White lights appeared circling and then Holly appeared on the beach, with her butt in the sand. She looked up into the sky and slightly narrowed her eyes when the sun hit her. She knew she had to be on a beach, but she had no idea where and maybe even when she was at. She placed her hands right above her eyes to shade them from the blinding sun. It was too bright and she hated it but here was better than anywhere. She wanted to be alone, she didn't want to be here anymore.
She stood up with her bookbag and two bags in her hand. She looked around and saw the castle that was all to familiar to her. It was Avalon. She didn't suspect she would be here, she thought she would end up else where, but looks like she asked for a peaceful place and here she was. She looked around and smiled gently as she looked around the scenery. She loved here it, it felt like a whole new place to her once again but she loved it nonetheless.
She knew she would have to speak to Aayliah again. Tears were steeaming down her face. What had she done? Did she just abandoned her family, the one important thing to her? She hated this, she hated herself. So she fell on the ground, she was on her knees, her arms supporting her up as she cried softly. She was hurting her family, the only thing that was important to her. She was loosing everything and it was her own fault. She couldn't go back after what she had done.
She lifted her head and wiped her eyes shaking her head. She had a fight with Lena and now Max. What was wrong with her? She was messed up in the head like if she was on drugs or something. She couldn't live with herself after hurting her family. She didn't even know if Aayliah would be okay with Holly. She was the most horrible person on earth and she had no one to help her now. The tears kept steaming down her face and she sighed gently trying to remain calm.

Reid's room in the castle was on the side facing the beach Holly had transported herself to. He'd seen the swirling light and the form of a person appear. It was actually a stroke of luck. He'd been habitually in his room buried in his research. He really wanted to find a way to protect his family. He wasn't sure anymore what was motivating him aside from his own determination. He wasn't even sure what he was trying to get out of all of this, what he was trying to prove.
Just before the moment Holly had arrived, he'd looked up from the book he'd been reading. He was thoroughly tired of searching at the moment. Nothing he'd found so far - be it spell, potion, or artifact - had given him the answer he was searching for and he was running out of options. However, noticing a person on the beach had taken his mind off the search and gained his complete attention.
His attention taken by the person he couldn't recognize from this distance, he orbed down to the beach. Green light swirled into being with a peal of bells, bringing with them the teenage boy dressed in a white a-shirt, knit pants - which were technically pajama pants -, and socks on his feet. It was from this distance, a few feet away from her, that he recognized the distraught Holly.
Quietly he made his way across the sand to her, dropping to his knees beside her. He tentatively reached a hand out, slowly putting it on her shoulder. "Holly. What's wrong?" Something was wrong, he knew that much. He also considered Holly a friend after her last visit to Avalon, so he cared that something was hurting her. He sat by her side as she cried, waiting until she could give him an answer.

She was startled and she jumped slightly and she looked up at Reid. She didn't want him to see her like this and she didn't know how she could explain herself. She figured he could hate her for it. Everyone else had. She was going against everything she knew and everything she stood up for. She lost the one thing that was the most important to her. She frowned and closed her eyes, the tears wouldn't seem to want to stop coming down as much as she wanted them too, Sighing she looked at Reid and pushed her tears away from her eyes. A small frown on her face as she looked at him.
"I messed up everything Reid." she said and choked from crying and shook her head from side to side. Max and Lena would never forgive her again, she hurt them and she wanted to get away from them because all she did was hurt people. That's all she seemed to do now and days. She even hurt herself when she let Johnny touch her. She would never forgive herself. She kept on messing up and she wondered if she could ever see that light at the end of the tunnel again.
"I got into a fight with my sister and Aunt and I hurt myself too. I keep hurting people." she said crying once again. The tears coming down her face as she sat there. She moved back gently and sat on her butt but moved her head into her hands and cried gently. She kept on messing up and she wished she hadn't. She believe all she could ever do is hurt people, because that's all that's been happening lately. She even hurt herself. "I'm not even a good person anymore." she said and shook her head from side to side.

