Feeling a disturbance around his ring, Zo had to figure out what was going on. With the cavern no longer protected by magic, it lay within the mortal realm. The mouth was a build up of rocks that poured out. Just beyond them was a body of a woman, crush and mutilated by the pressure of earth and magic. Just thinking about it caused him to smile deviously. Either way, he arrived at the scene, invisible to the naked eye. Mortals lay within the area, seemingly doing something. Zo didn't understand the humans' constant need to expand, but he knew what the people looked like that did it. These were them. Odd monstrosities lay around and the mortals in the orange vests chattered with themselves, seemingly arguing. The mouth of the cave was blown open, clearly they were trying to expand.
His crimson eyes darkened as he began to move through the crowd of humans. Raising his left hand, he grabbed his scimitar that rested upon his back. It didn't matter what the humans were after, they were endangering his ring being found. They were a threat. As his body became visible, the scimitar came down, cutting into the legs of one of the arguing construction workers. The one standing just beside him began to scream like a little girl. Falling forward, the legless man held tight to his arguing companion. However, Zo was already on the next attack as his body spun around, the blade slicing into the spine of the other. Both dropped to the ground instantly. The other workers began to scatter in terror, none wanted to stick around to feel the wrath of this creature. By now, the legless man was trying to crawl away, as if it would save him. He called out to his pals that were retreating. None replied or came back for him.
Standing over the man that had a splintered spine, Zo drove his blade into the man's forehead. The skull split and the man's eyes went lifeless. Simply leaving it there, Zo's tail wrapped around the neck of the other. Whipping the mortal back with just his tail, Zo picked up him. Wrapping his three fingers around the man's neck, he stared at him with his dark crimson eyes. A glint flashed in Zo's eyes and his fist followed...

Becca had come to finally collect Tara's body or what was left of it in some ditch effort to cremate it and keep the ashes in the house. The front was blocked off and she'd had to slip in to teh shade to avoid being detected by the construction workers. Just then a creature appeared and started killing them off, she rose an eyebrow and used it as a diversion to slip through the rocks in to the cave. She tripped over a rock and fell to her knees beside what was left of Tara's body ,her eyes widened her hand lashed out to grip the ground a wave of sickness threatening to make her throw up. She felt something cool under her hand and pulled it back, there was a ring, it was pretty she loked at Tara, it probably belonged to her. She picked it up and slipped it on with a sad smile, she was wrong she couldn't do anything to the body yet...She'd have to come back for it later.

Zo let the man go, the body tumbling onto the ground as blood seeped from the man's face. It wasn't a pretty sight either. Face bashed in with a single punch, the nose broken and eyes beat red. If the loved ones were to try to identify him, they wouldn't know if it was truly him or not. Heaving his body as he took in deep breaths, his eyes lingered upward and noticed a woman moving into the cavern. Crimson orbs shot wide open with fear. In attempt of protecting his ring, he had opened it up to another.
Without hesitation, he ran towards the cave after he had ripped his scimitar from the man's head. Dragging the blade along the ground, Zo came to a sliding stop close to Rabecca and he rose his blade, allowing the tip to come close to her neck, "Put that ring down, it wasn't hers and never would have been. That ring belongs to me and no one else." Oddly, he spoke the truth. It was his ring. No one else was bound to it like himself and though he couldn't harm Rabecca, he could still threaten her. Only standing a little over three feet, he still looked rather intimadating as his muscles tensed, showing what was just beneath his gray skin.

Rabecca rolled her eyes slowly towards the Imp beside her, she turned her head which forced him to either move the blade back or slit her throat. "Hn, an Imp bursts in to the gravesite of my dear friend just as I pick up a ring and deems it fit to tell me I must give it to him because he says its his....Really. What would you do in this situation? A, believe the imp set the ring down knowing he's probably lieing because he wants to sell the ring or B, keep the ring and ignore the imp?" She smiled pleasently at him, it was the imp from the school that she'd wanted to see, he looked pretty down right dirty she figured she could pay him a good sum and he'd come to work for her, she'd pass it by him after the ring dilemma.

His eyes turned to a glare as he was forced to move the blade from her neck just a little bit though. Keeping his eyes upon her, he listened to her and his left eye twitched in anger. He wanted to kill her, push the blade just a few centameters into her skin and let her bleed to death with Mara. Was that her name? It didn't matter. "How about option C, give me the ring and I'll do a job for you," he stated bluntly. He was lucky she didn't know what she had, or at least he was hoping that. Bartering for it would be perfect and he slowly began to remove his blade. Setting it back upon his back, his other hand raised out to her, palm facing upward. "Or jobs if you think its worth more than that. Just name your price." Sadly, he knew that the moment the ring touched him, it would simply fall through, but luckily, he could make an illusion of it. The ring was bound to him, so it allowed him to project what it looked like. So all he would have to do, is make the illusion in his hand and put his foot over the ring when it hit the ground. Hopefully that would be enough to trick her.

"I have a better idea, how about I keep the ring and-" She opened the cloak she wore to reveal her bandaged upper body, she unhooked a platinum gold necklace with diamonds embedded in it. She'd gotten it from Melena for her thirteenth birthday back when she lived in Toulouse but she didn't really care what happened to it. Her and Melena weren't exactly best friends. She tossed the necklace to the imp and crossed her arms over her chest. "Take that and come work for me. Naturally there's more where that came from." She said her ring finger on her right hand still adorned with the imps ring.

His glare hardened as he stared at her and simply tossed the necklace at her chest, "I only want the ring, it has sentamental value to me that cannot be replaced by a pathetic little necklace," his words hissed in anger. She was trying to get him to let her keep the ring, and that wasn't the plan for Zo. He wanted the ring away from the hands of mortals and demons alike. Working for free was not in his repetwar. "All I want is the ring, now you can be kind enough to hand it over or I'm simply going to walk away and never work for you," he stated bluntly. Course if she figured out what the ring really was, he'd be forced to work for her, but none of the jobs had to be done instantly.

She shruged "Suit yourself." She stated softly getting up four demons appeared around her she smiled pleasently at them as they began to carefully wrap Tara's body in silk. Two of them vanished two of them stayed obviously worried about leaving their Queen alone with some foreign Imp. She started to leave the cave the necklace wrapped around her neck once more the demons at her heels but loking over their shoulders at the Im pto make sure he didn't do anything stupid.

His eyes turned to a glare once again as she began to simply walk off. Drawing his scimitar, he tossed it at one of the demons. It drove easily into the demon's spine and out the other end. "The ring, you wench, if you keep it, only danger will be around for you. Cause if you really wanna know, that ring is bound to me and as long as you have it, I will not rest till its destroyed or your dead. Its what happened to your little friend. She wanted information, I gave her what killed her and I'll do the same to you," he hissed within her mind.

She looked back at him and smiled. "Do what you must, if this ring is really what you say it is then we'll see. I'll put it under glass in a vault and keep it safe and out of touch of everyone but myself. I will not use it against you, I wish our relationship to be purely business there will be no force between us. But it is your decision. I will be in the Sternlucis manor later today awaiting your answer." She gave a low mocking bow and vanished in a burst of flames with the ring and the other demon.
