Helena was confused. The night had started out so perfect and now it seemed to have been ruined. Could it have all been an act on his part? She stood next to Chace waiting for him to say or do something but he just remained so still and quiet. "Chace?" she said hesitantly, reaching out and touching his shoulder. At her touch he sighed, seeming to come to a decision and after a few seconds spoke but still he didn't look at her. She listened intently as he spoke, hoping to pick up some clue to as to what was going on and trying not to fear the worse. 'Different?' she thought unsure of what he was getting at. Of course she had found some things a little strange about him, primarily the absence of family and his reluctancy to talk about it. But they were lots of people who didn't like to talk abou t their family lives and she had always figured that he would tell her when he was ready. "You can tell me anything, you know that." she said when he paused. Before she could respond to him saying he had gifts he had taken her hand and for a split second Lena was surrounded by complete darkness and had the sensation of mioving at an impossible speed, instinctively she had closed her eyes. When she reopened her eyes, the street in front of Quake was gone. Lena instantly recognised the place. How many evenings had she spent here in this private spot of the park with Chace, in his arms. 'But that's impossible!' she thought. She knew that the park was all the way across the city from Quake, at least an hour anda half's drive. She spun around looking at the new surroundings in disbelief. Before she could ask him how, he answered her unspoken question. "Helena.. I'm a Warlock......Didn't you ever wonder why I never blinked, at all?" "Oh." she said weakly in a quiet voice, "I always wondered b...but never really thought about it. I just figured it was one of your quirks." Her voice shook slightly as she spoke He didn't need to explain any further. One of the first pages in the Book of Shadows explained what a warlock was.....and their purpose. Her legs felit like water as she remembered the page, key points jumping out at her in her mind. Warlocks are an evil race of magical beings. When a witch crosses the line and abuses their magic to harm others. They will fall to the darkness and become a warlock.
~
They look and act human but have on very specific and dangerous goal -- to kill good witches and steal their powers. At the point of death a warlock caprtures the magic flowing from a witch's body, obtaining their abilities
~
Like Witches, Warlocks possess a wide variety of individual powers as well as the ability to perform magical feats, such as spell casting. She even remembered the spell to vanquish them. 'The Power of Three will set us free.' she thought. Chace spoke again and brought her out of her thoughts. She stared at him as if seeing him for the first time as she sank down on the nearby park bench. Her mind drifted back over all the time they had spent together and she wondered if he did know her secret and if their whole relationship had been a lie, him just waiting for the perfect moment to steal her powers. Wondering, if now was the moment. 'No!' she argued with herself. Despite what she now knew she couldn't bring herself to belief that none of it had been real. That Chace was evil. For one thing, he seemed just as worried about her reaction as she had been about his when she told him that she was a witch, a Charmed One. For another, why now? She had had her powers for months now and he would have had plenty of chance to have stolen them all the times they had been alone together. Why even tell her what he was, instead of just attacking if her powers was what he was after? It didn't make sense. Even now, he didn't seem to have any idea that she was a witch. Maybe, she was grasping at straws and refusing to se the truth but after all this time, Lena couldn't and wouldn't forget all they shared and believe that they were enemies. "Chace..." she began. She knew that if she was wrong, she was putting her entire family at risk just like she had feared but she loved him and had to know for sure. She had to try. Tonight all would at last be put out on the table, the truth revealed, no turning back. "I know what a Warlock is." she said softly, "By all rights I should be running in the opposite direction especially because of what I am but I can't believe that what I know is true for you." She paused, tears beginning to form at the corner of her eyes, "I can't believe that all of this has been a lie, you just bidding your time and getting closer to me to make it all the easier for you to strike. I'm too in love with you to believe that and not give you the benefit of doubt or maybe I'm too in love with you to see the truth. Either way I need to know the truth. Our relationships has meant too much to me for me not to hope and try." She paused her heart thundering in her chest for even though she didn't want to believe it, she knew that this could be a collosal mistake that would lead to her end. She only hoped that her family would be okay if she was wrong and they wouldn't suffer for her mistake. She took a deep breath before speaking again. "I have wanted for so long to tell you this, to tell you the truth but I never could, I was always too afraid of losing you. If I''m wrong, I never really had you to lose but I have to believe that you really are in love with me like I'm in love with you so that's why I'm taking this chance and why I'm telling you now." She paused, "Chace...I'm a witch."

