Stepping into her room, Lauren opened the book of Shadows and looked for a spell that would bring a loved one back from death. Dropping a few herbs inside a silver pot, Lauren read the instructions carefully and slid an athame across her hand. With her left hand’s blood being dropped inside the pot, Lauren noticed that a light smoke emerged from the pot. “Blood to blood I summon thee, blood to blood return to me.” Lauren chanted and for her disappointment, nothing happened. Her deception and anger caused a few objects to blow up in the manor. Aiden was away and Lauren was left alone in the manor once more.
Sorrow and anger possessed Lauren, she was told that her father was killed by several demons, because he refused to tell them where his daughter was. Lauren couldn’t stop thinking that what happened to her father was her fault. SO once more she chanted. “In this night and in this hour, I call upon the ancient power. Bring back my father bring him back.” she said with tears coming off her eyes.

As her usual visits where she refused to come in through the front door, this time was no different. She was in the attic and upon her surprise the Book of Shadows was missing. Looking around the room, she hollered for Aiden, hoping he wasnt on his precious little Avalon so that he would be able to hear her. She was suddenly distracted when she heard an explosion coming from one of the rooms. She continued to call for Aiden and her whitelighter whilst she ran down the stairs and opened the door that usually housed Lauren.
To her dismay, it was Lauren who seemed to be distraught and Kumika was at a lost for words. She hadnt seen Lauren in what seems like forever and Aiden himself seemed lost in constant challenge. She knew that the Elders would have consequence for them putting themselves ahead of their calling. But in any event, she was glad to see that the rumours of Lauren being dead weren't true."Are you okay?" She questioned, running a little closer to her.

Looking at the door, Lauren sighed and stood up. Starting to become a bit disappointed about who appeared, Lauren closed her eyes and stood still. “Not to be rude or anything, but I’m in the middle of something really important.” she said and turned around. Sitting back, where she was seated once before. Lauren started chanting once more and hoping that this time things would actually work.

"Oh, I'm sorry oh Might one." Kumika said as she slammed the door, leaving Lauren in the room chanting her deliberate spells, spells she knew were probably null and void. She simply headed back up to the attic where she usually stays, not really wanting to get into anyone's way. She was only here to look in the Book for some answers to see if she was on the right course, she sat down in a chair facing the window, looking down on the streets.

Aiden heard the cries of someone in need. He was at the Zircon house with Luke when he heard his spirit tugging him. However, to his dismay, it led him to the Halliwell Manor, and he was standing in the halls near the stairs. He heard a lot of commotion going on in the house, the stomping of someone heading up to the attic and another person seemingly chanting spells. Listening closely, he heard that the chants were coming from the room that belonged to his girlfriend Lauren Halliwell, who he thought was dead.
Running into the room, thinking that it was some demon, he pushed the door open when he heard a chair in the attic rotate. Aiden was wondering what was going on until he looked closely, it was Lauren and Aiden's mouth dropped open. "Wha--What? I thought you were..." Aiden said, noticing that she was the one chanting, not a demon.

“dead?” she finished Aiden’s sentence and kept chanting. Noticing that the spell wasn’t working, Lauren threw the book on top of her bed and sighed. This Charmed destiny was so messed up and she was going through so many different things. Her boyfriend and her have been on pins and needles for a long time and the only chance that the had to make things better ended up in a fight with Link Turner. “I think that we need to talk about us. We lost contact for weeks before what happened in the attic and I can’t go through this anymore.” she said and sat by the Book of Shadows.

Aiden noticed that the Book beside the girl began to glow and Aiden was suddenly feeling a tingle rushing through his veins. He walked further into the room and stared at the girl with intrigued eyes. He knew that the two were note on best of terms, and he didnt know if theye ven had a relationship anymore, or let alone, a chance for a mutual friendship. "I know, but it's your fault. You disappeared. Remember?" Aiden said as he raised his eyebrow moving closer to the girl, sitting on the edge of the bed.

“I’m sorry is just that things are so complicated. My dad died a few days ago and I had to stay with my mom for a while.” she said with a forlorn tone. With her eyes full of tears, Lauren looked at Aiden and hugged him with the bit of strength that she had left. “I lost almost everything that I loved, I just don’t want to loose you.” she muttered and for the first time in a long while, Lauren felt protected and safe from danger.

Aiden noticed that the girl was at one of her lowest points that he had seen her in, and he didnt want to add fuel to the fire. He hung his head down, whilst her arms was still tightly wrapped around him. "Lauren, we will make it work." he simply uttered, obviously his words carefully thought out. Aiden's head was still down, whilst his chest rose and dropped heavily as he inhaled and exhaled as he was crying internally, trying to stay strong for the two of them.

Hugging the man that she loved more than any of this magic stuff, Lauren allowed herself to stop and think of what would become of them if a Final Battle approached. “What if something happens to me or you? I just can’t see a bright side of things.” she whispered and the Book of Shadows magically opened into a section that Lauren had never seen before. Without reading other things besides the title, Lauren decided to chant . “Locked in, Boxed in, Full of fear. My panic grows manic till I can't hear. In need of a reprieve so that I can breathe. Remove my fear, Please make it leave. "she chanted and closed her eyes.

Aiden always replayed the memory of Lauren suddenly disappearing everytime he hear her chanting spells, spells that always seemed to backfire on them both. So it was by no surprise that Aiden became worried when he heard her repeating the spell. He pulled away from her, and noticed that there was a bright glow above her head, and Aiden realized that the glow was taking away her fears. Aiden didnt know whether or not to sit there and watch or to interrupt the process. Standing to his feet he noticed that it was by the power of the Book of Shadows that unveiled the spell that Lauren used, this made him a bit more confidant."Are you okay?" He questioned after the glow had disappeared.
