Lisa was fresh from coming from New York where she and Jasmine had met up. It was a bit of a strain on their friendship now that her closest friend could possibly become the next President. In fact, she thought it was weird. Nonetheless, Lisa had come back to San Francisco and really wanted to sink her feet into the sand. All of that walking on the pavement of the rushing city was taxing for her. She had allowed her hair to fall down onto her back, curled slightly. She was also wearing a rather simple white dress that she had grabbed from her apartment before she came down here. She had called Keriann over to meet her here. The two now had an instant connection that Lisa appreciated. It was hard finding a good friend these days, especially when you're Lisa Lowe. The Lisa Lowe.
She strode down the beach barefooted, placing her slippers on a rock as she noticed that the sky had darkened slightly. She sighed, knowing that this meant, although she didnt plan to, she was going to get wet. She braced herself for it, although she was unsure whether or not Keriann would be into the entire thing since she only asked her to come out for a walk.

Keriann was in wedding mood. Everything seemed as though it was up in a frenzy now with getting everything planned. She and Haden were spending less time together now because of it, because he was out running out getting all of his suits and groomsmen ready and she, measuring up for her dress and flowers and all of it. She just couldn't think about it, and hence why she was happy when Lisa had called her up to hit the beach. She thought it would've been a perfect way to escape from the troubles of having to deal with the wedding. Her parents had warned her about this, about how this could turn her into a mean demon, and she didnt even like the sound of it. And so, she was trying to relax as much as she could.
Keriann had arrived in a small SUV that she had rented for the week. Her car was down and Haden was busy on call and with the wedding and so borrowing his car wouldn't have been fair to him. She had come walking down in a simple green sleeveless dress. She too was bare feet with her hair straightened to her back. She had seen Lisa walking in the opposite direction and so she had called for her, "Lisa! Lisa!" she said screaming, running to catch her in her direction.

As Lisa was still walking barefooted on the beach, her toes sinking into the sand to her enjoyment, her had turned sharply to hear the voice of Keriann, and the girl coming running trying to catch her. Lisa only managed to smile and stop where she was, waiting for the girl to come and catch her. She was actually surprised that she could make it here, seeing that she was busy with the wedding and all. It was because of this that she had started her journey walking alone. But she was happy that Keriann had made it. She stared up at the sky and see that the clouds had already formed, but she didnt care, only allowing a smile to continue to show on her lips.

Keriann had stopped running when Lisa had stopped. She too was smiling and had noticed the weather that seemed to plague their gathering. "Hey!" she said in an excited voice, now next to the woman. "How was the trip?" she said panting, still catching her breath from the run from the car park to the girl. It seemed as though they had really gotten more close than ever before these last few weeks. She and Lisa had been doing some of the most crazy yet memorable things since they've met. She didnt regret one moment, including almost being arrested for joking around!

She had smiled with the thought of the trip. It was not an incredibly relaxed one, but it was a good one. Subconsciously, as the girl was walking next to her, Lisa grabbed her hand and as she noticed what she had done, she immediately released it, looking up at the girl and then gulped. "S-sorry." she said almost nervously and embarrassed at what she had done. Lisa had to keep her cool. Keriann was a great...great...friend of hers and although she had wished she had met her earlier and everything, the time they have spent together was the most memorable in her life and this was getting to her. "I...it was good..." she said trying to change the subject to something more comfortable.

Keriann feeling the touch of the other woman in ways that Haden had only touched her, as she had never held the hands of anyone else before, was shocked, causing her to turn towards the woman quickly with a sharp gulp. "Lisa?" Keriann said quickly and then quieted herself as she closed her eyes, walking in the other direction quickly. "I must go!" she said ending the conversation quickly as she began to walk away. She didnt know what to think. Lisa was one of her closest friends and she had been simply the best since she met her, and so she couldn't conceive of this, and her mind was hitting her with too many questions.

Lisa knew that she had allowed the moment to get the best of her, and as soon as she noticed the reaction of the girl, and that she had walked away, she became slightly angry and then turned angrily towards the girl as she was speeding off. Suddenly, Lisa biting her lips was insufficient to stop the hurl of words that came next, words that she would take back any day from saying! "Oh! So now you just walk away after all of this Keriann, and pretend as though you didnt feel this happening!" Lisa shouted as suddenly the burst of dark clouds above them burst and the rain came down.

Keriann, hearing the words of the girl and the sudden chill of raindrops falling and hitting against her skin, she turned around swiftly! Never had she been so insulted in her life and the fact that this woman whom she called her friend was making up such lies to throw in her face was disgusting to her. Keriann took a few steps back, storming in the crash of rain that was between them, the wind blowing sand as she did so. "Pretend what wasn't happening Lisa? If you ever once believed I had any sort of feelings towards you, then I'd call you delusional! Get it right Lisa, I thought you were my friend!" Keriann spat at her, her eyes showing her anger. She was saddened, hurt, and angry at the same time, she suddenly felt like vomiting.