Reid looked at her as she spoke, his face more concerned than anything else. She might have expected something else, but Reid wasn't know to always react the way people expected him to. He listened and watched as she slowly started to cry again while telling him about it. As awkward as it might seem later if anyone saw them, he wrapped his arm around her. Startled into speech by her last sentence.
"That's not true," he said softly. "You are a good person, you just need some time by yourself for a while. Everyone does, even me. Your sister and your aunt will forgive you, because when you love someone you always have fights. Then you forgive and make up. It's how things work."
He wanted to hug her like he would if it was Caliste, but he felt like he needed to let her be the one to come to him. He didn't want to do something that would only make her retaliate against him and hurt her more. "You made a mistake, Holly. Whether you said or did thing you regret, the point is that you regret the actions. Everyone makes a mistake now and then. The important thing is to take the time you need and to move on from it." His face, though still kind, took on a somewhat more serious look as he added. "They won't hold this against you. The love you and they know they'd only hurt you by doing that. They wouldn't do that because they know you didn't hurt them intentionally."
Was he doing this right? Was he saying the right things? Only Holly's reaction would answer those questions. I want to help, so please let me doing the right thing. I don't want to hurt her any worse.

The tears flowed down her eyes and onto her shirt. She wished she could stop crying. She knew her mother, her father, Drew and Daniel would hate it. But they weren't here, she didn't even know what would happened to them now that they were gone. Holly felt like all her love ones seemed to be disappearing more and more these days. She felt alone for once and she really did need help. She needed as much help as she could get. Everything around her world was falling down, along with her, which she was trying to hold it up. Holly was a strong person, so she didn't cry so much. It was a rare thing to see.
She wrapped her arms around him and she sniffled here and there. She wanted to stop crying, she thought she seemed foolish for doing it. "Reid, I've done stupid things in my life and this is the worse thing I could have done.." she whispered gently and looked down sniffling once again. She then thought about something and her eyes widen for a moment. The power of three! Oh god, how could she have seen so selfish. She probably broke it!
She moved away from Reid and she wiped her eyes and shook her head. "I could have broken the power of three. My sisters could be helpless." she said seriously and wiped the tears from her face. She couldn't leave her sisters alone and helpless. She wanted to make things better, but she didn't know how. She was useless at the moment. Maybe what Reid was saying was right, maybe space is needed sometimes. She looked up at him, a small half smile on her face as she looked at him.
"I just don't know what to do. I said things I thought I would never say." she said and looked down into her lap. She inhaled deeply and then stood up slowly, trying to be strong as she usually was. She looked up on the shores of Avalon and then she looked at Reid and offered her hand to him to help him up. She didn't know where she could go and she didn't want to intrude on Reid again on Avalon.
"I don't know where to go and I don't know where I belong." she said honestly.

He just held her for a bit until she pushed away. She thought she'd done the worst thing she could, and yet he knew of far worse things she could have done. She'd hurt them emotionally, but she hadn't killed anyone. And yet, for her it felt like things couldn't get any worse than they were. He could understand that. It was the way his life felt sometimes lately, but probably not to the extent that she did.
"Holly, trust me you could have done a lot worse than fight with your aunt and your sister. And you couldn't have gotten here if you'd broken the power of three. You wouldn't have your powers anymore. From what my mom told me it takes all three sisters to break the power of three, not just one. Hannah and Helena will be fine until you can get back to yourself."
Her gaze dropped into her lap as she commented about saying things she never thought she'd say. "We all do that when we're emotional Holly. We don't think as clearly and often times we'll say things we never meant to say. Yes, they do damage either way, and yes, sometimes they're things we never thought we'd say. But you can apologize, you can take the words back. It won't undo things, but it will make them better."
He took her hand as she helped him to his feet, giving her a reassuring smile. "As far as where you can go, there's always room here on Avalon, and I'd enjoy having you around for a while. Where you belong, well I'd say that's probably with your sister's, but you need a little alone time and maybe you can figure the answer to that question out yourself while you're here." His smile was extremely warm and kind now, the kind that would melt the hearts of some girls who liked him. "And before you even think you're intruding, I'm going to tell you that I insist. My mother gave you and your sister's the ability to come here because there's no safer place for you. There's no better place to just take some time off until you figure things out."
He gave a small laugh at the thought of taking time off. He himself needed to do that before his mother started wondering about his current obsession with researching. "Besides, I need to take a break too before my mom thinks I'm obsessed, and having you here will give me a reason. I don't need her getting suspicious of me. She wouldn't like what I'm doing if she knew, but in my defense it's to try and protect her, and my dad, and Caliste. Though if it were up to her she and my dad would be doing the protecting, not me, which is why she doesn't know yet."

