Calming waves, nice sudden breezes, the Sun was setting a beautiful day on the beach. And it just happened to be where Darek was doing some practice shoots with several projectile weapons. What else was he going to do? His powers were only good for hand to hand combat of tactical. By tactical poison the victim and watch them die far away. So now he had the idea to keep his victims and an even more distance. As he picks up a well made bow and then an arrow he waits. Darek's ears already pick up the sound of flapping wings soon a seagull came into sight pulling the string back and quickly letting go a satisfing splash sound was made in the ocean.
Dropping his bow Darek turns around and throws two shurikens from both hands that were concealed in his sleeves. As they struck a small boulder he sighed. None of the targets made him feel anything it was just so simple. Finally he just gave up and sat on a cliff watching things go by. Swinging his legs back and forth he looked around the scenario. Wearing all black from his tennis shoes, ripped sleeved shirt, black jeans, and clothed gloves. "This world is so boring."

"Not that boring," said Samantha walking up to the cliff while letting air comfort a very weary elemental after everything that had happened to her. Samantha had the blood of a elemental flowing through her because of a very difficult relationship of her parents. "Mind if I join you," asked Samantha while staring down at him unaware of what he was because lacking a sensing power half-breeds didn't have those powers? She had been out trying to find her elusive witch when word had come of the girl's demise it had hurt the whitelighter.
When taking off her sandals let her feet hit the sand and it felt good to be where touch was allowed to be felt. Samantha smiled at him while waiting for an answer and enjoying the view trying to relax after everything.

Darek could hear someone coming turning around he saw a woman. Smiling he couldn't help but think about how she probably misunderstood his statement. But then again that was sometimes that was a pretty good thing considering him being a demon. And why let a good thing be ruined by him being a bladder mouth? So this time Darek thought it to be best to stay silent to who he really ways. "What brings you here?" Darek asked innocently his voice soft and caring. The beach was always a popular place in the day and afternoon. That is the main reason why he stays away from it until night. The crowds were always annoying to him.
So many possible things he could do if he mingled with humans. But not every demon could have mortal partner of another race. And his family has already been having that trouble before. As he turns his head slightly to see the sunset he smiles, "A wonder sight is it not?" Darek said as he took a deep breath in. The Moon might be more beautiful in Darek's eyes, but a sunset always had its own beauty as well. Especially when setting into the horizons of the water.

"Just out for some fresh air," said Samantha while taking a seat from the way he didn't seem to mind some company enjoying a trully beautiful sunrise. She said, "Yes, very beautiful," leaned back propped up with her arms smiled at the glorious sight. Samantha fought for these days for humans to enjoy without worrying about their heros dyning or demons attacking. Her elemental side helped maintain a balance with nature for the most part a true pacifist in battle like most whitelighters. Whitelighters had no neeed for direct fighitng it was the job of their charges to do that.
"I'm Sam," said Samantha smiling at him with a kind smile and just enjoyed the view with a few seagulls overhead. She had enjoyed things being quiet and no new charges left a lot of time opened for her. Samantha trully hoped for a good assignment maybe being the new Halliwell's whitelighter afterall the child had gotten one yet. When upon closer inspection of the man infront of her she noticed how he seem to bei in deep thought.

"Marcus." Darek replied giving the lady his foster name it wasn't a lie, but not completely the truth. Darek had the scent of a whitelighter and even an elemental. A hybrid? Or this Sam could just have been around one or the other. It wasn't a far fetched idea and Darek could never be too careful...what the Hell he was on vacation. No time for over thinking random situations just needed to go with the flow. If not he could get lost in that same flow and forever stuck and drained by his work. Everyone and every being deserved a break once in a while. If not they would go insane.
As a nice lovely breeze came by and blew his shirt. Rumpling in the air he looks Sam in her eyes. There was one thing that he could more importantly see in her. She was Good. And he wasn't Good or Evil he was neutral and it made him feel good about that. But Darek knew one day that he would have to choose a side one day. Until that day came and went Darek was going to be how he wanted to be.

"Nice to meet you Marcus," said Samantha with a kind smile always one to show kindness to everyone no matter who or what they happened to be. Samantha just sighed staring outwards a few surfers coming and smiled here things we're a lot more simple then before. She just laid there enjoying the beautiful weather sometimes silence was better then speaking and just had a calm look upon her face. Silence in the heavens was beautiful it gave people time to think like they did here and just be instead of constantly fighting. "It's nice here," said Samantha ignoring a call in her head from a charge it had been the same one to do false ones all week.
She loved her charges just wanted a break once in awhile and smiled at the man not saying another word for the time being.

