Nate walked along the bustling walkways of the mall. Smelling each person's scent as he walked across the edges of the stores. Trying his best to control himself. It wasn't until recently he had developed his longing for human blood. He stopped by a bench on the corner and sat holding his head in his sweaty hands. His hands were wet due to his clenching of his fists to keep from jumping onto the nearest person and digging his fangs into the mortal. He sat and stared at the ground, hoping t would end...

Preston was too busy, Ethan was hanging with his friends and Justin was taking care of Colby who has down with the flu and Keri...well...he wasn't sure what was going on between hm and Keri because, even though they shared a room, and a home, he still wasn't able to sit her down and personally talk and explain what happened that evening at Magic School, how could he when he didn't want to even think about it...one more reason to dislike Aiden even more; it seemed like Aiden was just asking to be hated by the whole world, but he was the least of his problems, there was something or someone lurking about the world somewhere and he was causing some chaos, but more important than that...he had to pick out his tux for his wedding, that is, if there was still going to be a wedding.
For now he was going to remain hopeful, that why he walked into the mall dressed in a dark blue t-shirt which flattered his built physique, his dark blue jeans, black sneaker. In his jeans pocket, he had jammed into his ipod nano: currently he was listening to Savin' Me by Nickelback, it really was an amazing song, but unfortunately the rocking has just come to an end and another song he liked started to play: Stay Beautiful by The Last Goodnight and he was starting to get into a good mood with this song, so much that he now had an extra pep in his step as he walked through the mall with one hand in his pocket and the other in his cell phone as he looked from store to store, looking for some expensive men's store that sold tuxes and stuff, if he was going to do this he was going to do this right, this was his day but it was more Keri's day and he didn't want to disappoint her...more than he thinks he already did.

Nate lifted his head and smelled the blessed aroma. Something was different, something that he hadn't ever smelled before. Except from his mother. That meant that there was magical blood near.
Raising from his seat gracefully, he lifted his nose the air one more time, watching a man with headphones in his ear. He continued to follow him while he looked to his Ipod, apparently seeing the new song or something. He wasn't sure, but he seemed happy with the song choice. (hope that isn't godmodding, just playing along with what you said...)
Stopping suddenly he realized that he was acting stupid, why was he following a man with an amazing scent to his blood? He couldn't drink it. But he continued anyways. Hoping the man didn't notice him.

His almost endless searching came to a thankful end when he spotted a store and from the looks of the clothes in the window, the fancy display sign and the post looking men and boys that entered and left, hence he knew that he found the store he was looking for, well, the first one he came to, this was a mall, he was sure some designers had outlets somewhere in this maze of retail and wholesale shopping. He stopped the song just as it was coming on to the chorus for the last time and she shoved the whole set in his pocket and his cell phone in the other. He pressed his hand on his chest and smoothed his shirt down, his fingers rippling over his abs, then he went in as casual as he came in.
This place truly had a high end feel to it. He passed gentlemen and those younger...well, they were all younger than him, he wasn't exactly...mortal. But still, he looked at them as they studied clothing with eager, more like nervous clerks waiting behind them, giving them bits of information on the designer, the material and its measurements and as he looked at them he felt sad for the girls but a bit confused as to why a guy would care so much about clothing, I mean yeah, it is always a plus to be decked out nicely and fashionably if you want but to want the creation background is a bit too...
"Oh...I'm sorry." Haden said just after he bumped right into a shop clerk who was waiting for him to approach her, she apparently didn't think about moving, but in her defence, he wasn't paying attention to where he was going so no harm done there. "It's ok sir. Do you need any assistance?" She asked as she straightened herself up. "Um, no not really...I'll find something..." He began, but seeing her slightly crestfallen face made him change his mind. "...um, you know what, I'm new to shopping all fancy and stuff...I'm getting married and I don't want to ruin my fiance's day by coming in something unsatisfactory, so, you mind showing me something that could work?" He said, and with that, her eyes lit up. "Right this way sir, I'm Hillarie by the way and welcome to Gents Chateau." She said, smiling, more like beaming at him before she turned and lead him throughout the vast store, stopping here and there to show some good options and they were really good options.