He was right. She didn't break the power of three. But why on some level had she felt like she had. She felt like she was breaking every single little thing and she hated it at times. She felt like everything was breaking around her and she merely wished she could place the pieces together, sometimes, the pieces weren't able to fix and she hated that more than anything. She wished she could. She hated when things were broken, she hated feeling broken. She knew the feeling when Drew had disappeared.
"I wish I could take them back." she said honestly and she shook her head. She told her sister to leave her and die. Holly could never think that, but yet it came out of her mouth and she thought about it at the time. Holly wished she didn't say that to Helena, she knew Helena could be emotional at times and sensitive too. She knew she could hurt people one way or another. She hated it more than anything, she hated herself for it too. If only there was a way to get rid of it but she learned once things were done, they were done. No turning back. To the point of no return.
"Thanks. Thanks a bunch." she said honestly about letting her stay. She hated bothering people but she was glad she was welcomed here, if not then she would have been lost or somewhere else. She noticed the smile on his face and she felt a little warm inside, but then she quickly shook it off. She couldn't, it would be against everything she promised herself. But she smiled back gently out of respect and nothing more.
When she noticed that he had laughed, she thought he was crazy for the moment until he had explained things. She smiled and chuckled gently. He was trying to protect his family and she knew how that deal went down. She looked at him and then she looked down at the ground thinking, maybe she could help him. After a minute, she lifted her head to look at him.A small smile still on her face. "If you like, I can help you." she said honestly with a small smile. "Or if you really want to take a break, we could just hang." she said towards him. She bent down and picked up her bag of clothes and her guitar case. She looked at him once again. "I bet we can figure out something." she said smiling softly.

He turned to her with a curious look on his face as she asked if she could help him. He'd never considered asking someone for help. Caliste was too little to keep a secret and any of the guards or his relatives would probably have told his parents what he was up to. Holly he could trust though. It was like he'd thought before, she understood him. She wanted to be able to protect her family to, so she understood him wanting to protect his.
"If you're alright with helping I wouldn't mind it. I just need to spend less time than I have researching. I didn't sneak out or cause problems for weeks, so my mom is going to get suspicious of me before too long and she'll try and figure out what I'm doing. He ran a hand through his light colored hair. "You're actually the first person I've told. I just couldn't trust anyone else."
But he was beating around the bush right now. He trusted her, didn't he? All he had to tell her was what he was doing. "I've been taking books from the library and trying to find something, anything, that I could use to protect my family more. There's reasons I have Mike following me, and it's because of a threat my mom thinks has come back to haunt the family. I want to protect them from it. I've been looking at spells, potions, and artifacts trying to find one that will work..... and currently I haven't found anything."
He turned slightly red in the face, blushing and looking sheepish because the idea sounded really stupid when voiced aloud. "It's a stupid idea.... I know. Still, you won't tell my mom, will you? Even if I don't find anything, she'd still freak that I'd tried to find something.