She was right at least it was a nice day and a nice spot. Bu sadly enough he didn't want her here. But then again his social awkwardness was just something he would have to get over. Because he can't just kill everyone he doesn't want around him that would be a big problem. Darek just ignored that feeling and tempting offer. "Yes it is nice." with a smile. She might as well be nice for this once and lovely day. If not then what good is living if people can't be good? Then again he wasn't a person. He was a demon and he needed to start acting like it. Maybe a trip to the Underworld would do it...

Samantha smiled at him he seemed preoccupied with his own thoughts and only stared out at the water before the whitelighter surfaced inside of her. She asked, "Can I ask what is wrong," looking at him afterall the whitelighter always made her want to help people? The whitelighter waited for an answer with a look of concern never able to escape her caring nature and smiled at him. "Come on I promise I'm a good learner," said Samantha with a big smile always willing to care even for strangers. A simple answer to her question would put the constant questions at rest and smiled trying to encourage an answer from him.

Darek hadn't noticed that he was being so easily read. Smiling when he looked at Samatha's eyes there might be hope with whatever she was. Darek was thinking that she was a hybrid, his sister was why not her? In a way he could have became a hybrid all he had to do was embrace his witch half, but instead he just went full demon. Kneeling down he touched her hand in between both of his. Secretly he was poisoning her...but not to kill, but to paralyze. She would probably only notice the affects when she tries to move. He wasn't going to kill her not at all. It was mostly because he was not very certain about how people would react when telling them what he was about to tell her.
Letting go of her hand his smile faded, "Forgive me, but I have my own concerns. They deal with me being a demon lost in the sides of good and evil. I don't know whether to be evil and kill everyone. Sure that would be easy, but still there are still people to answer to. Then being good I would have to live with the rules and help people. Sure helping people is good and nice, but other demons would be all over me trying to kill me as they think I'm weak and don't deserve my powers or to live. Life is confusing." he ended his bleeding-heart speech by touching her again and draining out the poison. Gasping the poison was taken back into his own body.

She moved not noticing the effects of a posion at all and smiled at him thinking things over not really surprised with what he was not really minding it. Samantha said, "You can become human disappear," smiling at him knowing it might be the answer he didn't want to hear. The woman smiled a little before feeling a little woozy putting it off as just not getting a lot of rest lately. When she thought to cheer him up focused air nearby to gather some leaves and float them around the demon. "Magic has it's benefits living is better sometimes the true magic is just living day to day," said Samantha letting it die down as her eyes returned to their normal color.
When speaking again turned to him she said, "I'm a whitelighter take it from somebody make a decision because in the end it will only end in conflict," smiling before just laying back against the grass. She let her arms lay out on the grass feeling it just enjoying the day.

"Me, become human that has been done before and it hasn't been pretty. Whitelighter...Pure?" Darek has had some problem with pure whitelighters the hybrids he could deal with he never knew why. Probably he feels they aren't doing there jobs if they have maybe his mother could still be here. It was just annoying and hard to deal with. Darek stood back up before having a lovely thought of jumping of the cliff, sure it would hurt, but he would get over it. Demon endurance really helped. "Really a normal life would be so good, but I can't get that not yet. Not until I get my revenge."
He had to make sure that everything was taken care of before he could become human. First he would kill Aubrey, then he would turn the actually age he looks. He would destroy his old memories he would finally become Marcus Psyelord. That would take a lot of work and he wouldn't rest until it was finished.

"Revenge on who," asked Samantha setting up with genuine concern on her face and waited for an answer while watching the sun go down below a blue ocean? She knew how demons wanted revenge on one another and simply shook her head with a sigh. "Revenge is never the answer it won't keep you warm when your alone," said Samantha realizing how she'd lost charges to their need for revenge. "Maybe I can help I've got a lot of connections," said Samantha before making sure he got the point with direct eye contact with him.
The whitelighter wanted always to help people and tried to be positive in her tone with him.

The question that was asked, but it was completely weird. "Trust me where I'm going warmth won't be a problem with the person I want revenge against. My father and my brother." he replied with no emotion as his eyes darkened at the thought of them he could feel his blood heat. Every time he remembers what happens from what he has done to him it makes him really angry. "He tortured me to see my limitations in the past and from what of the bits and pieces of it death is me being generous. No offense to you and ways, but I won't feel at peace until I'm the one to kill him. And that isn't far for the demon me that is just me. And I am not clouded in any way."
Darek's fist were clecnthed hard agains his skin that his nails dug into his palm. Blood was soon leaking from his palms. "Sorry about that." Darek had to ignore the blood lust brewing inside of him. That was his curse revenge, blood lust, and damnation. This was his life for who knows how long?