Nate completely did not notice where he had entered once he stopped smelling for the man's blood, and saw the coats, ties, shoes, and other fancy clothes that you would see a corporate in, or even...a person to be getting married. Watching the man walk with the store clerk, he wondered if he could still do it.
He had met someone who seemed to think he had potential in killing humans, or even witches. He thought about it for a moment. It he was careful, he could kill her, and him. But he needed to get to know his victim first. Pulling his tight black sweatshirt down to cover the top of his jeans, he walked carefully over to the man.
The scent was still so wonderful he wanted it there and then. Smiling he knew the perfect way to get his attention. He accidently hit himself on the man's legs and fell making a loud bang on the floor. His hair falling into his face he looked back up at the two.
"I'm sorry," he said acting sad and defensive. "I should look where I-I am g-going." he stammered trying to sound innocent.

"...and this is something from Ralph Lauren, it just arrived, priced at five hundred dollars." Hillarie said as she stopped as a mannequin which modelled something very nice, and very cozy and very expensive. "Five hundred for a suit I'm only going to wear once...now I know how brides feel." Haden said as he looked up and down the suit. "And over here..." The clerk said as she led him to a set of suits that hung to a wall. "...we have some Dolce and Cabbana suits which are more more pricey than that last one but they are worth it. They are guaranteed to grab the spot light but not so much when the bride enters the room, after all, it's her day." Hillaire said, even giving a bit of a wink. "So...what do you think, have you decided?" Haden sighed then he stared at the five displayed suits, one was basic black and white, one had a silky blue shirt, one had a light cream shirt, the other has a green which turned him off completely and the last had a red which looked cool, but not suitable for a wedding.
But after a few moments he was ready to decided, after a few minutes of searching he was ready to pick and purchase and right as he was about to speak, he felt something his his leg, he looked around and he saw the unusual sight of a kid on the ground...he didn't even think he got bumped into that hard but that may be his mind pushing it out of the way. He looked at Hillarie then eh turned to the kid on the ground and smiled nervously as he bent slightly with his hand out to help him to his feet. "Hey, I'm sorry about that, here lemme help you up." He said, trying to seem friendly. What he noticed is that when he harmlessly brushed someone, sometimes, that someone retaliates in some unrealistic manner that just made him wonder..."You ok?"

Nate smiled on the inside. He had made contact. This was great...he could still smell the magical blood rush in the man's puffed out veins. He licked his lips slightly only to seem like he was licking something off his mouth. He pulled himself together and moved a large piece of hair from his face that fell as he rose from is fallen space.
"Yeah, I'm okay." he said trying to sound casual. He seemed to think again, and then tried another tactic. "I'm sorry have we met before?" Nate asked, but realized it was a stupid question to ask, where would he have met this person before. It wasn't like he would quickly gaze into his past to see if he was a clerk, a buisness man, hell even a hot dog stand person, though he didn't seem like he would be a hot dog stand person.
Looking for a way to be discrete, he merely waited for an answer, and also an alibi to where he might have seen this person before. Still getting the sweet and luscious aroma of the rushing blood. He tried to contain himself. Though this took much more effort than he thought it would.

Haden was glad that he was ok and he was prepared to forget it all and just go back about his day like nothing so weird had happened but just as he was about to turn from this guy, he was posed with a question which just topped off the awkwardness of this situation like a cherry on a vanilla cake. He turned his attention fully back to this kid and he had a look with a raised eyebrow and a pondering expression. "Um..." He said, taking the question of whether they had met before to mind, searching it rather, trying to recollect anything that said they had met before and it wasn't that after one thousand years he started to forget and stuff, he remembered everything that has happened to him vividly, some more than others, the more traumatic ones, that is...but still, he remembered them all, and this kid wasn't apart of his memories but he couldn't let on that he's been around longer than ten generations of a standard family.
"Uh...I really don't think we've met before, I would have remembered, trust me, I have a good memory." He said, giving a bit of a wry smile. "So...seeing as you're ok...I'm gonna go, right...bye." He said, giving a slight wave before he turned and continued his search with the clerk, completely forgetting that he had chosen something in his mind already but the previous events stirred up his thoughts a bit, but seriously, try searching over one thousand years of memories and see if you remember if you blue eyes or brown. As they moved from outfit to outfit, he couldn't help by search the store for that kid, because, in the back of his mind, what just happened seemed to unreal to be real...if that made sense. "Over here..." Hillarie said, causing his head to snap back toward her.