Holly thought for a moment as she stood there. She knew she could help him, she was supernatural smart rather than book smart. She knew a lot about the supernatural and maybe her brains could help him out. She was hoping she could, all she needed to do was sit down and think and maybe research a bit but she had to try right? But she wasn't going to give up easily, that's something she would never do, especially for a friend.
She held onto the necklace that Asen had gave her and she looked down upon it. Her lips pressed together and then she looked at Reid with a small smile. She listened to what he was saying about potions and spells. She then looked at him for a moment and kept on thinking. She knew crystals were good for protection but she wondered how many it would take to lay around the castle. It would be too many to count. Plus if one broke, the whole protection comes down. It was a good protection but a lot of money plus it could easily be broken.
"Lets go into your room so I can check out those books. Maybe I can figure something out. I already had an idea of crystals but something tells me your going to need more than that." she said honestly and started to head towards the castle with her things in her hands. She inhaled deeply and kept on walking, her eyes set on the castle as she walked. She knew she had to help him, it not only would make her feel better, but she was helping out her friend. She looked back at him as he spoke about not telling anyone. She smiled.
"Trust me. I won't tell anyone. Come on," she said with a soft smile and then made her way towards the castle. She looked inside and lifted an eyebrow then turned to look at him with a small smile. "Where can I place my stuff so I can go and help you out." she asked as her eyes traveled everywhere once again. She knew she had a reason to be here, which she was glad she was here. She would rather be doing this than cry over what happened with her and her family.

He nodded as she said to go to his room. That was more than easy for him to do. They didn't even have to walk there. Plus, that was where his current collection of research materials were. If she was going to help him, then it made the most sense to start where he hadn't already looked. They were more likely to find something he hadn't already thought of.
"Right, we'll go to my room. As far as you're things, we'll make a stop in one of the guest rooms first. And we'll take the express route to save on time and so that you don't have to carry those for too long." With a grin he took her hand and the two were surrounded in swirling green orbs. Orbing was the power he'd had the longest, the one he was best at. He'd known for a long time now that when it came to fight or flight, flight was his best option. But not anymore. If I find an answer, maybe I won't have to run any longer.
When the orbs cleared, Holly and Reid were standing in one of the guest rooms of the palace. Reid still had a grin fixed on his face. "Orbing definitely beats walking when you've got lots of stuff to carry, though I do still tend to walk if I don't need to get somewhere fast. That and I can't orb outside of Avalon without risking exposure." He frowned at that, the whole fact that magic had already been exposed and now risking exposure meant risking being caught as someone who uses magic, a situation that could end very badly.
"So, you can put your things down and then we'll walk to my room so that you'll be able to find your way back here by yourself if you need to, which in all likelihood you will. For the time that you're here, this is your room. I'll just have to let my parents know that this guest room is in use. They like to be informed of those things."
He glanced around the room. He thought he'd made a good choice. The room was close enough to his that Holly and he could visit conveniently if they needed to, which would help if she was helping him with his research, but far enough away that his mom wouldn't suspect anything. He currently didn't have feelings for Holly that would have led to any activities his mom would need to be worried about - or didn't think he did anyways - but he might as well keep Liah's mind at ease since she'd be less likely to be suspicious that way. He wanted to keep her from finding out what he was doing for as long as possible.

