the ins and outs here, I suppose," she said after placing her drink back down. She grinned and shook her head at his next comment. "I know what you do. That's how I met, you silly," she said and immediately felt stupid for using the word 'silly'. "This is my first real job," she said with a sigh. "I've always been doing stupid little things like waitressing.
"I was born in LA, I think," she said with a shrug. If she was lucky, he wouldn't ask her about it. "And then two weeks ago I didn't want to live there anymore and came here."

He saw her face feeling embarrassed turned away for a second when listening to the word silly and just smiled at her with a corky smile. "You just called me silly of all things silly,' said Troy before laughing out loud at their situation it had to be quite funny after everything that had just gone through. Troy immediatley came alive when the food had arrived and dug in after saving grave then saw he had created a scene. "Sorry, " mumbled Troy smiling at her with a big smile before wipping his mouth and waiting for an answer. People just kept staring at him making the vampire very nervous and red on his face turning to her he deceided to ask. "Well got any family living around here," asked Troy trying to continue the date while taking a sip of water?

((the food shouldnt have arrived that quickly -.- move conversation!!)) "Ssh, don't remind me," she said a blush crossing her face. She frowned whe he spoke again, his question making her slightly uncomfortable. It was a perfectly normal, acceptable question. Of course, it wasn't like he knew that she'd never met her parents, spent a day in the company of drug addicts and lived her entire life in foster care.
"No," she finally said with a sigh and was grateful when her salad arrived. She began by poking at the olives pushing them to one end of the plate before pouring the dressing on it. Glancing up she found Troy scarfing down the steak and pulled a face. Ugh... damn, and she was hoping for a good night kiss, but now... no change. Unless he like toss some breath mints down and brushed his teeth or something.
"Okay... so what's your favourite color?" she asked before forking some salad and stuffing it into her mouth.

"Blue," said Troy while finding some steak to half way finished suddenly feeling sick for a moment after eating too fast and sighed quickly smelling his breath. He popped in a mouth breath mint and then turned to give Leah his full attention for the rest of a night. Troy smiled he said, "Well family is overrated anyway got a few close friends just not too close to anyone anymore as you know other things seem to get int he way," thinking of all of all the supernatural things in his life. She seemed to be a little uncomfortable and just smiled before continuing he said, "My best friend is Johnathan maybe you guys could meet sometime," before giving her a bigger smile.
He said, "My friend who made me into this and is a really good friend," before deceiding to have some fun focusing sent some food at a nearby table to come down onto a man. Troy smiled as it went down paying the man back for yelling at a waiter earlier.

Troy was done with his meal when she was on her last few bites of salad. Hell, she still had a whole plate of pasta to get through. She looked up at him when he answered and smiled as she chewed on the final pieces of salad.
The waitress arrived promptly and took their plates away with an incredulous glance at Troy. How rude of him to finish so quickly. How was the young lady going to feel? Sitting there eating all on her own.
"I'll bring your pasta in a moment," she said with a smile down at Leah. Leah nodded as she took a sip of coke as Troy explained his ties in the city. His friend Johnathan. His friend and creator Jonathan. She wasn't entirely sure she wanted to meet someone who turned out people into vampires. Troy she'd known before then and he barely seemed different - more cocky, yes - but not like someone who would eat another person.
"Guess what my favourite colour is? And... guess my favourite movie," she said with a grin.