It hurt, everything hurt. It was painful to hear the weak tone in her voice, knowing that she was probably questioning it all. She thought of him as a monster, for some reason he felt it. It was probably not actually coming from here though, it was probably all just false fears clogging up his mind. What was he to do? Laugh this all off and hope that it was just a bad dream? The idea was laughable, so instead all he could do is choke. A tiny sound would escape him as he tried to speak however the words would not form upon his tongue. "I-I.." he started slowly, trying so hard. Why did words always fail when you needed them most? It was so irritating, his anger level rising however it was with himself. "I'm sorry.." he replied weakly not knowing what else to say. "I tried to tell you, so many times. It's just.. seeing the way my mother reacted to my father.. I was scared." he said in a defeated tone.
The images swam within his head, he could not make them stop nor would he even try. "She was so disgusted, it drove her to madness. They fought.. and he killed her." he said slowly. "She died because of this secret.. I didn't want the same for you." he said with a look of longing and sadness in his eyes. It was burning inside of him, this deep regret for not having done this sooner. Perhaps then it would not hurt so bad, however the relationship could not have taken this hit at all. Fear was the only thing he could feel, fear of losing her. He was good, all good, or so he thought. He could feel it within his very core, he would always be good just so that he could be with her. However he knew what he was suppose to be, but he could not do it. There was never any excuse to take a life, not even for ones own power greed.
"Please.. stay.." he whispered weakly as he reached out to her. All he wanted was her within his arms, thats all he needed. Pulling her closer, against his own judgement he would stroke her hair softly. "I know it seems bad, but you know who I am. You've seen me, I'm not any different then when I go home at night.." he said with a pleading tone as if he was trying to convince her that he was not bad. He should not have to do this, she could tell he knew deep within. She was fighting better sense, just because even she could feel that he was what he said he was. He was not ruled by evil emotions like his own brethern, he was above it all. "Trust in our love, I would not lie to you that way. You don't mess with someones heart, I could never do such a thing.." he pleaded just to possibly disuade her from what he felt was coming. What he wished for more then anything now was invisibility.
“I'm a Witch.”
His gasp was audible, shocking, and real. His eyes widened as he held her at arms length, believing he had heard it all. "You mean.. I'm not alone? That you're like me!?" he asked suddenly, his face lightening only a little. Perhaps this would explain everything, the secrecy and abrupt absences. "All this time.. your sisters and your mother too?" he asked with a surprised tone. How could he have never noticed that it was so weird, even the strange book he had never questioned assuming that it was an old heirloom. Oh yes, he had seen it when he was snooping when he shouldn't have been. He had been curious, it was natural. He had even managed to touch it, however he wasn't aware of the anti evil. "Thats wonderful really.. that means that I was not the only one. This was not all a lie, it was just a misunderstanding.." he rationed to himself slowly. "I love you Helena, believe me.. I had no idea.." he said slowly as he tried to kiss her, hopefully making things calm, a little.

Lena listened intently as Chace spoke. For the first time she truly understood why family was always a topic he avoided and why a shadow always came across his face for at least a second when the topic came up. No one should have to go through what he had. She could only imagine what a burden it had been all this time for him to carry, unable to tell anyone.
'Oh, Chace.' she thought. She could barely fathom the tremendous pain he had gone through.
Lena had let him pull her into his arms and she stood with him, her head resting against his chest as he stroked her hair.
"I do." she said finally, "Its okay. I believe you and I'm not going anywhere."
When what she had revealed seemed to finally hit home she watched his reaction carefully, still a little afraid that it would send him running for the hills. The relief that washed through her made her feel light- headed
"No you're not alone," she said smiling, "and not all this time for all of us. My mom and dad, yes but me and my sisters only found out and got our powers a couple months ago. We're...well, we're the new generation of Charmed Ones. Our parents bound our powers when me and Holly were born to protect us." She paused before continuing, "I wanted to tell you the moment I found out, I really did but I didn't know how to. I hated having to lie to you but I was so afraid that it would freak you out and that you would leave me. I'm so glad that everything is out in the open now."
She knew what he was up too and smiled as he once gain pulled her close. The relief and happiness she felt in that moment was paramount.
"I love you, too, Chace." she told him staring straight into his eyes and meaning her words with all her heart and soul.
Lena closed the last bit of distance between them and let their lips meet in a kiss.

