Good point there. He's right <_< Werewolves and Vampires already spawn with a nice power set that only gets better as they age so giving them more powers is like.. alot. XD

So then that's settled. Vampires and Werewolves don't get additional powers to go alongside their own given powers. If a Vampire opts to have a power and Staff sees it suitable, it will be awared but this will happened every so rarely.

Yeps so this would be for future werewolves and Vampires, not effecting the ones I have or what you have or others. Question, regarding powers...just in case if I think of bringing my wolf in, the shifting into actual wolf, that would be one of his given powers right?

I like the idea of elementals having one element then picking either somesort of elemental transportation or element acclimation becoming their element. In the books which had a gathering of elementals for a ceremony they had one main element that they controlled. the only problem is this will make this site identical almost in rules and almost plot with blessings. One thing I liked about this site was the openess on what powers a character can get.

Ok then, the system stays, but...I am bent on Vampires and Werewolves not getting additional powers. Think about it and you can agree. The powers may not be what you want but guess what, becoming a werewolf or a vampire isn't something one anticipates to work in their favour. If they choose the life they get the pros and cons and that's something you have to live with.

Yep that's how I see it, that's how I do with my vampires. Each of my vampires has a different powers. No one has the amount like Akasha does or Lestat since no one can be that powerful, same as on here. So I'm okay with the powers my vampires has. I could only get one last one for Jonathan but that would be it for him since he would just have the ones he has. Same with my other chars. I think we all agree on it and I'm glad we're all working on to make sure everyone is on the same page.
I wonder, what about when someone signs on? What do you guys think when the bio is up? Do we have the admins pick the powers or the people?

I think that it should stay the way it is because people come on here to enjoy themselves and should be able to pick their powers however it has to be raced base for exampled a elemental wouldn't be able to orb.

Race based sounds good, but I was really a fan of how it was before having to "unlock" powers simply because you could build your character up however you wanted. While I'm sure that gives powers to those who shouldn't have them, you could simply keep doing the RP sample to make sure that the person requesting certain powers is capable of them.

Khoua, u just got me thinking. The thing is, no one is ever fully ready, not even the slightest bit, ready to take on new powers. Look at Piper when she first started combusting things. I am for letting the system remain...but, they start out with a single power. That is my suggestion. If one creates a character such as an Upper Level Demon, he can request special permission to have an additional two or three powers.
I was also thinking about whitelighters and darklighters...that is, giving them their full stack of powers.
The thing with the powers is what Khoua pointed out. Unlocking them. You can't just know how to use a power just upon getting it. It will take some getting used to, it would probably make things difficult, like with Piper who was afraid to freeze stuff for fear of blowing them up. We just got to be realistic.
Another issue I have is with elementals. I feel they should be able to control only one element. I highly doubt that there is enough balance for an elemental to have hydrokinesis and pyrokinesis.