She figured she could just walk towards the castle. It would be easiest, not to mention, she was trying to lay off her powers for a bit. But she stopped and looked at him as he spoke to her. She smiled and nodded gently. But she wondered what he meant by the express route. Honestly, Holly had all the time in the world to help him. She wanted to help him and his family. It was the least she could do after what they had done for them. Plus, Reid was her friend and she didn't want to led him down, she didn't want someone else to be disappointed in her too. She inhaled deeply and smiled.
She blinked for a moment and turned to look at him as he grabbed her hand. She smiled gently but when he started orbbing, she grabbed a hold of him, scared to let go and fall. Then when they appeared in the castle, in the guest room, she felt dizzy and she was still clutching onto Reid. When she realized she was clutching onto him, she blushed and moved away quickly. "I'm sorry. I'm just not used to orbbing. I've only done it a few times." she said honestly. She really did wonder when she would get used to it, she hated feeling dizzy after orbbing so much.
"It beats walking, but it doesn't beat my dizziness." [/color]she said and shook her head from side to side to snap it out of her. As soon as the dizzy feeling was out of her system. She placed her bags down. She frowned and she looked at him when he said about the risks outside of Avalon. "I'm sorry about that." she said honestly then turned to her bags and placed them on the bed. She knew it was her fault that he didn't have any freedom of orbbing anywhere he pleased, or anyone from that matter. It sucked, but she learned to deal with it.
She placed her things away and then she dropped one of her books with pages in them. The pages seemed to fly out and she sighed taking them in her hands. She realized she had a drawing of the castle and she looked down at it then showed it to Reid. "You can keep it if you want. I've done dozens. This is my best one." she said honestly with a small smile. She liked drawing this castle, she felt drawn to it more than anything. She didn't know how to explained it, but she thought this castle was from out of a dream. She then noticed there was one drawing of Drew and she quickly placed it under a few drawings and placed it back into the book and placed the book onto the desk there.
"Lets get going shall we?" she asked and turned to him.

His expression changed to a very apologetic one as Holly released her hold on him. "No, don't apologize. It's my fault. I didn't know you were uncomfortable orbing and I should have thought of that. I've just had this power since.... well as long as I can remember. Orbing was the first power I got. But I should have realized not everyone is as accustomed to it as me."
He was really worried as to whether she'd be okay or not. If she wasn't it was his fault after all. He had only been trying to help and he'd end up beating himself up if he knew he'd done her any harm. She seemed fine after a bit though, and started putting her bags down on the bed. She also apologized for the problems that now came with being a magic user outside of Avalon.
"That's not your fault either you know. You weren't the one who magically blew up the manor, and if Patience hadn't done that then the three of you wouldn't have needed to be saved by your whitelighter. The only way we could have avoided this was if you'd risked dying in that explosion, and I'd rather not have had that happen. I might never have met you if you had."
When she dropped the book he tried to ignore the many pages, most of them containing drawings. He wasn't sure if she wanted him to see them or not. He did help her pick them up, he just tried not to look at what was in his hands. Not until she called his attention to the drawing of the castle, his home.
It was.... amazing really. When she offered to let him keep it he almost didn't know what to say. "Thank you," though that almost seemed inadequate, he didn't know what else there was. She finally broke him out of trying to express his thanks by suggesting they get going.
"Uh, right. Let's go," he said, standing up and heading towards the door. "My room isn't too far from here. Just follow me."

She smiled at him and giggled a bit. "It's fine really. I should be getting used to it. " she said honestly and smiled. She would have to get used to it because she bet anything her white lighter James would drag her here and there as soon. So she knew she would have to get used to it as much as she could. Inhaling deeply, she smiled and then she went back to fixing her things for a moment.
Patience. How that name made her skin boil. The thought of her made her freeze a bird outside and she gasped as she saw that the bird was frozen. She looked at the bird and unfroze it with the wave of her hand then she turned her attention back towards. She wasn't surprised that she had froze that without using her hands. She knew it would happen eventually. She smiled figuring out that her powers must have been growing, to her amazement she thought it was about time, but she wasn't complaining about it.
"I hate her, she ruined my life." she said honestly and shook her head, calming down in a minute. Patience was going to get a beat down as soon as Holly ran into her. She so wanted to kill Patience more than anyone in the world and she had a right to kill her because of her being so evil. She swore she was going to get rid of Patience one day. She needed to be buried in the ground. Holly never felt so much hate for one person but she knew that's how she felt about her own half sister.
But she smiled when she saw the face on Reid. She was glad he liked it. Sometimes words don't always have to express everything. Sometimes feelings or emotions can show what you mean and Holly understand that he was amazed by it. She stared at his expression and her smile never faded. She was glad he liked it, if he didn't, she didn't know what to say. She knew she was a good artist because it showed in her work. It could have been called the real thing but it was on paper and it was not in color. "I'm glad you like it. Maybe we can see the other drawings when we take a break from you know what." she said meaning from the research the were going to do.
She nodded and started following him out the door towards his room.

