Running through the forest the dirt underneath him it cleared Darek's mind from everything. As he avoided being hit by trees and tripping on uprooted roots and rocks he jumped over and ducked. He was trying to get to his favorite spot where he could see the Moon perfectly. It was a beautiful sight were no one ever came he called it, 'Hej'kya' which means 'peace' in his language. An extremely old language that he himself doesn't speak out loud. It seemed to have lost all meaning when no one else was a Dhy'lphis. There was so much that he hated about the Dhy'lphis even if he was that race. It bored him, they always did the same thing. Some of them anyway, but that was far from the point.
At last he reached his spot it was lovely it was like a field. It was at the far end of the San Fransisco where nature could be free without the harming human beings. There were three large stone towers that circle a dais. Staring at that dais Darek inhales a breath it doesn't take him long to get here as long as it would a human. Walking slowly toward it he touches the hard earth dais. Jumping onto it he sits until the Moon is in sight no tree or light could block the scene. Soon the full Moon was shining high above the sky. Soon he sensed someone, well smelled actually. A tanto was close by his side as he looked around and saw no one. "Come out, come out where every you are..." he replied as he shifted into a half-snake, half-human form. Garnet eyes with slit pupils, and snake scales.

She was in a tree high up in the forest. Her eyes were swift to see that there was something running through the forests that had alarmed her. Without thinking, her instincts immediately kicked in and she swiftly jumped from one tree to the other, with her body folding around tree limbs without hurting herself. She smirked, wondering why such a man would be running through the forests in such a fashion, without knowing the dangers of this forest that she herself had to be careful in.
She stopped, standing on a tree branch staring down at the man as he began to speak as if expecting someone. She then was surprised to see his sudden turn in form that made her question who he was exactly. She waited in the tree, wanting to see what this man had planned.

A female. Darek thought as he sat there his eyes fixed on one position he was letting his sense of smell and hearing find who he wanted to find. This person couldn't hide for long, but in a way it didn't matter she smelled demon. Or something mystical all that mattered to him was that she wasn't human. If she was there could be a lot of problems and he would have made this place bloody. As he finally pinpoints the woman's location he smiles. Jumping down from the dais Darek goes into a crouch position he begins to run toward the tree she was on. With a touch of his hand Darek focused on the natural poisons in his own body focusing them out from his pores. The tree began to rot.
"You know why is such a cute one like you dealing in a place like this?" he asked before backing up. Ever since the battle with a witch Darek had to learn exactly how to fight more proficiently with his powers. If not for a slight mastery of hand-to-hand combat from being trained by demonic monks that barely allowed him any flaws. It was completely terrible, but now he is far from that place. The tree slowly deteriorates he backs up even father. It would probably make a terrible fall and would still hurt if he ever got under it. Best to avoid all accidents. "You seem bored. Or am I jumping to conclusions?"

Cobrel was still in the tree when she had noticed that he had sensed her, immediately, she prepared herself for an attack, crouching down with her eyes turning a bright purple and with toxins now as her saliva. If this was not careful he would just be another number to the list of people that died by her bite. Only he seemed different as he came over and posioned the tree she was on, forcing her to jump down right behind him with her hands at her waist and her head in the air. "Maybe you are!" Cobrel stated as she replied to his statement of her being bored.

His garnet eyes turned to face her, a beautiful purple that is been seen by an even beautiful woman. It really wasn't a shock to him. Darek opened his mouth showing his fangs. Not to show off, but to be ready for what she does. He would need to react as soon as possible, but he would need to let her attack first. That was the only way he battles. Attacking first was the worse things that he doesn't need to do. As he breathes in then out he concentrates on his current situations. His hands fallen to his side, eyes staring deeply into hers. "So was I wrong about you being bored or wrong about me accusing you of being bored." Darek his self was becoming confused as his mouth remains open.

Standing there in the back of her mind she began to size him up, wondering what he was truly about. Upon him showing his fangs, she took a small step back as she realized that this man may be just like her, a snake in the grass ready to attack its prey. "It depends on where you want to take this conversation." Cobrel stated aggressively. She had realized that the man was giving her the same attitude that she usually gave off to others, and so the message was clearly recieved by him. Only, she wouldn't show the fear like most other men do when approached by her in these situations.