Nate was frustrated when he blew him off, he wanted that blood and badly. So he knew he had to upper the stuff a notch. He thought had on what he could say...nothing that would be too dramatic, but something that could help him get the man's blood. Seeing at the man was old enough to be his father...it clicked with him.
"Dad?" he asked in a low murmu, so only the man could hear. He wished he knew the guy's name, it would make it easier.
He hoped that he was not going to call security on him or something, but with that magical blood, it wasn't until then that he realized he went overboard, becuase one swift move wrong, he was going to get in deep trouble.

The entired room went completely silent, not a sound was made since that boy uttered the word: "Dad?". It was as if everyone heard and became equally as stunned as he had become because no one moved, literally. People were frozen mid speech, mid step...everything just stopped, except for two people, that kid, and Haden as he turned around and looked at him with a curious look which turned into one on wonder mingled with amazement. He stepped away from Hillarie who was about to give the background on another suit which he could not be caught wearing dead, and he moved over to the kid, looking at him as if carefully studying, taking in his slim appearance, his long black hair styled in a manner which would cause it to sometimes cover his face and he was a handsome young man.
"I am not your father." Haden said, trying not to seem insensitive. This must be some kid, lost, trying to find any source of family and with that he could deeply relate. He looked about the same age as Haden when he left New York so there was some understanding where this kid was concerned, but the fact was, Haden wasn't his father, not that he couldn't be...he just wasn't. Haden has slept with only one person in his life and he;s proud to say that, any guy that laughs at him for that then boasts that he's had loads of women is a fool. "Seriously...I'm not your dad, ok? And again, sorry about knocking you over." He said. He gave the kid one last look, then he turned and went back over to Hillarie and everything resumed as if not a minute had gone by, plus, they were in the state for that long.

Nate watched as the man seemed to give the obvious answer. He wasn't stupid. He actually felt pretty stupid, trying to be desperate for blood. He didn't know what to do. He watched the man who told him he wasn't his father walk away. He held his face downward beginning to walk out of the store. What more could he try? One more thing that guy would send out a restraining order, or even the police. That would only make matters worse.
Walking to the edge of the store's boundries, seeing the bustling people outside. The scent was not as appetizing. Only looking back to see the suits. Why did he act so foolish. He sat down leaving his knees bent. Nate watched the people outside. Not going to bother the guy unless he came to him. So he let his head fall gazing inbetween his legs. His hair falling in his face once again. He didn't care. Only thinking of the monster he seemed to keep bringing onto himself.
Though he knew he was evil now, he wasn't going to expose himself, and he wasn't stupid enough to think of something to get free blood. It took the fun out of it. He just sat there. It seemed like hours, maybe the guy had already left, but when he looked to the clock across the way it was only 10 minutes past. Sighing he resumed his position, he would probably stay here for the rest of the day.

Jordan walked into the large suit store. Trying to find a suit to suit the occasion of his new home in LA. His father dying was hard, and so was leaving him the large estate with the help of his two sibliings, and to learn more about his sorcery powers. Enhancing, and trying to work hard on his powers.
So, just trying to look spiffy, he glanced at the the many suits in the store. Sticking his large hands inside his pockets. He watched as another man had a dealing with a young man. Silly children he thought to himself. He smiled quickly, and then back to his surveying. Feeling bad for the man he watched the kid slump in the doorway.
"Hey sorry for the kid, some people just don't know when to stop." Jordan said with a small smile. He then continued looking at the coats on this side of the store.

