TIME DOESN'T WAIT...
[/size]The tired lamppost that stood just above where Raze stood with the girl’s body became the center for the Black Rapide as it had pulled up right against the emergency fire exit. They were moving swiftly, trying to get the girl from Eryn’s house as quickly and as sharply as they could, they couldn’t risk it. It wasn’t always this easy when Aiden sent someone on a task. It often called for higher levels of planning including first second and third ways in which to maneuver. As Raze stood beneath the lamp’s focus, he became increasingly surprised at the effort that went by without a hitch.
Raze: Let’s go.
He said hastily in his deep dark voice as he was now sitting on the leather seats with the girl motionless on his lap. It was here that he began to take more notice to her fine complexion and the length of her neck that seemed to disappear into her plump breasts. Her slumber displayed a beautiful innocence that had caused Raze to fall soft of the deep dark voice he had just exemplified. There was something about her that made Raze continue to look down upon her in deep thought. He could tell that she was…was special.
Eryn: Raze!
Her call seemed ignored.
Eryn: Raze!
She tries again to no avail. Raze’s eyes meeting just the opening of the woman’s pupils as he could tell that she was slowly progressing from the drug they had given her. But Eryn refused to be ignored, kicking the back of Raze’s chair so much that his head knocked against the polished dashboard in front of him.
Raze: What the hell’s your problem?
Eryn: You’re my problem! Are we taking her to the Underground or to the House?
Raze’s expression showed the difficulty he had taken with Eryn’s wakeup call and the car’s silence was in agreement that the delicate argument between the two was too fragile to explode to intervene.
Raze: Underground…where else?!
The car took up speed as Alex showed his great skill in maneuvering a car through the busy weekend streets. Within moments, the flashing lights of passing buildings and the honks of overtaken cars all stopped for them to drive into an utterly dark cave which came to life with the Rapide parking in its center.
Lyn: I’ll take her to The Spot. Hand her over.
She said as if the girl was a piece of object. The Underground was specifically designed for their work which they must keep secret and only high profile captives were sent to the Spot and usually, this was a security measure to ensure that firstly they don’t escape but additionally so that they can ensure they are paid. The Underground’s silver plated walls splashed with daggers of black against the dusty brown background of the cave were almost as if it was a laboratory of high profile weapons and spies. The space was filled with electric shock guns, ammunition, guns, a backup car and motorcycles and not to mention the perks of a flat screen television, sofa, video games and a newly installed gym. It was here that the gang usually met, and its secrets which each swore with blood were not to be told beyond the room in which each stood now, the front entrance.
Raze: Careful with her.
He said as he watched her being taken away by Lyn to the Spot. Had he his own way, she would be resting against the sofa, for some odd reason he was questioning Aiden’s choice of this woman, and he had never done so since he started this work. But he couldn’t allow his concern to be expressed on his face outright. In fact, he toughened them at the mention of The Spot. The almost empty black room with a simple chair and black walls which was lit by a mere two candles next to a metal window provided an asylum with no chance of escape, unless, of course, assisted by one of them and that would never happen.
Eryn: He seems a bit too concerned about the rag
Alex: It’s a woman and it’s Raze, no surprise there.
Alex says jokingly of his brother as he looked up from shooting pool into the face of Eryn who had just grabbed her stick.
Eryn:I guess you’re right. We can’t screw this one up, it’s for…for Aiden.
Aiden had a history with the gang. They were not always the first he would call for support. In fact, he often discouraged their hire. But how could you blame him? They had allowed a fugitive to escape right from within their grips and he had let loose of Aiden’s own men. But since that day, they had been working even more so than ever to ensure that such a failure would never happen again.
Raze: Yes, yes, we have her in possession [on the phone]…Tonight?
He pauses for a moment to rush over to where the others had congregated and called them closer to the phone, mouthing to them the words of Emelia on the phone. They all nodded in agreement that the final part could be done this night and a sudden burst of happiness began to overflow within the group. And even before Raze could hang up properly, as soon as he had removed the phone from his ears, they had surrounded him with happiness and joy.
They were happy, he was not. The expression on his face was a display that maybe he couldn’t do it. A look of worry overcame him and no one noticed…except Eryn.

Raze: I will go and prepare her for the Lord.
Raze spoke once again in a deep masculine voice over the loud cries of triumph and celebration. The celebration was not simply that they was getting the job done, but more specifically that they would be blessed and paid even before the day stroke to a new dawn. They were two hours from midnight.
