William stood looking around it was at a cove in the early hours as dawn came over the sea and decided it was time for a quick swim. He came up to the water as it started with one second then ten as water became one with his body and his legs molded to become a fish tail. When he ended up falling down and looked behind him what had been his body to become a golden fish tail. The merman with a smile swam out to sea for a morning swim and enjoyed as water continued to rush past him enjoying it's call. A few hours had past that caused him to recognize times for him to return and went back up to see that no one else was around. There we're no other people around when swimming up to shore then pulled himself out of the ocean and holding a hand allowed his powers to start working.
The steam started to rise as stinging increased and steam started to rise till legs appeared with a smile went to get his clothes deposited behind a nearby rock Will put on blue jean shorts and a t-shirt then went over to get a bag full of text books then started to walk up to a nearby walkway. His thoughts we're stopped when hearing a siren song then turned around to face his mother. "Hello, mother," said Will dropping his bag and then went to the edge of ocean and leaned down to eye level with a beautiful young mermaid. She went up to her son examining him for a moment and bid him come with again to their home yet he stepped back saying, "I have school you know that,".

The sun was shining bright and the feel of the warmth on her body made her smile as she began to float over the waters. No, it wasn't magick but the simple art known as surfing. Surfing was all about balance and control and learning when to adjust your movements. Most importantly...it was fun. Yes, Brenda actually managed to fit that into her schedule. The life of a hound was a hard one but little days like these when she could just enjoy time and life were worth it. Her hair, drenched in water, flowed down her back as her body was covered with a blue wet suit, boots and gloves as she noticed a wave building. Pushing her long board closer she prepped herself as a wave known as the tube made it's way over her body. Still in control she shredded it out as she just smiled.
Making her way back to the surface her feet squeaked and she looked at the beach and all it's occupants. The guys as usual made their usual rounds of look at the girl with breast game as she shook her head. Walking over to her towel, board in tow she started to dry her hair, at least where it wasn't dripping every five seconds. Her stomach had this feeling, something was here. Looking around, her eyes scanned the beach for any reason of worry. A small glance of movement was made somewhere close by and if she wasn't such a quick study, she wouldn't have caught it. Moving to a bag on the ground she reached for a two-small ...nicely carved knives and placed it in her boot for safe keeping. She had a habit of using blades and they were effective. Anything could be gutted, and whether it died from it or not wasn't the purpose more of....'Here is your gift from me to you.'
She made her stride toward the direction as she walked firmly, but also where she didn't make that much commotion. She listened as the sounds of voices grew and developed even closer.

He wasn't paying attention to anything going on around him and kept stepping back from his mother who had caused waves to come further up. Will stepped back to not get wet and glared at his mother when she just smiled saying, "Sooner or later you will come home permanently," with a demented look caused the water to come up further. The mother had powers that Will couldn't even think of because of pure blood running in her veins which ranged from controlling water and weather. "Leave me alone," said Will as he held out his hand and the water evaporated before it came any closer to him. When she wouldn't stop and one big wave came to close it was only one splash of water that caused him to end up changing. "Mother," said Will as he sighed holding out a hand steam continued to evaporate and was concentrating on getting legs back before anyone saw anything.
The young merman always worried about exposure and sighed because his mother wanted him to chose a merman's life not a human one. Will had no intention of going back into the ocean permanently and really did enjoy having a normal life on land. While it did sting she kept sending water at him trying to drag him out to sea and soon was digging his hands in the sand screaming for help, "Help,". She was causing wave after wave to come up and it wouldn't take much more to drag him out there where she had complete dominion.

Hearing help she dropped everything and began her charge to the boy, her feet feeling the effects of the sharp rocks as she avoided the pain. Sure, it hurt but more important was the person screaming. Looking closer she saw what seemed to be fins and a mermaid? A Mermaid? What? Brenda wasn't accustomed to seeing those and while she knew they were real never really encountered ones but they were worth a surplus on the magickal markets and that in of itself gave a reason for them to hide. Her eyes moved to the boy being dragged into the sea and the currents, getting stronger.
'Looks like mermaids get Pms aswell! Who would've thought?'
Running closer to the boy she slid on her knees as she grabbed a hold of his hands, gripping him tightly. She wondered what was going on abut she knew more than enough from just watching the teen yell. Teenage years, how simple and sex filled. Brenda began to have thoughts of her killing a demon by slitting it in the throat. She began to smile.
'Good times!'
Starting to pull forward, she hoped the boy could be pulled out of all this mess.
"Look kid, I need you to kick your--- What the hell!"
Great! Another mermaid, ummm merperson? Shaking her head she wouldn't judge and continued to pull with all her might, the waves of this mermaid were pretty tough. IF only Brenda was in the water enjoying this amazing tide. Right now she was focused on helping this teen out.
"I GOT YOU!"

He felt someone reaching for him and then grabbed on with all his might while the waves seemed to increase while strength seemed to wane. "Please," yelled William as he continued focus on getting away yet was tiring soon his mother would have her son back at this rate. The merman couldn't get why she was doing this and would risk their exposure yet fighting to get away from her. While focusing he didn't know what else to do he said, "Please I can't let her get me," while looking up at the woman infront o fhim. She seemed generally good and didn't seem to shock at the presence of merman which meant only one thing. The woman knew about magic and just kept screaming for her to pull as waves kept trying to pull him into the deep abyss below.
