"Jesus kid, do you ever stop winning?"
A man sitting next to Khoua stared incredulously at him as it seemed with every hand he seemed to win. Black Jack was his game, or so it was lately. It'd been a long road for Khoua, having lost his father and mother now, he was so unsure of who or what he was. He'd clipped his wings, unsure of how to even go about getting them back nor did he care to right now. Of course this didn't make the demon half go away, no, if anything it made it's influence even greater. "I guess some are just born lucky." said Khoua in a low tone, not really caring what the man had to say.
His brown eyes would stare blankly at the cards as the dealer shuffled, sipping his Long Island Ice Tea abesent mindedly. Alcohol, gambling, and women were how he spent his little absence. Nodding at the dealer, he'd recieve his cards, an Ace and a five. Wrinkling his nose he'd look up to the deal for a moment with a sigh. He didn't really care if the others could call his bluffs, he didn't care about the money, the women, or the drinks. "Hit me." he'd mutter softly as the dealer slid him another card, a King. 'Are you kidding me? Shit..' thought Khoua as he sighed and looked at his hand for awhile.
"Hit me." he'd repeat once more, a very foolish mistake. With those two words, he'd lose the Two grand fortune he'd just made today. With those two words he'd effectively kill his own luck spree. "Figures, what a shitty day. Maybe I'll go check out that one womans fashion show." he muttered, thinking about the lovely woman who wandered around Sahara's modelling agency. He'd managed to pick up one for about a week, then she grew sick of his drinking and gambling, leaving him.
"Is there anything that can end this misery.." he groaned as he scanned the room, drinking his Long Island.

Alex entered from the bathrooms, towards the front part of the casino. He didn't feel like gambling but he did feel like watching some people winning and perhaps he would at one moment take a jab at it. He stopped and spots Khoua Jr. looking around and smiled big at the sight of his friend. Or does he still remember him? Since time rewound everything somewhat changed. As he is part of the collective he didn't change one bit but there were some people who did still remember him. Maybe Khoua would but he is glad to see his friend once more. "Hey!" he shouted, waving his arm at him. Hopefully he would remember him or he'd be an idiot for doing that. He ran up to Khoua and sat down next to him. "How are you? You okay?" Yep he surely hope he would remember him.

"Someones talking to me.."
He muttered as he slowly turned to face the voice, matching it to a boy running over towards him. Eyeing him slowly, Khoua would let his gaze linger lazily for a second before going back to drinking. "Yo." he'd say with a lazy, tired tone as Alex took a seat next to him. Alex, yes he remembered him somewhere inside, yet his apathy didn't allow for such emotions to actually come to the surface. His tortured soul, full of confusion and hatred for all things. "How am I? Very bored, it's tempting to just take off with something expensive.." he muttered as he looked at Alex out of the corner of his eye. "Did you need something?" he'd ask with a lazy yawn as he played with his clothing, straightening it.
"What're you doing here, Alex?"

"Really? Yeah that's why I don't bother with things that are expensive but do you need help paying for something? Have some cash on me. It may not be a lot but maybe it could help. No, but I was hoping to catch up with you to see how you are doing. Uh well...this is a casino right?" he asked. Why would he ask something like that though? Okay....he shrugged his shoulders. "Guess I'm as bored as you are to come here. Here to spy on people. Just kidding. Actually was thinking to gamble some more but scared shit to lose all of my money. You're sure you're okay? I never seen you like this before."
