Her long brown hair floated on her long back, stopping at her waist line, her short jean skirt matched with a white shirt that was cut to show some cleavage and her white boots were up to her knees. She had come to see Aaron, just to see how things were now, since they havent seen each other since moving to Universities across the country. They seemed to have drifted apart somewhat, and although she wanted to see how he was doing, she also wanted to know where they stood.
She had developed a slight crush on her best friend upon seeing him in the forest last Saturday, and had since wondered why she didnt see it earlier, why she didnt make that move, or why he himself didnt either. But then she figured that the numerous times she would come to him with her own relationship problems were just too much for him, and she was in herself, a turn off.
She knocked on the door, the sun had already set and the wind was picking up, indicating that the evening weather was rolling in. She hadnt seen any lights on in the immediate room so she had hoped she didnt make a trip here in vain, that at least one brother was home.

Haden heard someoen knocking from his room on the first landing. He was laying down on his bed wearing a pair of surfer shorts but no shirt on and he wasn't to be embarrased because he had a pretty good body, been working out laods before. He climbed out of bed, and walked, barefooted down the stairs and answered the door. He pulled it open and looked upon a familiar face. His old friend, more like closest friend, Keri. "Hey you," He said pulling her into a hug, "long time no see." He said grinning at her.

Upon seeing the boy's bare chest a slight blush came over her, but luckily, he pulled her close and it was no longer visible to him. "Yes, stranger." She said punching him playfully, returning the grin that he had given her. She stepped into the door, as it was becoming somewhat cold on the outside. She looked around the house, she could remember every inch of it, for nothing had changed and this made her feel right at home.
It seemed almost awkward standing here, when they were all so grown up, whilst he was standing there just have naked before her, like old times, but only she and he were more mature. "So, where are your brothers?" She said looking at the living room that was empty.

"Well...Landon is at court, probably in a case right now, Jordan is out with Celeste...and I, am here with you." He said taking her hand and leading her to the living room with a smile on his face. He laid own on the couch and then laid her, face upwards atop him, her head resting on his chest while he stroked her hair. Just like old times. "So what've you been up to Keri...it's been so very long since I've seen you and stuff...what've you been doing?" He asked her.

She was shocked that he still remembered how they would talk laying on top of one another, and if not even more so awkward, they had the house for themselves, in the dark living room. It was like one of those weird fantasies one would have about their mate coming true. She then realized that her silence was probably go noticed, "Well, I've been keeping myself busy. You know, University stuff. I have only one year to go and I'll be free from the hell hole." She said, her chin on his chest.

"Yeah well, I just transfered to the University from college in New York and stuff so...gonna be pretty rough for me, plus I'm getting to know my brothers again. J and I are hitting it off i guess but Landon...I don't know. By the way, have you been using your powers lately?" He asked her.

Keriann laughed a bit, her chin still on his chest. "Yeah, I figured you and Jordan's relationship would be interesting." She said as she got off him and sat in the chair opposite. "In terms of my powers..." She stopped looked at a picture frmae that was hanging on the wall and called for it. Then suddenly, the frame was succumbed to blue orbs and ended up in her hands. "Yes I have." She said raising an eeybrow. "Why are you asking? We never really discussed this before."

"I know...that's the point, it's just...we're egtting to an age where are powers will be full blown and powerful, and that'll attract the wrong people you'd want to hang out with...so I just want to know that, you can...protect yourself when you need to. I won't be there always you know." He said sitting up as he looked her straight in her eyes.

Keriann touched her heart, putting her acting skills to use, "Oh Aaron, you actually care. Tear." She said allowing a laughter to escape from her glossy lips. She sat next to him and held his hands, "I'll be fine. Trust me." She said softly, this time in a more serious tone, she too staring into his eyes. It was one of those moments when the air in the room was thick, when everything around you wont become faded and you would only notice that person who's eyes you were staring into. One of those moments that were captured in the heart's memory, when everything came to a climax, but she looked away.

"Sure." She said as she reached for her backpack and took out a thick Chemistry book that seemed to weigh down on her, and a pen. She flipped through the pages quickly smirking, obviously annoyed, and at the same time digging through her bag for the highlighter that she had thrown in it. She kept her eyes focused on the pages, flicking her hands at the switch to turn on the lights in the living room. She thought that if he was going to go and cook, she might as well finish the assignment she didnt have the opportunity to finish in class.

Aaron entered the kitchen and and opened the fridge and pulled out a box of pizza that he had bought last night. He placed a slice on a plate, then he held his hand over it, but not touching. He started to generate a light which began to emit heat and he cooked the slice to a nice, tasty, pipping hot state. He took the plate and the heated pizza then walked back into the living room and set it on the coffee table before her. "How can u read in this light?" He asked as he used his power to bring the candles in the chandelier back to vibrant life, significantly illuminating the room.

Smelling the pizza coming from the kitchen she closed the book and placed it on the table when he walked in and rested the platter on the table next to her book, and then brightening the light a bit more. She shook her head up and down knowing he would do something of that nature, he hadnt changed much. She began to eat the pizza that he had brought for her, eating slowly to make sure that the cheese from it didnt drop on her newly bought outfit. "Where are you going?" She questioned, remembering that he stated that he had to leave soon, it was always hard to keep up with his busy lifestyle now.

"Not really ready to actually start working you know, not yey anyway." he said.

Jordan screwed his keys into the lock, opening the door. His long jeans pants and white collared shirts covered with a blue jacket suggested that he had been out to a formal gathering. He walked briskly into the living room, noticing that the lights were on and that his brother and his best friend, who Jordan himself hadnt seen since they were young teenagers, sitting there opposite one another.
He had just dropped Celeste off and had come to go and do some homework, arriving at nine-thirty exactly, just like he had arranged. Stepping into the living room he grabbed a pziza that seemed to be laying on the table between the two and took a bite out of it. "Oh hey Keriann." He greeted, leaving the living room heading to his room without further conversation or acknowledging his brother.