"Oh this conversation could go many places, we could possibly attack each other and fight until one of us is in a puddle of their own blood. Or we could just talk and have a real conversation. Or even another thought we could just let the breeze flow through us and watch the Moon?" His suggestions were more of him being a smart ass as people tell him. But that is just him, Darek sometimes prefers a civilized talk instead of fighting. Unless the person he was trying to talk to was just as stubborn as him. That was always terrible and impossible to go through. Darek just hoped she wasn't completely like him if so this could just go even more ways than he stated.
Smiling with just his lips he moves closer to Cobrel her scent was slightly even more familiar as he walks up to her. Shifting back to his human form he laughs, "So what is your name I imagine you at least have a name." Darek replied as he continued to walk closer stopping just about three feet away, "I'm Darek, but you can call me Dur." names mean everything to some. And Darek was one of those. If anyone could ever figure out Darek's real whole full name they would have control over him. The reason why he varies through different names. He was carefully to who he told his real name to, foster name, and preferred name.

Cobrel's eyebrows spoke for her as the boy before her spoke. He seemed much like a badass like she was, without a care in the world. She was not sure that they would click as much as Cobrel was always on the offensive and if this slither skin was thin, then he would be offended more times than not. She allowed her chin to raise in the air and offered a smirk to add to the already pompous behaviour she was giving off.
As he came up to her and sniffed her, Cobrel couldn't help but to think that this man had lost his mind. No one was allowed to come this close to her without first being properly vetted by her own standards. In the two minutes they stood here this man had broke more rules about her than anyone else before. "Cobrel." She stated, not extending her hands and keeping her statements short. "Call me Cobra...Darek." She stated with special emphasis on his real name than his nickname.
"I'd prefer to remain silent as the wind passes us by, but clearly that wont work as someone here is too chatty." She hissed, turning her back towards him.

"You know, that kind of hurt my feelings." Darek said with a laugh. He wasn't that easily angered but it was aalways interesting to have an argument, conversation, or even a debate. When repressing emotions it allowed more of a clear head. Or so he was told before. There was something about this woman that made him want to actually fight with her to see which one would breakdown first. It would be the battle of the minds, but not now it was too much of a lovely peaceful night it wasn't a night to fight. No not yet and not here.
"This is a nice place though." he said softly before walking pass Cobrel, "Cobrel, Cobra, huh. That seems to match the scent of your your snake-ish half?" Darek replied as he saw the Moon hiding above the trees. The Moon was one of the reasons he stayed in the human world, there was no nature down below. There was nothing down below period it was just red walls and mazes of torture. A few demon feedings, rituals, and old plotting for world domination. It was just all to average.

Cobrel gazed at the boy as he walked right pass her. It was a strange move to her as many men wouldn't have the balls enough to even look at her directly in the eyes. Nonetheless, she turned and took a step behind him as she too stared up at the moon peering out between the trees. "You know a lot about snakes, Darek?" She asked, ignoring his previous sentiments of him being insulted by her earlier remarks. She practically didnt care, or maybe she did and didnt want to.
"What else does my...my scent tell you Darek?" Cobrel smirked as she stared at the back of the man's head, allowing her hands to remain at her waist with her right leg absorbing much of her weight as she leaned forward.

"No not really, I'm more into the aspects of snakes to be more specific their poison." Darek was always interested in new types of venom and antidotes. Venoms can affect so much of the body that Darek was trying to create his own toxin that could lead up to mind control. Not ever person with power needed to find cures right? It didn't matter why would he need to do such trivial things not just yet. Darek had to make sure his mind was clear and no one would stop him from interfering with his goals. But whatever until those days come he would just have to wait it out.
"Lets see what else can I smell..." taking a moment to absorb the scent and analyze Darek smiled. "Oh...not much...female...age...somewhere...between five hundred and six hundred years old. And you are a...a...wait I don't know your species scent?!" That took Darek quite by surprise as he took a staggering step back. He could never be too careful when encountering a new species.

Cobrel knew that her kind's uprising from the split of Avalon led to much mysteries in the Magical Community, and so she appreciated the fact that she was somewhat unknown, unheard of in the realms of this new generation. She smirked, realizing that the man was correct in all of his assertions, even though she realized that he moved much to slow for her liking, unlike the many others that would've probably have their pants down to their knees at this instance. "You sound surprise." Cobrel stated, taking joy in the fact that he knew her not.

"Of course I'm surprised my dear. Or I wouldn't have had by OH MY ATHENA look on my face." he replied his eyes still wide then laughed before getting back a serious face. "But yes apparently I don't know you...maybe my older side would. But hey. What else can I do?" he informed Cobrel. "You are more interesting than I thought." Darek said. Looking into the sky he saw the Moon as it was getting almost into position. Running toward the dais he jumps onto it and stands up high and tall. Soon the Moon was directly over the dais and Darek began to chant in another language. Almost in a trance like state he collapses on the dais half asleep half awake.