Thirty minutes later, Haden was still in the store, walking from suit to suit, sometimes going back to previous ones, then moving on, going in circles and circles, retracing paths and Haden just couldn't find the right suit, or the perfect suit, or even one he'd settle with for now just so he could go home, make Keri disappointed with his choice and force him back out to get something proper...that's if she was having a good day. This prolonged period of distraction was due to that kid, the same kid he took to looking over at anytime he and Hillarie passed the doorway. "Um...Hillarie, mind if I just walk about a bit, you know, to clear my head...to many choices, you know." He said, trying to see as pleasant and as calm about it but in truth, her constant talking about suits as if it was a case of National Security...it was getting to him. "Oh sure Mr. Mathias." She said giving that smile again. She waved then she headed off to some back room, probably an employee lounge.
When she was about gone he took to walking around the store, returning to his favourite choices, the popular choices as indicated by Hillarie and the guaranteed individual looks also, as indicated by Hillarie...well, he could see what made them individual...you can only replicate hideous so many times and Haden just had to look away and walk back across the store, incidentally, casting a look over at the kid, almost not noticing that a guy was talking to him. He didn't hear much...well...he didn't hear anything at all, but he did the next best thing, the thing done the world around, he nodded as if in agreement or something. Haden looked from the kid to the guy who had addressed him. "No harm done." He said, forcing his eyes to catch an outfit and he started to examine it. "I can't take this." He said as he looked over this guy's shoulder to the wanna-be-autocrats who were still fussing over shirts...not suits, just shirts. "It's shocking that they're making all that fuss over such simple things...sad really, jeans and sneakers for me any day." He said a she flicked the sleeve of the jacket he was looking at to turn and look at another suit.

Jordan listened to the guy and smiled. Looking over his broad shoulder to see a couple fiddling with a suit. Granted Jordan was having trouble with choosing a suit. But he really didn't need one if he didn't find one he liked. Turning back to the man he laughed at his remarks. "Who wouldn't want to in just jeans and a t-shirt?" he said smiling.
He seemed to notice that the man was glancing at the kid from time to time. The kid looked not so much like a child, but like a late teen. He remembered those days, just care free, he still was care free, but it wasn't the same.
"I'm Jordan." he said sticking out his hand a little farther than before looking at a dark blue jacket which reminded him of an older man's coat. He was still debating why he was in the store in the first place. Jordan waited for the man's reply.

Haden reached his hand out to the guy, this was after he heard the introduction and turned to show respect and acknowledgement and with a friendly smile on his face he shook with a firm grip. “My name is Haden…it’s good to meet you, yeah, even in this stuff old place.” He added with a grin as he broke the grasp and stood there, looking pleasantly at his new acquaintance before his eyes wandered back over to the boy at the door way. It still bothered him that the guy called him dad…bothered? More like ticked away at his brain…it was like, the whole event was planned, bumping into each other being the stimulus to the chained event which was more of a shocker, good thing it wasn’t true, Haden didn’t sleep around, how could he, his morals kept him chained down so it was, and this is emphasized, for him to sleep around with anyone or even be the slightest bit seduced but even the sexiest of women, especially when he was bonded to the most important woman in his life.
“Um…be right back.” Haden said to Jordan and after the words had come out, he suddenly wished he’d held back, he was telling some guy he just met he was going to be right back as if they has come shopping together, not really a strange notion seeing as he was sexually secure to be able to knock of any kind of shit the closed minded people of this world would throw, still, logically, from a social point of view, saying that made no sense. He looked at Jordan, smiled awkwardly then he turned and walked over to the boy, standing behind him for a second, thinking if this approach was the smartest of moves, but what harm could it do. He seemed troubled…well, at first glance. He looked around at the occupants of the store, most of who were going about their business, except Hillarie who was all teary eyed, watching Haden as he neared the boy, you could have sworn that she was watching some long lost family reunion on Oprah. He raised his eyebrow then he turned and sat down beside the kid, not so close as to raise questions and suspicion, but close enough to carry out a conversation.
But as seconds turned to minutes, conversation seemed the last thing on his mind and sitting here seemed more and more awkward as his but got more and more sore sitting on cold hard tiles. “Um…” He began, searching his thoughts for something to say but since he didn’t know squat about this kid, he was grasping at air and all he had to draw on was what had happened earlier. “That was some stunt you pulled you know…and in front of a whole bunch of people, not to mention that overly emotional girl…so, why did you call me your “dad”? I’m sure you know more than very well I’m not your dad…so what’s the deal with that?”