A sea of relied washed over him when she said that, she was going nowhere. He could only smile as he stood within her grasp. A Warlock with a Witch, no that was not how he should have thought of it. Instead he would think of it simply as a man with the most amazing women in the world, yes that was all that stood here now. The veil of alienation had lifted from him, he was now able to feel like she could relate to him which would help things along. "I guess now that we don't have to hide things, we can relate to each other on a whole new level. Now I don't have to wonder about whats going on and have you not able to tell me." he said with a slow tone as he stood there embracing her. "I see, so that explains why you seemed to become a little "Distant" lately when I asked what was wrong. I had thought that it was me." he said slowly as he sighed, a giant relief sigh.
The Charmed Ones, that was a big deal. She would have the Underworld after here for the rest of her life most likely, something that made him sigh. He could not want a life like that for her, it was stressful and quite dangerous. Running his fingers through her hair he would smile. "Thats quite a job.. just make sure that you take it easy, carefully." he said with a stern tone as he chuckled a little, unable to keep up his visage for long. That was what he loved about standing within her presence, he could never feel too sad, never feel angry. It was like she somehow drew these things right out go him, making him unable to feel negative emotions. However, another thought came to mind as he looked into her eyes, what could she do? Surely as one of the Charmed Ones she had some sort of ability to that made her dangerous besides her magic? "Helena.. what exactly can you do with your magic? I was curious as to what abilities a Charmed One even had.." he asked slowly.
[OOC: Sorry, a little short x.x busy with family.]

Lena closed her eyes as he stroked her hair. Everything was out in the open. The secrets and lies could finally stop. She didn't care that he was a Warlock and that she was a witch. He was still the same person that she had fallen in love with before any of this had happened and she would continue to love him. She opened her eyes as he spoke exactly what she was thinking out loud.
"No more secrets or lies." she said softly, "It was never you. It could never be you. You were the one thing that remained constant when everything else was turned upside down. Knowing you were there for me was the one thing that kept me sane and helped me to go on. I'm so glad that you know the truth now. I love you so much, Chace."
She smiled as he put on a stern face and spoke again.
"You know me." she said, "I'm always careful and safe. Besides I have my sisters so what could go wrong."
She grinned at him, so glad that she no longer had to live a souble life when it came with him. Her greatest fear had been put to rest. He knew the truth and loved her all the same.
When he asked of her powers, she hesitated. It was perfectly normal and understandable question considering what they had revealed to each other. The problem was what talking about it would bring back up but Chace deserved the truth. Hadn't she just said that there would be no more secrets and lies?
"Premonition." she responded, "That's my Charmed power. We have other powers but they haven't manifested yet so for right now we just have our main Charmed power." She paused before continuing in a quieter voice, "My dad had premonition too. He had only just started to train me when he died, we never even got a quarter way through before he was...was killed."
She was remembering seeing her dad's lifeless body, laying broken on the floor. The flash she had had right before that allowed her to see the exact moment that the final blow was struck and he died.
"When he died, I inherited his Amara Gem of Light, becoming its new guardian." She continued quietly fighting back the tears as she touched the spot where she knew the gem dwelled inside her, "It gives me the power to orb just like it did for him."

Well then, that made things alot easier on him. He had always thought that maybe there was something about him that made it harder to tell secrets to, or perhaps it was about him. A sigh would escape his lips for a moment, glad for the air of honesty that was now about them. This was only the first of few problems, he knew this. How would the other sisters.. or even Lauren react to his secret? He knew that would probably be less then thrilled, not even Silver had been aware of what he was this whole time. “Now the only question I have is.. how do we tell your family?” he asked in a low tone. Always something else that had to come along and present a challenge to the young couple. “I'm sure they wouldn't be too thrilled to find out.. what I am that is..” he said in a low tone, almost sounding like shame. In many ways he was, he hated what he was labelled as, hence why he tried to hide it and rarely use his powers.
“Ha.. yeah. I suppose there is saftey in numbers. Just remember there are always those out there that are powerful beyond imagination.” he said with a deep sigh. He had encountered one of those people, however he would not speak of that. The man had actually threatened him, trying to get the location of the Charmed Ones. Chace had no idea what the man had been going on about back then, but now it all made sense. He should have connected the dots himself, however for some reason it did not register. "Helena.. you guys need to be careful. There was a man asking about the Charmed Ones awhile back. He wore robes like an Upper Level Demon.." he said in a grave tone. It felt nice to be able to dicuss this, yet at the same time it cast a foreboding outlook on things. Their life would be riddled with those who wished for nothing more then to see them fall apart, demons who would try and take her from him.
Chace nodded slowly to her powers. That would explain why she had never truly had an accidental use in his presence. Her major power was not an active one, which suited her quite well. With a smile he would remember the times she'd randomly jump and let out a shriek, so thats what that was. “I see. Well it's only fair you can see what else I can do.” he said softly. He would not tell her about his ability to sway decisions, he felt that it might have been a little unnerving to anyone. Smirking, he would begin to gather electrical energy within his hand. Loud sizzling sounds would resound into the quiet night air as the bright azure light illuminated both their faces. “I have the ability to manipulate and control Electrical currents as well as Blinking.. as you saw.” he said as he shook his hand, making the electricity vanish. “How do we break the news?”