Eryn: No! Maybe I should…
Eryn’s sharp and immediate reaction to Raze had suggested that she knew that he would only be there to admire her instead of prepare her. The look he had when she was laced only in a bra, the look he had while they were driving here, and the look he had when he had heard the news about later tonight, was sufficient for Eryn’s face to show her vex. There was something suspicious, she thought, with Raze’s reactions, and she would get to the bottom of it.
Raze: Eryn, why not go and prepare the vehicle?
Eryn: Why not you prepare the weapons?
The atmosphere of the room had changed, and the small pool area in which they had once assembled for a small game, had turned into a playground of tension where Alex could see was headed into a direction that would be far from amicable. He intervened using his hands as if to separate the two, his hands pressing against the muscular chest of Raze and onto the delicate and perfectly formed breast of Eryn.
Alex: Relax…we won! Let’s just have a good time and celebrate? Okay?
He then turns to the two of them, still with his hands outstretched as he looked into the eyes of the two. His position as referee always seemed to chase him.
Eryn:Fine.
She says in finality as she had folded her arms in an expectation to hear the same from Raze’s lips. But such was unsuccessful as he looked at Alex and then at Eryn and then walked away. He was headed to The Spot. His loud pounds against the marble tiles suggested his anger and his leap from the top of the stair to the bottom displayed his bottle power that he was containing. Eryn’s walk in the opposite direction and to the Rapide showed her disappointment once again in the group choosing sides and more time than not, it was she who was on the losing side. Tying her straightened locks into a ponytail with one of her hands with the other pressed against the door of the car, she stared at her reflection against the car’s tinted glass.
Eryn: They’ll see.
Alex had begun to relax himself, loosing his black buttoned shirt so much that his gray tight undershirt that was worn beneath it was shown, reflecting the obvious time he spent dedicated to his workout. His ripped chest and toned muscular abs often landed him enticement with the ladies, and his promiscuity had been heightened more in the last few weeks than it has ever been. The others were beginning to gather the weapons, the automatics and the detonators, because from experience, they knew that their abduction of the girl was just the first step. Getting her to the specified location was a completely different story. And by now, they all had expected the police and other species to be alert for their presence and their captive.
Lord Aiden and his wife didn’t care much about the process. They were preparing themselves for the girl and the treasure that would come along with her. They were used to this, especially Emelia. Her expertise had landed Raze in the position he was in now. They had shut down the main functions of the house to ensure that everything was safe. Lord Aiden had called for his reinforcements and spies to be on the lookout for the gang, although he had worked with them a long time he didn’t trust them. He trusted no one beyond his wife. He had changed into a black robe that covered him from his neck and extended backwards so much that it had to be carried by his hands’ men. He had done away with the normal draperies that were in the court room and instead filled with guards and men with high artillery. A cage was in place for the girl and the halls were decked with some of Aiden’s most accounted achievements. His wife was running the second plan. She was much softer and Aiden knew that she would not appreciate what he had in store had the girl not been return by Midnight. It was 11:12pm. The house was almost pitch black except that one room, and Lord Aiden had ensured that it was so. He had come down from his bedroom, kissing his wife who had stained his pale cheeks with her black lipstick and Lord Aiden did not much more than to extend his affection by offering a lengthy nibble on her ear.
Raze looked up at the clock that hung solo against the empty mundane walls, it was 11:20pm. He knew that any minute now they would be on the wild adventure of delivering the girl, whose body lay against a hard concrete bench to the Lord. He stood above her and admired the curves of her body, and her long legs that was missing one of the pair of the black high heeled shoes she was wearing to serve them. She had began to fidget as he expected as her back was in a awkward position amount perpendicular to the small concrete she lay on. And then it happened. It was 11:23pm and her eyes opened wide and the first thing that his eyes met with hers. The stare she gave him said everything and the tremble of her lips suggested her speech was slurred and the state of shock was almost too much for her to function. There was something about her, but he couldn’t name it and it caused a pounding in his head as he heard a pounding against the stairs suggesting that they were coming down to tell him it was time. It was 11:26pm.
Lyn: Raze….its…
She paused. Shocked. The room was empty. The window that was once jailed with metal had been broken and the only thing left of someone ever existing here was a torn from a piece of fabric stuck in the window.
Lyn: Eryn! Alex! Get down here now!
She said screaming, running up the stairs to where they were.
Lyn: The room’s empty! Raze is gone!
It was 11:29pm.
