There she was, at least what was left of Lauren Halliwell. She stood in a circle made of crystals and she held her athame up high. “Hail to the guardian of the watchtowers of the South, powers over fire. Bring back my loved one, light up the flame.” She said and the crystals became red as rubies. That was some pretty powerful magic that Lauren was dealing with, but she just could live with the huge mistake that she made.
“Hear me now and hear me clear. Bring me my love and settle him near.” She said and knelled down. Her hair assumed it’s black color and her eyes were just black as ebony. Lauren invoked the powers of the four watchtowers and they were so powerful that they could kill her.

A shimmer out black and orange smoke engulfed him, setting him aflame as he was standing in the livingroom in the Black Manor. Aiden felt himself yanked, deliberately tied up by someone's summoning. Aiden was in fear, thinking that such could be some demon trying to take hold of him, knowing that he was in such a weakened state. But he was surprised, surprised that he was now in between four candles in the Halliwell Manor, and directly across from him stood Lauren Halliwell with a knife in her hands.
He stared, his face blank and his eyes showing a deep burning within him. His mouth trembled and he finally spoke, "Lauren." This was the first time he spoke to her since that night in the attic to restore the charmed power, and boy, there was a lot to catch up on.

Lauren stood there and cleaned the tears that fell from her eyes. She looked at the man whom she shared wonderful moments with and that now found someone else to spend his time with. “ Oh--- Hello. I just wanted to clear the air and see if there is anything to be cleared.” Lauren said politely and stepped out of the circle.
She knew about everything between Aiden and Max and she saw what they did in her dreams. Those visions were just the price to be paid in order to have the powers that she dreamed about. “ So Aiden, how are you? How’s life treating you?”

Aiden stepped from out of the circle, his eyes still fixed and confused. He placed his hands in his pockets as his white t-shirts covered his blue jeans, held up by his silver charmed triqueta belt. Aiden walked around by the couch, taking a look at one of the new frames that seemed to appear after he moved out into the Black Manor. He smiled and then turned to face Lauren after hearing her words. He knew that she didnt summon him to find out about the mere ramblings of his life. Such was pathetic, and both he and Lauren knew this. "Cut the crap, Lauren Halliwell, why am I here?"

" Well...I heard that you were going out with that girl. I just wanted to hear something from you. DO you still love me?" she asked and held the athame tightly by her waist. Lauren waited for the painful answer and tried to think that she was still going to live happily with Aiden.

He was perplexed. The last time they had really talked about anything of the sort was when their daughter died, and since then they had really forbid anything concerning their relationship, and this was not including the many arguments that had developed. He looked down, his eyes setting on the brief flames that swirled haphazardly in the air, allowing their smoke to escape. He then looked up, noticing the girl's knife that was edged close to her, and he was confused.
His life was confusing. He didnt understand it. He was forced to decide between a war and is best friend. He had to decide over his life and his legacy. He had to decide good or evil. He had to decide family or best friend. He had to decide current love or first love. His life was always filled with decisions, those that no other regular person had to face, and Aiden always broke down after making them, obviously not a person that loved choosing and making decisions that would hurt another.
Lauren...I....I..." He started, looking into the girl's eyes, his lips still trembling as he continued to allow his lips to speak as his heart bounced up and down in his chest."I..." He continued, the words obviously stuck in his throat, his forehead filled with sweat and his eyes filled with liquid. He veins were filled with gushing blood, and his veins were popping out through his neck.
What would he say? How was he suppose to answer such a question? Answer a question clearly too rhetorical for him to even begin to comprehend. His eyes continued to shed tears, and his lips continued to tremble, he felt his heart skipping beats and his feet beginning to shake. He watched the girls hands, then stared back up into her eyes, stared at the candles, his chest moving faster and faster and then it came.
"I cannot love you." He said as he looked down at the filthy rug. His heart had returned to its normal beating and everything around him seemed to stop spinning. "I cannot love you." He repeated, obviously hurt and shaken."Lauren, you changed, you changed. You prevented me from expressing my love for you. You blocked me from your life, you angered me, threw my own dignity on the floor Lauren. You were trying to make me regret my first love." Aiden babbled, saliva dropping from his lips as it caught up with the draining tears from his eyes."You dont love me."

Those were the words, the ones that made Lauren regret doing everything that she did. She lost the man she loved, just to have power to destroy the woman who killed her daughter. As Aiden justified his answer, Lauren dropped the athame and cried silently. This was too much for her to handle. “ Aiden everything that I did was because I loved you. I decided to give us some time, because I was changing- I was dealing with forces that could kill you, so that’s why I kept a distance from you.” She murmured and tried not to look at Aiden’s eyes.
“ I was loyal to you. I kept waiting for you day after day, but you went away and decided to screw that little whore. How do you explain that?” she furiously shouted as a black aura surrounded her.

Aiden looked up at Lauren, the broken woman that he knew after their child's death had returned, and forced him to break also. He literally felt one side of his head begin to rip apart from the other, his heart being tossed upside down, a organic frisby being caught by an unusual situation. Aiden stared at her, his eyes continuing to rain down on the carpet below him, the carpet now moist with tears, and he could feel the evaportation being rised from the floor. He was sad, he could not deal with this, he could not handle this, he was not prepared.
The girl's words hurted him and scolded him all at once. How could she speak in such a Manor of Max when the girl had stolen his heart just like she did just before. He didnt understand, why would she try to be so cruel to him if she loved him? Aiden looked down at the floor, and when his head arose he could sense the thickened blackness around the woman, but he was not afraid, although he did not understand.
He knew that he was Lauren's first, and she was his. "Lauren, Lauren....please..." He plead. He didnt want to hear this. Rabecca was already pressuring him to do something that was not him, and his father and mother had pressured him all too long before, and now Lauren was attempting to do the same. "You would always be my first Lauren, you would always have that special place... He continued, the aura around the girl becoming a bit too much for him, and Aiden could feel his skin crawling, "But I cant love you. I...I cant."
Aiden truly loved Lauren. He loved Max. He loved Rabecca. He loved his parents. How was he to choose between them?

The voices inside of her head, made thing clear as water. Aiden had moved on and it was time for Lauren to face it. Her heart was broken and the hate inside of her grew stronger. “ I love you and I respect your decision. Things happen for a reason and I guess that loosing you was a price to be paid.” She said and remembered the good memories. Lauren was a Halliwell and maybe that was the only thing stopping the mystical spirits of the Watchtowers to possess her completely. Her aura was still black, but it wasn’t growing so strong now that Aiden was there.

Aiden hung his head as the girl said those words. It hurted him as well, and he really wished love was not as complicated as it was. He dried his eyes and walked up closer to her, extending his hands as though offering a hug, "No hard feelings?" He questioned, his lips pinned. He knew that things would always be awkward between them, but he figured they'd have to work it through.
