The cool February night air rushed through the city that laid beneath the darkening sky. Many innocents moving in from finishing their long days in hopes of simply sitting back and relaxing at home. Other innocents were just waking and going out for their jobs or perhaps to simply party. It seemed like life never really stopped though as the cycle went around and around. The nightlife was something greeted happily by some, Lexie being that some. Without the life at night, she wouldn't find anything interesting to really do. No life always meant boredom and boredom was something simply not acceptable in Lexie's little books. After all, she's dumped people for being a boring lump on a log. Stirring within her comfortable bed, she found herself alone as her mate was no where to be found. This oddly didn't really surprise her as she laid there in her bed, her pale body only hidden by the blankets of her bed. Violet eyes stared up at the ceiling as she laid their for a few more moments, pondering what her night was going to be filled with. Though, she rarely planned out everything. Being spontaneous was part of the thrill of each day. She could already feel the soft light of the moon just beyond the rooftop, though it was probably more so instinct of knowing it was there than anything else. Wiggling in her bed a few times, she finally got the energy to get out as she tossed the sheets aside and simply rolled her ass out of bed, quite literally rolled too. With elegance and grace, she landed on her feet and stood up as she moved off towards the shower, her blond hair draping over her petite breasts and down her bare back. She has a small frame, this was true, but it was still a very lethal one when it needed to be. After all, she had the heart of a killer beating just beneath the surface. Licking idly at her rosy lips, she turned the knob for her shower, letting the water warm up as she moved out and threw her closet door open, staring inside to see what she would wear. Though she didn't pick anything out before she headed back into the bathroom and hopped into the shower. This was more of a ritualistic thing for Lexie as she always enjoyed the fresh smell of her shampoo rather than actually showering itself. The warm water dripping down her bare body as steam bellowed out of the shower. It felt nice to the vampire, but she still wasn't a real fan of showers, yet didn't fully understand the why in all that. Cleaning the filth that had gathered upon her body from the day before, she was only partly ready for the night ahead as a good half hour had passed. At this time, the sun was well hidden behind the horizon rather than slightly peeking over. With a towel wrapped around her delicate figure, she was now rummaging through her clothes in hopes of finding something good to wear upon this night. Needless to say, she was tossing her clothes behind her, letting them lay wherever they landed as she looked at them. Often times she found herself to be one picky little bitch with what she wore from time to time. Tonight just happened to be one of those times. Grumbling under her breath, she held a few outfits up to her body and stared at herself before cursing and tossing them aside. Getting dressed took her another half hour of her night before she found something she simply adored. First she had a salmon hued t-shirt with buttons near the top and a wonderful collar. It was rather cute, at least Lexie believed so at the time. Over that, she had a dark green sweater vest that was shorter than the shirt itself, so the salmon hued shirt showed between the bottom of the vest and the tan cargo jeans she had put on. The cargo jeans were quite loose around her legs as the pant legs swallowed her feet entirely and around the waist she had a faded pink belt holding the pants to her hips. Plopping down on her bed, she pulled up the pant legs and put on a pair of red and black stripped socks, pulling them almost up to her knee before she snatched up her black boots. Slipping her feet carefully into them, she tied the laces nice and tight on the boots then bounced into the bathroom once again. Here she grabbed the comb and began to brush her hair a few times, working out any knots before putting her blond locks into pony tails, letting them curl naturally as she did so. Finally dressed and ready for the night to come, Lexie grabbed her black coat and slide her arms in and let it rest upon her shoulders quite nicely. Heading for the door, she snatched up her dark green woven hat resting upon the hat rack and set it upon her head. Reaching out for the doorknob, she realized she was forgetting her jewelry and bit her lower lip in idle contemplation. Grumbling to herself, she bounded back into her bedroom and snatched up a silver star charm bracelet and slide it upon her left wrist than ran out of her home promptly there after. Quickly greeted by the cool night air, she took a moment to close her eyes and take a deep breath, simply letting the night air fill her very lungs with their wonderfulness. An instinctive shiver ran down her spine as her eyes opened once more and she bounced off into the night, having one thing on her mind, fun. Walking the entire way, Lexie found herself at her favorite little club and it certainly wasn't the P3 place run by those witches either. No, Lexie was at a different nightclub that she enjoyed far better than any other. The music inside was far more beaty and easier on the ears than the other places. Even though Lexie herself did not like dancing, she still enjoyed watching others dance, how they made themselves looks like such fools. It amused her. Making her way into the establishment, her ears were instantly greeted with the beats of what seemed to be techno playing within the club. The beat itself caused Lexie's hips to bounce from side to side instinctively. Jaunting up to the bar, she slide her ass onto one of the stools and ordered herself a drink, simply asking for something exotic tonight, not caring what it was. Turning her gaze to the other patrons inside, she tilted her head to her left and studied everyone inside, wondering which ones she'd turned into a game and which one would be best for a proper meal. Oh how she was craving some cute little red head blood tonight, though she wasn't sure of the why on that. ~ 1180 tag!~ open for all. note(s)!~ whee first postie![/ul][/ul]

Well, this is it, well not really, this is only the beginning of this part of the tale. You see, Lexie was not the only supernatural being in the club, and when compared to the other being that was lurking in the recesses of the minds present in the club, she was not even the most dangerous supernatural being in the club. There was an entity, it had no body and thus was hoping from body to body leaving behind only a faint sound of laughter in its wake. A caustic, malignant psychic presence that was so devoid of humanity that it was nothing short of a horror that chills men's souls.