He couldn't blame her for feeling how she did about Patience. The phrase blood is thicker than water didn't apply here, because Patience might as well have not been related at all. The half sister of the Charmed ones didn't seem to act at all as though she were part of their family, and there was no love there that he knew of. Then again, all of this was his own thoughts based on things he heard. He could be wrong, though a very large part of him doubted it. "She ruined life for the entire magical community." Reid added. "Evil magic gets to run rampant while good magic hides. We don't want to be persecuted for what we do, and yet we'd be lumped right in with the demons and such because the world can't understand there are two sides to magic, just like anything else." He sighed and shook his head. It wasn't fair, and yet it probably wouldn't be a good idea to go back in time and try to change that. Who knew what effects that could have. But all thoughts of Patience and witch hunts aside, he smiled at her. She'd offered to show him more of the drawings when they took a break from researching. "I'd like to see the rest of them later. Thank you, again."The walk to his room didn't take long. The walls here, nearest to the rooms of him and his family, were lined with family portraits and mementos. It was just like a normal house would be if you ignored the fact that it was quite a bit larger and forgot that it was, in the end, only a small part of a large castle. Still, this was the part Reid felt made them seem the most human and less like an untouchable because of being the royal family. When they reached his room he opened the door There were several books on many of the available surfaces. A few lying open here and there on the desk or the floor. The chairs in the room and the bed were the only thing the were completely open, though the floor was at least open enough to walk on. "Sorry about the mess. Like I said, my mom would have figured I was obsessed if she saw all of this."((OOC: Sorry about not having much of a visual on the bedroom. Working on seeing if I can find an image so I don't have to describe it all. EDIT: Picture here))

She smiled when she heard him say that he would love to see more of her drawings later. She would show him if he wanted to see of course. She had a few of Avalon and she wondered if he would want to see those. Probably those especially more than the others. But she liked drawing, it was her talent, just like her music was. But her art held a piece of her that was a part of her. She felt connected to her art in ways she couldn't describe and she loved it thought. The feeling to draw and paint anything her heart desires made her feel so open like nothing before.
She followed him to his room. A small smile as she looked around the hall way. It felt dark and slightly cold but she wasn't going to say anything. She sighed gently and then she smiled at him. When she saw his room. She blinked gently as she saw all the clutter inside. She thought it was just as bad as her room when she was living in the Halliwell manor. She found it quite funny which is why she had an amused face on as she looked at his room. But she could picture his room clean, she figured it had looked nice. She liked his room besides all the mess. She chuckled gently and turned to him.
"Reminds me of my old room. I'm not as neat when I used to have all my stuff. Since I have less stuff it's less of a mess." she said and smiled gently. But she wasn't lazy because she would clean her room, but after a while, once a hurricane hit, her room was messed up again and she would have to repeat the whole cleaning cycle again. She hated cleaning but she knew she had to clean her room. She was glad that no one bossed her around when it came to cleaning her room. She hated when people told her what to do. She hated taking orders from adults. She found it annoying at times. It had depended on what they were asking at times.
She walked around his room and picked up a book on artifacts and she skimmed through it. Her eyes scanning the information as she read. All incantations and spells, some on objects and potions. She knew she would have to do a lot of reading but she wouldn't mind. She liked reading about this stuff. She then looked up at him and smiled gently towards him and then looked back down on the book scanning. This wouldn't help much, the protection on this spell would only work for a day. So she placed the book down and she looked up at him with a small smile.
She sat in the chair and looked at all the books and then at him chuckling. "Looks like I'm going to pull an all nighter." she said with a small smile and looked at the books trying to find one of her interest. She knew she would have to do a lot of research but she had enough time to do all of it and she knew she wanted to help Reid as much as she could. It wasn't her duty but it was something she wanted to do for him because of what he did for her.