Malkav, the demon of Madness was about in the club, and insanity was in the air. Through a man's mind it went like lightning, not even bothering to stop and try to take it. It picked up some stray surface thoughts as it went and left behind a inhuman and sadistic laugh. Well, that's not entirely true, if you called him inhuman and sadistic he would applaud you on your perception of inhumanity and then torture you to show you how limited your mortal perception of sadistic really is. Then just as quickly as it had entered that man's mind in that techno spewing club, it left and entered another mind, but it had found something to have fun with. And the Demon of Madness's idea of fun generally left a great many corpses in its wake. The man had recognized someone in the club. A vampire, and what could be more fun to play with than that?
As the demon hopped from body to body in the club it observed the vampire from every possible, conceivable angle short of from below. In fact it had a great vantage point looking down on her from a balcony. It just needed a way, something to trigger the excitement, some kind of hook to have fun with this vampire with. Malkav had no problems with vampires, but he did find them amusing at times and easy to manipulate if you know what your doing. From its observations it determined that the vampire's eye had caught the well toned figure of an attractive red head, and that would be Malkav's key.
The demon of Madness jumped into the redhead's body, wearing it like a suit and taking complete control, though she continued to dance as if nothing had happened, it wasn't yet time to have fun just yet. Digging the information she wanted out of the redhead's tender little mind Malkav jumped back out, leaving her none the worse for wear, not that it was likely the redhead would live past this night now that two creatures of darkness had taken an interest in her. Hovering in the Madness Network for a time Malkav thought some more and then the idea struck him, and he knew what to do. And what a diabolical plan it was, at least in his own mind.
Jumping directly into the mind of the bartender and taking for his own he walked over to a button under the bar and pressed it. All the exterior doors save the front one was now locked, there was another button for that one. Once the place was nearly sealed up Malkav as the Bartender walked over to where Lexie was sitting and said, in a voice that sounded a bit off, like there was something wrong in him, "Would you like something to drink? Perhaps a Bloody Mary, particularly one that's heavy on the bloody? Or maybe your looking for a different kind of drink all together?

Scanning through the patrons with a careful eye, she had indeed spotted a few redheads, mostly girls though, which was a bit depressing for the vampire. In all honesty, she would have preferred a cute guy to a cute girl, after all, she did adore her men. It was a natural thing for her, even with the fact that they had abused her all those years ago. The thought was still fresh in her mind, like it had happened just yesterday. Though it was more than likely that very act from those young adults that made her what she is today, quite literally too. Rapping her fingernails upon the bar counter, she heard the bartender's voice and it gave her an odd feeling crawling up the back of her spine. This feeling practically screamed supernatural, but it was somehow elusive in the same moment. Turning to stare at the bartender, she squinted her eyes a bit as she listened to his words, his very odd words. Watching him carefully, Lexie began to wonder what this person was, even if his blood smelled like a human, there seemed to be something more to him than just that. His words gave that much away. Her fun had indeed practically died at this point. Having someone here seemingly know what she was simply ruined everything, plus, he seemed to have a plan of his own. Rolling her eyes, she hissed at the man, " How about you go amuse yourself elsewhere, ya little twat. I do what I like, when I like, and if you plan on ruining that, you'll be the one that gets my," she paused a moment before giving a delicate smirk, " fun." The word was slung from her tongue as if it were a weapon, aimed to hurt than anything else. In truth though, it was for Lexie did not like it when people ruined her personal fun, especially people she didn't know. Already her temper was starting to get the best of her as it boiled inside and she turned her back towards the bartender, staring back out at the crowd for a moment or two. Sadly it seems her drink had gone unattended since it never did arrive before the bartender went weird. 'Course, that didn't really worry Lexie all too much as she bounced off her stool and moved into the crowd. Happily walking away from the plotting bartender and whatever ideas where roaming his head that would simply get him killed sooner or later. Probably sooner more so than later though. Malkav watched the vampire walk away with a grin, oh he definitely wanted to have a bit of fun with this girl and to him, her words were just an invitation to the fun. With a small grin on the bartender's face Malkav left the body. The bartender stumbled a bit as he took control over his body back, having lost all memories of the last minute or so. He muttered something to himself as he shook his head clear and went back to work none the wiser of what had happened. Malkav on the other hand went back to hopping from body to body watching the blond vampire as she moved through the dance floor. In each body that the madness demon entered it looked at Lexie and giggled so that it would appear that the entire club was laughing at her, or at least the ones near her. To most beings familiar with the supernatural it would become clear that something in this club was terribly wrong, that something inhuman was present because the mood was changing slightly within the club, dancing was getting more chaotic and inhibitions were being loosened. No one could know it, but Malkav was at work, turning up the revelry, transforming the club into a Bacchanalia.
The transformation was slowly progressing froward as another young man came up to Lexie, madness clear in his eyes. He was a good looking man of African descent and stood a good foot over Lexie. When he spoke it was with a heavy voice and a thick Haitian accent but his tone, the way he spoke, and even the manner in which his words felt were identical to the bartender that had spoken to Lexie. Malkav was wearing him like a cheap suit, and Malkav's attention was on the blond vampire, which generally speaking is rarely good for anyone's health. Malkav in the Haitian spoke, "Come now girly, I would love to have a bit of fun with you. Though I do dislike being called a twat, I'm willing to forgive you." The Haitian man then smiled and Malkav was gone, hopped into a new body.
The Haitian was quickly lost in the crowd when a red haired woman came into Lexie's personal space, her eyes aflame with madness as well. She spoke with no accent and the voice sounded different than the previous two but there was no mistaking it, it was the same voice as speaking through her as it had the Bartender and the Haitian. "Oh, and I think a bit of fun would be great, but give me about 15 minutes and this place will be throwing a party no one will ever forget. Especially at these poor pathetic mortal's funerals." The woman then laughed hard, like what she said was particularly funny.
